  • I beat this game as an inquisitor and got an amazing ending. However my family name ended up smeared forever among the nobility.

  • This game feels very much like an expanded version of the old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books. Also, I completed the game at least once and I feel like I tried to straddle both sides (the nobles and the commoners) and yet I feel like I got an ending that didn't fit the path I took throughout the game...

    @notreallyhere67@notreallyhere673 жыл бұрын
    • Wdym "didn't fit he path you took"? As in "you acted like a nobles proper son and in the end got an ending where commoners won and destroyed Arizotte with their crazy witch"? Or you mean you wanted to be duels master and barely done it in the path? If it's former then I get your complains, although in my first playthrough I just got a game over kinda ending

  • Kinda makes me remember the strategy game Frostpunk, not the story but the goverment part, in the game the world is frozening over a massive new ice age and you have to keep your communitty safe during the helpless situation, and you have only two options to mantain power, through facism or religion fervor, you either use the force to keep people in line to mantain order and do what it takes to survive or you form a cult to give hope for the people and survive in the hope a better future.

  • Vee, if you like games with decisions and consequences then you should try "Pathologic". Or Pathologic 2, which is a fresh remake of the original game, but it's not completed and has only 1 out of 3 characters that all give you different look at the story.

    @MadVillain0x5d@MadVillain0x5d3 жыл бұрын
    • Recommending Pathologic has to be a troll, right? It does have some choices n consequences but most of it, is just torture pron gameplay vise 😅

    • @@danielsurvivor1372 well its difficult for sure, but its supposed to be. Its not your average dickless western "survival" game. Although the original game is very outdated and has some broken gameplay mechanics so I would only recommend it for the story.

  • 4:16 It's more deep than that! Your MC is born peasant only because your dads last wife(youe mom) was a peasant, however Stephan, yo big bro, was born from a nobel wife. Aka if both parents are of noble mantle or higher, then their kid is automatically born a noble(and obviously preferred by society at large)

  • I'll be honest, I think the reason people don't pick it up is because they see them as too expensive. I think it is cool you talk about games you enjoy but I personally can't see myself paying nearly 20 euros for a CYOA book, even if it is pretty good. I also think that is why Sseths reviews work so well in boosting sales since he contacts the game companies to get the prices down 70-90% off for like a week after his review.

    @six2make4@six2make43 жыл бұрын
    • Wait wait wait AYO? Sseth does WHAT?!? I better pay attention to his next reviews then! Do you know how he's able to contact devs just like that to lower the price?

  • 3:14 I think you're confusing Char Milanidas' uprising with a popular revolt. Char Milanidas, an Arkinian archduke was the first to enoble humans as a political move to ensure his powerbase in his region before and during his uprising. I believe they say in the game that there has never been a popular revolt led by commoners, which is what makes the Anizotte revolt so pivotal. As for the origin of commoners being enobled by the mantle, I am unsure if that was Char Milanidas, or if it came about afterwards, perhaps as a social reform due to societal pressures. It is however true that commoner rights do become more important during the time period the game takes place in, but it is implied to be a newer tread championed by Cornelius Tempest, the Emperor's chancellor. Due to this error I think you should re-upload your video, such a mistake demands it.

  • I’ve noticed with ‘the critical drinker’, videos saying something is good get a lot less views than when he’s completely ripping on something. I think it’s an American thing, they seem to have a dystopia fetish as well. Want a video to do well in the US, just do one on how bad x,y, z country is.
