    • @Burleon I'm from Eastern Europe. Stop calling our countries underdeveloped when most of you don't even know where Eastern Europe is. We have food, roads, cars and anything else your country does. Just because the US wasn't affected by WW2 and suffered almost nothing compared to Europe doesn't mean that you get the right to call countries much older than yours "underdeveloped". Our countries suffered, our ancestors suffered more than you could ever know. The US is not the best, and it never was. The only ones who seem to think that, are you.

    • @@kevinboros7427 actually you guys never suffered from slavery and the Americans lost loved ones trying to help Eastern Europeans fight both their crappy wars

      @kvngirvng9475@kvngirvng94754 жыл бұрын
    • @@kvngirvng9475 *Europeans, not Eastern Europeans. All of Europe was at war. Blame it on Germany and Austria. Every single European country that was part of the war lost more than the United States. It was their decision to join the war, and the European theatre would have been won without them anyways. The Americans turned both World Wars into profit, making huge stacks of money. Also, what about slavery? As far as I know, Americans had slaves just like most countries(that's why the civil war started so it's pretty obivous). But not all countries murdered natives to expand, like America.

      @katrinia86@katrinia865 жыл бұрын
    • @Ash N We may never know who The Watcher is for sure or why these people were harassed but I have some theories. 1. The Watcher once owned the house but lost it and couldn't stand the house being renovated in any way. 2. The Watcher wanted to purchase the house but the Broaddus family beat them to it.

There were 2 brothers who were in the mob that carried out a hit on their own father because he "messed up" and the bosses told them their father had to go. You can't refuse a hit because if you did there was a high chance you'd be buried next to the person that you refused to kill.

  • So, my grandma used to do the books and run a nightclub in Fontana for a guy named Mario. When Mario showed up at my mom's wedding to my dad, she only knew Mario as her mom's boss, but apparently (as one would expect), that place was a front. In any case, Mario came to the wedding and told her, "he ever hurts you, you call Mario", and behind her her mother was shaking her head and waving her hand like "don't ever call Mario, just don't! If you love your husband and want him to live, don't ever call Mario!" and she's like, "oh, I don't want him to hurt my husband, what are you talking about?" and it took her while to figure out that Mario not only meant it, but could do it. That's a little bit of family lore that leads me to believe that the California Mafia was apparently quite the thing; in fact, the Fontana branch of it was pretty scary. It was them and outlaw bike clubs like the Vagos. I just never thought of Fontana as being like that until I heard that story.

There's also the ghost of Louis Luetgert who was killed in her husband's sausage factory. We got murder, mayhem, and hot dogs. Come on down to the Big Town on the Prairie.

  • For the postmortem: The fact that 9 shots were taken really casts a shadow of a doubt on some of the theories that are being made. Like take the war vet for example, 9 shots would seemingly be too many for someone who is supposed to be "an expert marksman." #postmortem

    @kai-dl4kw@kai-dl4kw5 жыл бұрын
    • This I think adds more credence to the theory that his friend killed him. With him not being an expert marksman or anything, he'd only have been practicing for a little while before doing the deed and even then, as Shane surmised, emotion might have come into it. So he's not a great gunman and he's shooting his old friend down, probably going to make a mess of it and go overboard with the shooting.

  • Would you all possibly consider covering the disappearance of underwater cave diver Ben McDaniel in a future episode? He disappeared in Vortex Springs, a man made cave near Ponce de Leon, FL. The weird part is there is only one way to enter/exit and they never found his body. There is an awesome multi-part reddit thread about it on r/unresolvedmysteries that I recommend checking out if you're at all interested in the case

    @l.o.b.7462@l.o.b.74625 жыл бұрын
    • That case is honestly so baffling. Logically, considering how reckless he was and just how dangerous cave diving is in general, everything points to him dying in the cave. But then where’s the body?? If the theory on the owner hiding his body is true, because he didn’t want to be sued, why would you leave his gear? I don’t think the owner would kill him because he was making a lot of money off Ben’s diving craze, but there was definitely something sketchy about that man. It’s one of the cases I honestly have no theories on, it feels like a huge piece of information is unknown that would finally connect everything together.

    • L B You're right!!! Maybe though there is some type of decomposition that can take place in there and erase trace of a body? I just think the fact that only non organic signs of his prescience remained points to the water doing her thing, and to be fair, recovering Cave Diving Corpses is a mess on its own
