Anti lettuce bacon garlic tomato and queso, they said. Fortunately, a bunch of others gathered together and fought back and said that not everything must always be gay. As for the OP, turns out he was uncomfortable because he was groomed by an older male relative and that ship reminded him of a traumatic childhood.

For the most part Most Women treat other women poorly in social groups. They’ve created animosity online and IRL in their spaces and have decided to branch out to men’s hobbies as there is money and clout in it. Not to mention men love being around women for the most part though it doesn’t always go both ways. They played men like a fiddle and continue the concerto as well speak. I’ve learned to just do things in my own spaces and entirely offline. There’s some pretty cool groups in my town so I keep it to that.

This just shows how “out of touch” these companies have become from their actual customers. Look at NIANTIC and WARHAMMER for example. All of the customers are screaming to fix the mess, yet they see REDDIT praising the ridiculous changes and go “well, if REDDIT likes it, then it’s okay, despite going DEAF by the screams of 95% of the customers.” It’s quite frankly, baffling as to how detached they have become…

Reddit echo chambers are incredibly toxic and shouldn't be taken into consideration at all. Sadly every fan reddit gets infiltrators like these creatures and they slowly take over because normal people have other things to do then spend 24/7 online talking about what they like instead of doing it. I will give one example, Warcraft Rumble reddit is a niche fandom right now, because Blizzard has not added anything interesting for months to the game or anything extra to do all people talked about is asked questions about what talent is the best to buy for X minion. From time to time in these posts creatures would roam in to complain people only post questions like this ... like how toxic can you be to click on something you don't like at all, that you could have overlooked and just click on a thread you were interested in ? Better yet why not create one yourself if there are none. I know the answer to why not create one, because evil destroys and corrupts, never creates. Creatures like these need to be gatekept, they are the same ones who start crying when there are problems with a game and people posting about it are toxic because there is no positivity! You are not allowed to voice your opinion unless it's positive! And this is how they slowly turn everything into an echo chamber. People leave because they care about the product or fandom but don't want to waste time dealing with creatures and move on... and in the end, only creatures are left and you either conform and submit to complete echo indoctrination or leave!

Back then bullies saw you playing with your toys with a friend or 2 on the ground, happy, laughing. They came and made you leave so they could "play" there, the way they played was just to trash the place so nobody could enjoy it anymore. At one point this happened to a friend when we were kids, we searched for the bullies, surrounded them and started making fun of them and picking on them. We were a lot more so they no longer had the numbers. Of course their eyes got teary and we laughed even more. Guess what, after that we never saw them again anywhere near we played.

Remember, just because you're gatekeeping on your hobby doesn't mean the door doesn't open sometimes. It's not a wall. We get to choose, as the fandom, whether and when the door opens. If we don't, we get BS like this and our hobby dies.

Search for "warhammer helldivers miniatures.' The work needed is relatively minor to create a squad of Guardsmen that look like Helldivers, complete with capes, a Guard Dog drone and heavy weaponry. And, if one were to look on...certain flag-waving sites...one could find 'convincing replicas' of GW miniatures that can be 3d printed.

"ESG money" is a red herring and irrelevant to GW. People don't seem to know how shares etc. work. GW do not care if blackrock, vanguard pull out. There are 10,000s of investors lining up to take GW stock. GW do not care about ESG and only pay lip service to it (which is why the ESG sections of their reports to investors DO NOT MENTION the woke BS other than a few meaningless lines). If you're a tiny company - like a video game company with few staff - yes, "ESG money" is a good idea. Companies the size of GW do not have to give a sh*t - and they don't. GW are woke because they were captured by woke people and chose to be so. End of story. Pretending this had anything to do with ESG (GW actually hate ESG) is barking up the wrong tree and allowing the real culprits to hide themselves.

There is a step in this process that that Grummz missed. This community manager's takeover of the Battletech Subreddit and Discord wasn't some sneaky, behind-the-scenes thing that the company wasn't aware of. She was HIRED by CGL specifically to do it. CGL wants to "fix" the fan-base to be more in line with the vast, teeming, chomping-at-the-bit-to-spend-money "modern audience" that's been avoiding the franchise because of all the conservative types infesting the fan-base. Look how well it's worked for Star Wars and Star Trek (and terminator and Dr. Who and Indy and Willow and Transformers and Tomb Raider and Marvel comics and DC . . . )

I had an attempted Marxist takeover of my Discord server back in 2020. The irritation around the election season caused one of my former friends to talk around with a few others until he found other Marxists. From there, he had grouped with them in the server and started DMing me that I should ban all the right wingers in the server, including the libertarian ones. They were being incredibly toxic and demandy, especially to me when I would try to stay neutral. Ironically, it was a liberal they were going to let stay. Take that how you will. 😂 Anyway, instead of banning my friends I made the hard decision of banning the Marxists instead, which is how I think we have to fight this shit. Stand up to them and purge them like how they'd purge you. Now my small community of 150 friends are a haven from this culture war.

I didn't like having to lose friends over this but I had no choice: It was either they went or my other friends they kept claiming were fascists went. Even if true, the "fascists" were being civil and only presenting opposition to their beliefs. (It was really just people like you or I who aren't politically correct aka normal) Anyway get this: after kicking the offenders, one of them a girl, caused her simps to go off in my server spamming it, calling us all fascists, and throwing whiny tantrums until I had to ban them too. It was like, once they couldn't take over my server and it's community, they decided they would destroy it instead.

@@Justmonika6969 I learned this perspective in college from overzealous professors. They tended to view everything through a political lens and saw everything as propaganda. If something did not align with their beliefs, they considered it a tool for the opposition and sought to control or destroy it. This is why entertainment companies do not care if their franchises fail, as long as the franchises are not perceived as supporting the opposition. Essentially, in their minds, everything is political.

Grummz was the ally we needed back 10 years ago when this whole thing first started. Happy that he is speaking up now, but I went through absolute hell after getting my Games/IT Degree just to get a job interview for a Quality Assurance position in a Games Company that does existing Game Ports onto other platforms. I failed to get the position in 2017 but saw on a private FB-group in 2018 that these people in Games Industry are activists.

As a person who has experienced this first-hand, I will explain how these things actually happen: ___ First off, the majority of Marxists are feminists. Marxism is a popular left-wing ideology and over 70% of women identify as leftists. What happens is as follows: A product either becomes popular, receives a fair degree of marketing or the company hires a consulting firm for the purposes of marketing a product to a particular demographic. At some point, the company (who is almost always ignorant of culture-war and wokeness) sets out to make the product "inclusive" to maximize sales. These "consultants" are brought in to review the product and recommend changes as needed. Because the aim is "diversity" and "Inclusivity", *these consultants are almost 100% of the time (black) women or gay men/trans-women,* as they are now considered the face of "diversity, equity and inclusion" *(DEI).* These groups recommend politically-motivated changes, as well as hiring other activist organizations, greatly expanding the development of said product. The company or investors are told (routinely) that, *while there will be some criticisms of these changes,* the product will largely be successful. These investors/companies; *who do not know their fanbase or are afraid of social backlash* agree to the changes. The product either tanks with its intended market or does not meet sales expectations, and these activist groups quickly take to social media to do damage control while having internal discussions about next steps. They are then either quietly fired, resign (after they are paid for their "services") or kept on for future releases until another situation leads to the previously mentioned scenario. ___ I have seen this happen (twice) in real-time, I was in a company when this happened. Also, when these activists leave companies/projects, they rebrand or join other companies and will outright lie on resumes and things like that. They will also outright lie to gain control of the direction of development. ___ *EDIT:* There is a solution to this and it's not "leave", running away is not a solution. The solution is to "fight back", something gamers do not do. The reason that this is happening is because gamers (as a collective) do not fight for shit. They complain or run away and expect that to fix the issue. These activists *FIGHT* for what they want and you normies *DO NOTHING* about it, some of you even support it. For example, *ALL* of you supported JKR and Hogwarts because you incorrectly thought she was some anti-woke freedom fighter. JKR is a man-hating feminist, who hates the trans community because they infringe on women's rights. *JKR took the money that you MEN gave her and poured it into feminist companies and groups like Sweet Baby Inc.* These corporations will not fight these activists if they don't see a reason to. Until *YOU* gamers fight for what you want, this will not stop or change.

A good thing about Model trains is that it is fairly hard to infiltrate. Same goes for most minaturism such as war diorama or others that does not stop at ready made models and does not have a monopoly dictating how the hobby is enjoyed ( cough Warhammer 40 K ), because it requires you to put a large amount of time and skill into something apolitical in order to have anything that gives you a platform in the community. Delayed gratification hobbies and masculine hobbies also lacks an appeal to these people.

To be honest, the Catalyst Battletech forums have always been a place for nepotism and toxicity, particularly from the moderators. You show them wjere you've been harassed in a screenshot, and if it's someone on their friends list, or if they agreed with the perpetrator, they'd let it ride and ban the victim. I left after a row with their upper echelon, even after Weisman himself got involved to try and calm things down. I appreciate his efforts, but he needed to get rid of that toxic bunch, they were terrible and Im more than sure they're the same bunch allowing this current era politics in to ruin the game.

I was the lead moderator for the facebook Space Opera group for years, taking it from around 2k up to around 20k by the time I turned the reigns over to the other mods. We had a very strict no politics rule, excepting only the politics discussed within the work itself. No real-world contemporary politics. One warning, then banned. When we did ban someone, there was a post describing the orbital strike that took them out :) Some of those were pretty funny too. Regardless, it was effective and kept the group as apolitical as possible. I bowed out in 2018 as I'd taken a job that didn't give me as much slack time as previously AND, honestly, I could see just how devisive Star Trek Discovery was going to be. I didn't realize that was the least of our worries at the time :)

We have to ask ourselves this question. Despite being extremely unpopular and generally financially bad, why is it that companies and entertainment keep hiring these people and adopting these policies and politics? It's because these people for 1: have control of the education system, meaning they have a large influence on the people who will go to work in these companies, 2nd: they have the backing of massive investment funds that promote them in order to get their political projects implemented, 3rd: these people are true believers in the ideology. Its essentially a religion to them and will follow it even if it burns the company down. And 4th: they have the backing of anti-discrimination laws that make any gatekeeping against them basically illegal. To fix these issues, we must first fix academia and law.

I think it's not just a matter of recognizing and not supporting these insidious takeovers, but building and gatekeep alternatives of what they did take over. Because they have been rather smart about what they took over, choosing targets that would cause great inconvenience if avoided. Sarna aka the most popular battletech wiki is also following the steps of this community manager. I've been avoiding that site but looking up anything battletech is quite troublesome. Same with Nexus mod, I've been avoiding it but it means getting any mod requires word of mouth and tracking down the modder's site/git if it even exists outside of Nexus.

Now that you're making a game of your own you probably understand the value of having a personal and direct line to your customers. As soon as some filter gets in between the two is when issues start to arise. Not to mention that subversive types will always target any such filter positions. Considering it's now easier than ever I'd say that every creator should do exactly this: Have a direct line of communication with their customers. No managers, PR, journalists, etc. Bypass all filters and only use unmoderated (as much as such a thing is possible) platforms. Which is another issue as well, the subversives will also target moderator positions in order to shape what appears to be the popular narrative.

For the most part Most Women treat other women poorly in social groups. They’ve created animosity online and IRL in their spaces and have decided to branch out to men’s hobbies as there is money and clout in it. I will give one example, Warcraft Rumble reddit is a niche fandom right now, because Blizzard has not added anything interesting for months to the game or anything extra to do all people talked about is asked questions about what talent is the best to buy for X minion. From time to time in these posts creatures would roam in to complain people only post questions like this ... like how toxic can you be to click on something you don't like at all, that you could have overlooked and just click on a thread you were interested in ? Better yet why not create one yourself if there are none. I know the answer to why not create one, because evil destroys and corrupts, never creates. Creatures like these need to be gatekept, they are the same ones who start crying when there are problems with a game and people posting about it are toxic because there is no positivity! You are not allowed to voice your opinion unless it's positive! And this is how they slowly turn everything into an echo chamber. People leave because they care about the product or fandom but don't want to waste time dealing with creatures and move on... and in the end, only creatures are left and you either conform and submit to complete echo indoctrination or leave!
So much easier for small business owners like myself to stay in touch with my customer base because I literally live with them in the same community, go to the same places, my kids plays with and hangs out with their children and we belong to same groups, I don't live in a gated community isolated from them.

Search for "warhammer helldivers miniatures.' The work needed is relatively minor to create a squad of Guardsmen that look like Helldivers, complete with capes, a Guard Dog drone and heavy weaponry. And, if one were to look on...certain flag-waving sites...one could find 'convincing replicas' of GW miniatures that can be 3d printed.

This community manager's takeover of the Battletech Subreddit and Discord wasn't some sneaky, behind-the-scenes thing that the company wasn't aware of. She was HIRED by CGL specifically to do it. CGL wants to "fix" the fan-base to be more in line with the vast, teeming, chomping-at-the-bit-to-spend-money "modern audience" that's been avoiding the franchise because of all the conservative types infesting the fan-base. Look how well it's worked for Star Wars and Star Trek (and terminator and Dr. Who and Indy and Willow and Transformers and Tomb Raider and Marvel comics and DC . . . )

I had an attempted Marxist takeover of my Discord server back in 2020. The irritation around the election season caused one of my former friends to talk around with a few others until he found other Marxists. From there, he had grouped with them in the server and started DMing me that I should ban all the right wingers in the server, including the libertarian ones. They were being incredibly toxic and demandy, especially to me when I would try to stay neutral. Ironically, it was a liberal they were going to let stay. Take that how you will. 😂 Anyway, instead of banning my friends I made the hard decision of banning the Marxists instead, which is how I think we have to fight this shit. Stand up to them and purge them like how they'd purge you. Now my small community of 150 friends are a haven from this culture war.

Happy that he is speaking up now, but I went through absolute hell after getting my Games/IT Degree just to get a job interview for a Quality Assurance position in a Games Company that does existing Game Ports onto other platforms. I failed to get the position in 2017 but saw on a private FB-group in 2018 that these people in Games Industry are activists.
As a person who has experienced this first-hand, I will explain how these things actually happen: ___ First off, the majority of Marxists are feminists. Marxism is a popular left-wing ideology and over 70% of women identify as leftists. What happens is as follows: A product either becomes popular, receives a fair degree of marketing or the company hires a consulting firm for the purposes of marketing a product to a particular demographic. At some point, the company (who is almost always ignorant of culture-war and wokeness) sets out to make the product "inclusive" to maximize sales. These "consultants" are brought in to review the product and recommend changes as needed. Because the aim is "diversity" and "Inclusivity", *these consultants are almost 100% of the time (black) women or gay men/trans-women,* as they are now considered the face of "diversity, equity and inclusion" *(DEI).* These groups recommend politically-motivated changes, as well as hiring other activist organizations, greatly expanding the development of said product. The company or investors are told (routinely) that, *while there will be some criticisms of these changes,* the product will largely be successful. These investors/companies; *who do not know their fanbase or are afraid of social backlash* agree to the changes. The product either tanks with its intended market or does not meet sales expectations, and these activist groups quickly take to social media to do damage control while having internal discussions about next steps. They are then either quietly fired, resign (after they are paid for their "services") or kept on for future releases until another situation leads to the previously mentioned scenario. ___ I have seen this happen (twice) in real-time, I was in a company when this happened. Also, when these activists leave companies/projects, they rebrand or join other companies and will outright lie on resumes and things like that. They will also outright lie to gain control of the direction of development. ___ *EDIT:* There is a solution to this and it's not "leave", running away is not a solution. The solution is to "fight back", something gamers do not do. The reason that this is happening is because gamers (as a collective) do not fight for shit. They complain or run away and expect that to fix the issue. These activists *FIGHT* for what they want and you normies *DO NOTHING* about it, some of you even support it. For example, *ALL* of you supported JKR and Hogwarts because you incorrectly thought she was some anti-woke freedom fighter. A good thing about Model trains is that it is fairly hard to infiltrate. Same goes for most minaturism such as war diorama or others that does not stop at ready made models and does not have a monopoly dictating how the hobby is enjoyed ( cough Warhammer 40 K ), because it requires you to put a large amount of time and skill into something apolitical in order to have anything that gives you a platform in the community. Delayed gratification hobbies and masculine hobbies also lacks an appeal to these people.

I'm not sure there's anything that can be done unless most of the fans agree and boycott. If you're a tabletop 40k player, just refuse to play against a femstodes, for instance. But again that requires that you are the majority.

To be honest, the Catalyst Battletech forums have always been a place for nepotism and toxicity, particularly from the moderators. You show them wjere you've been harassed in a screenshot, and if it's someone on their friends list, or if they agreed with the perpetrator, they'd let it ride and ban the victim. I left after a row with their upper echelon, even after Weisman himself got involved to try and calm things down. I appreciate his efforts, but he needed to get rid of that toxic bunch, they were terrible and Im more than sure they're the same bunch allowing this current era politics in to ruin the game.

I was the lead moderator for the facebook Space Opera group for years, taking it from around 2k up to around 20k by the time I turned the reigns over to the other mods. We had a very strict no politics rule, excepting only the politics discussed within the work itself. No real-world contemporary politics. One warning, then banned. When we did ban someone, there was a post describing the orbital strike that took them out :) Some of those were pretty funny too. Regardless, it was effective and kept the group as apolitical as possible. I bowed out in 2018 as I'd taken a job that didn't give me as much slack time as previously AND, honestly, I could see just how devisive Star Trek Discovery was going to be. I didn't realize that was the least of our worries at the time :)

It's because these people for 1: have control of the education system, meaning they have a large influence on the people who will go to work in these companies, 2nd: they have the backing of massive investment funds that promote them in order to get their political projects implemented, 3rd: these people are true believers in the ideology. Its essentially a religion to them and will follow it even if it burns the company down. And 4th: they have the backing of anti-discrimination laws that make any gatekeeping against them basically illegal. To fix these issues, we must first fix academia and law.

Sarna aka the most popular battletech wiki is also following the steps of this community manager. I've been avoiding that site but looking up anything battletech is quite troublesome. Same with Nexus mod, I've been avoiding it but it means getting any mod requires word of mouth and tracking down the modder's site/git if it even exists outside of Nexus.

Now that you're making a game of your own you probably understand the value of having a personal and direct line to your customers. As soon as some filter gets in between the two is when issues start to arise. Not to mention that subversive types will always target any such filter positions. Considering it's now easier than ever I'd say that every creator should do exactly this: Have a direct line of communication with their customers. No managers, PR, journalists, etc. Bypass all filters and only use unmoderated (as much as such a thing is possible) platforms. Which is another issue as well, the subversives will also target moderator positions in order to shape what appears to be the popular narrative.
