Richard Browning is a British inventor and founder of Gravity Industries. He and his team have built multiple, fully functional jet suits. The Iron Man suit is as close to reality as its ever been, and I got to try one for myself. The suit is comprised of five jet engines, two on each arm, and one of the rear, and you fly by bringing the jets up to full power for your body weight and vectoring your arms downward. It's incredible to see the progression of Gravity in just three short years.

great video Sam. always.
After doing homework as a father, I open my little MBP 15/2016 and boom, Sam with an amazing video and Casey commenting without Likes? Come on Sam! Happy New Year to everyone!
thanks casey :)

At 72 years old I cannot believe I was lucky enough to live to witness this....epic.
Just live another 20 years to experience how we colonize moon and Mars and set up an entire city there. How cool would that be?
Iam so happy for you hang on there is lot more to see
@@Rrahulkumarr much more then 20 years bruh
@@retna1x363 let's see.
Wishing you a longer life, sir. Who knows? We might get a breakthrough in 10-20 years and you get another chance at youth once more :D
The Wright Brothers first flight lasted 12 seconds and covered around 100 metres in distance. So this is a pretty impressive start.
let's just say this masterpiece is the last of a long road, impressive aniway..
It is flying in machines but he flew like on his own like Ironman so there is difference between the two.
This made me tear up man, I love watching people accomplish their goals, especially such a massive goal. Very well done video! I’ve got a new go to KZheadr after watching this.
Richard Browning comes from a pilot/aeronautical background within his family... that doesn’t hurt. Epic breakthrough!!!
The hoverboard scene at 5:12 is wicked!
@Whuts Uhp imagine being such a twat
Green goblin
This is like the Wright Brothers of Jet Suit flight. So glad I'm still alive to witness this. I didn't think I would ever see a Jet suit in my lifetime. Richard Browing is a brave man. He took on the unknown and won.
Finally, the jet pack I was promised as a kid
You today: This is a state of the art flying suit and only cost me 10K bucks for 2 minutes of flight costing 5 bucks in fuel each time. Your grandchildren in 60 years: Strap on 30 bucks worth of anti-grav belt and fly around all day on the equivalent of a PP3 battery.

Well this is definitely going in my bucket list
i am currently working on my own invention and i can't even articulate how good, in so many ways, seeing this has been for me. this is a great video, my friend. the subject matter is great, i like the guy, the suit is obviously awesome, your style and manner in the interview and the setup, the questions you asked, the way you demonstrated, the editing was a good balance of speed without sacrificing content, just everything was on point. good job and thank you.
The whole topic is cool but man that was a really well-produced video. I at one point was so immersed I forgot I was on youtube.
These suits don’t remind me as much of iron man, but the villain that engineers this in his garage. Good vid Sam!
Ramon Solorio definitely has a “Green Goblin” vibe 🤘
Tony Stark built the first new version of the suit in his garage... It's Iron Man if you let it be. Except for that glow in the dark lighted one...definitely green goblin-esque. :-)
Thanks Sam, exciting times ahead it seems. Hope YOU get to fly soon.
Excellent video. Thanks. It was good to see the story on how Richard came up with the idea of the jet suits and developed them. Looks like this idea will probably surpass the manned drone one.
Sam this is so awesome. Glad you had this great experience and shared it with us in your throughly descriptive style!!
What a crazy drop on Dec 31st 🙌.
When racing / competition teams get into these just think where this is going to go! These are amazing. True dream machines for a lot of people.
omg, he been doing for 2 years, first I've seen it. I am totally amazed!
You always bring amazing perspective and very valuable content. I appreciate you, Sam!
Ah now I get what you were saying on Sam Roger's channel about seeing him in a week! ;) Also I love the Jet suit! Always had a million questions about the jet suit and I loved how in-depth this video was! Many videos just explain the basics, but I was so excited you added all the details! Helped awnsers some questions I had.
I’m curious about some more serious information on this device. - What kind of military contracts is the company going for? What’s the vision for defense contracts? - What’s the range of a suit with a given weighted payload? - How much does it cost to make 10 suits? - What kind of fuel does it use and what are the chances of it exploding mid flight? - Who is the main competitor in the market and what are they doing? - Who’s funding the company and why?

So awesome, Sam! Such a cool experience to have and share! The style of this video is great as well. Very interesting and well put together
this was an awesome video, Sam! It was great to finally meet you while hanging out there all day!
Thank you for bringing up a great positive ambition and feeling.
Incredible Boss, ur doing awesome invention to first men flying jet suite. When I were a jet suite of Gravity, I would fly in the sky. Love from India 🙏💓💐
Fantastic video Sam! What a wonderful video to end 2019.
My 6 year old daughter said it best. It's amazing what people can do.
This one of the most innovative ideas that I have seen in quite some time. Charter on, you have something here! Elon Musk would surely be interested in helping with the electric option. Super cool
Absolutely fascinating! Richard Browning is definitely an impressive innovator. Just imagine all the iterations of this technology there will be in 5-10 years time?
Tbh one of the best videos Sam had ever put out, congrats man
since i can think its my dream to fly (not in the way you do in an aircraft). i always thought thats a ridiculous dream that never would be fulfilled. my first glimmer of hope was the existence of wingsuits, but seeing this video makes me really happy. if the jet suit gets ready to be bought and used by "normal people" this man and his company would probably fulfill the bigest dream of many others like me.
Have you heard of paramotors? They're pretty cool... essentially a big fan and paraglider that you can carry on your feet (or in the trunk of your car). Not the same thing as being Tony Stark but it already exists and is pretty cool.
Technology at it’s finist, love this jet engine flying suit👍👍👍.
This is the coolest thing ever!!!! I am so excited to see where this invention goes! Your channel rocks!
Never seen this guy smiling so much!
That opening night shot got my like.
Holy S, new it was coming but in my life, love it! Thanks for sharing.
this is just cool, need one of these, just amazing stuff
i dont know why but at 10:27 when the dude just comes in a pulls the dude to the ground that was so funny "no. stay on the ground"
Imagine watching this video in 100 years from now! What an ancient "tech" we were so basic in 2020 lol
Great insight on your experience with this!
So basically, he's Tony Stark. Nice.
He's tony stark, for about 90 seconds :D
Wheres the guns tho? And speed and height he can fly lol ur dumb bryan
Bryan C. - I guess you could say he's Tony Stark, but not as handsome, at least in my opinion. But to each his own.
Watch someone build a superhero suit out of it
@Dayz gone by it's not fake lol
When the prime ingredients of the jet suit; battery and components become even more efficient, that is the point when these jet suit will become commercialized ! can't wait till that era comes and it is coming ;)
@Whuts Uhp i think you are missing the point of my message lol.. what you are saying is what i'm saying as well
Its a jet engine not an electric motor, it has a fuel tank with kerosene I suppose
@Whuts Uhp only because thigs havent chagne doesnt mean they wont youll be left behind and poor witth that mentality
@Whuts Uhp what company is that?
It won't just like we won't have flying cards. Air traffic control and safety.
Extremely entertaining and well produced, well done Sam
Glad to see the rocketeer in Red Alert 2 has finally made it onto KZhead!
Such a great and inspiring video. I can’t wait to see what Gravity brings to the world in ten-fifteen years.
It seems as I come closer to start training for my pilot training flight I see more and more about aviation.
And I get told "Motorcycles are dangerous!" MOM YOU LOOKIN' AT THIS?!
Tell your mom you want to buy one 😂
@@JayR305TheChosenOne I already own a motorcycle, I showed this to my mom and she's like 'NOOOOOOOOOO' hahaha. She said it's pretty cool though.
riding motorcycles is a mathematical anomaly. been riding over 43 years and my number finally came up. auto pulled out in front of me, i was in second gear at 28 mph and i had no idea it would be so painful. destroyed springer harley, about killed the wife and sent my ass to the moon. i now only ride on divided 4 lane. listen to mama. shes been around.lol.
Hahaha i ride a longboard up to 60plus miles per hour on gravity fed means. Mom hold my bong, while i go and rip this jet pack!!!

Fantastic interview and subject matter, totally amazing!!!
Pure genius, not just because of the jet suit, but the business plan for furthering its development.
I have had dreams of flying since I was a child. Had it down to a science. Even remember teaching others how to fly in my dreams! Please have me as a guest next time you embark on one of these flying journeys! 🙏

Fascinating interview. Thx
Thank you, Sam. I've recently seen the Gravity video showing up in my feed, so I finally watched it. Checked out the website, saw a lot of clothes. So, I thought this whole thing was a gimmick to sell clothes. Of course, I've seen the Jet Suit wing, but that's airborne launched, needs a parachute, etc. To watch this, I didn't think it was real, just some really good CGI. So, I want to thank you for sitting down with Richard and explaining the whole system. The biggest part, of course, is the jet engine on the back, which I hadn't understood before, didn't know it was there. I thought the whole thing flew from the four engines on your arms. I had no clue as to how that could have supported you. But, in laying all of this out, showing us your own experience flying it, and giving us the insight into the control of the system, I understand how it works. Obviously, Richard is one of those few people who can creatively think far outside of the box, and he has So, I thank you for pulling back the curtain, as it were, to show us the details on this tech.
This was the first video I watched in 2020!
Wonder if it is safe or even practical to hybridize the design with a base jump suit for high speed stability? It might be effective at flat angles but does it become dangerous during 90 degree stabilization due to drag or would it merely be a matter of pilot adjustment for the abrupt breaking? I like doing these balancing physics puzzles in video games but these guys are hard core.
@Rich Browning Brother you are one in eight billion ! BRAVO !!
Can’t wait to go to the store with one of these.
i really hope this is the future of transport, would be so much fun
Yea pretty fun until you have a engine failure and crash

Is it hot where the thrusters are? Like how many degrees we talking?
700ish
Yeah... hot
Emergency flying persons to rescue someone or a paramedic into a scene, of hard to reach ( traffic etc), seems a good ideia.
Dude, this is sick! Wow! Best video ever
Flips and rolls would look incredible!
"what if we had propulsion on our arms?" he says, pretending he didn't watch iron man
Or read? Since that happened WAY earlier.
there's only one thing missing to make this invention perfect... ...a complimentary chicken suit
This is a great video. Keep it up
Amazing well done Richard and Gravity Industries
What about hydrogens engines? Would that be an idea? And what about grafene for batteries?
Hydrogen engine needs pure oxygen and their combustion cannot be controlled . otherwise the pilot will burn.
Pitch this idea to the military industrial complex and voula, you have a multi million dollar contract for life.
They'd rather use drones.

Very informing. Nice interview
They have electric version, that means the only missing thing is the arc reactor
Yes electrical version rockets seems sketch
This guy is brilliant start a human flying race league
That would skyrocket (pun intended) that industry, competition always makes for faster advancements in technology
fuel lasts two minutes, talk a bout a short competition, but if they can solve this problem the sky is the limit, puns and everything

Brilliant!
I dream about that all the time even In my sleep
