Critical thinking (and a bit of scepticism) is useful for identifying the underlying, illogical foundation. Unfortunately, that is the harder thing to do and often many will trust that someone else has done the critical thinking for them...

  • If you pause, Zach's arrest took place in 2002, so over 20 years ago. The irony of Logan, of all people, using one indiscretion from years ago to argue that someone is bad/untrustworthy is so rich I think it gave me diabetes...   • Fair and well thought out criticism as per usual. In this day and age, obfuscation is the go-to play for these scammers; these people who are innately dishonest. They can't help it. It's who they are. Sadly, social media allows these people to thrive.   • When Coffee said "you can't even hatch?", he was talking specifically about eggs bought with Etherium, which is also what the "fine print" there was referencing. Everyone keeps missing this detail.

    • He also said in the video that "The hatching worked at one point but was then pulled because it was too buggy". He completely addressed the Etherium side of things and the main coins differences. 2 different systems. Hatching only worked perfectly for one side for some amount of time. Maybe they fixed it before the vids came out but Logan also didn't say anything about the problem of attaining their yields either. "There was no way to attain your yield". Has that been fixed Logan? Regardless this all mattered AT LAUNCH. Who cares if it works now if they all lost their money at launch?

    • Don’t feel too bad: the tactics Logan used are designed to be persuasive, to make you think as little as possible about what he’s saying and get you to nod along in agreement. If you want to start working on your analytical skills, I suggest doing exactly what Ludwig does here: after every statement or so, pause whatever video it is you’re watching and take a moment to think over what was just said. Process it, question it. Does it make sense? Is it accurate? Is it trying to convince you of something? If so, what? Is it even relevant to the main point being made? Analytical skills are something that have to be practiced, just like any other skill. I hope this helps you develop yours :)

    • Scam implies he got monetary gain out of it. He didn't. What Logan Paul did, wasn't a scam. It was poorly organized, recruited, rushed project. Logan Paul should be held accountable for that - irresponsibility and incompetence. Not for monetary scam. Coffezilla should be held accountable for the poor amateur journalism - he redirected story into a biased direction to attract higher attention. "Incompetence and irresponsibility" doesn't sell as a good as "scamming". Small investors should be held accountable for their poor risk management and finance handling. Yet, source of that can be found in human basic intelligence. And you cant really hold accountable someone for being stupid. Just feel pity for him.

  • The only thing Logan brought to the table with this video is that the phone call was illegal. Yet it wasnt because Coffee lives in Texas which is a one-party consent state, and federal law states the jurisdiction of where the recording device is located is the law that applies.

    • The only issue is that we don't know where Jeff was during the time of the call. If he was in California then there's a chance he'd get sued because often the case would go to the stricter state (as per the video by Shafer). HOWEVER, a journalist asking for comment gives reasonable ground to believe that ANYTHING that the person in question would say would be on record.
