@@125conman it is useful, for sure. The insidious thing about logical fallacies is that they masquerade as being logical! Critical thinking (and a bit of scepticism) is useful for identifying the underlying, illogical foundation. Unfortunately, that is the harder thing to do and often many will trust that someone else has done the critical thinking for them...
I literally used a strategy like Logan’s back in middle school to win a fake legal argument against other kids in my class and I got the votes from the other kids in the class to win 😂. Super dumb but effective

Those text conversations are what's known as "securities fraud" Also Logan didn't have to sell his tokens, he got the Egg money. He made over a million dollars in eth from that rug pull without selling a token. It's crazy that this stuff is so complicated that felonies get lost in the details.

Fair and well thought out criticism as per usual. In this day and age, obfuscation is the go-to play for these scammers; these people who are innately dishonest. They can't help it. It's who they are. Sadly, social media allows these people to thrive. But in the same vein, we have honest and intelligent people on social media (Ludwig for example) who can expose dishonest people for who they are. Fair game.

When Coffee said "you can't even hatch?", he was talking specifically about eggs bought with Etherium, which is also what the "fine print" there was referencing. Everyone keeps missing this detail.
He also said in the video that "The hatching worked at one point but was then pulled because it was too buggy". He completely addressed the Etherium side of things and the main coins differences. 2 different systems. Hatching only worked perfectly for one side for some amount of time. Maybe they fixed it before the vids came out but Logan also didn't say anything about the problem of attaining their yields either. "There was no way to attain your yield". Has that been fixed Logan? Regardless this all mattered AT LAUNCH. Who cares if it works now if they all lost their money at launch?

Because yes, celebrities can't read or answer every direct message on social media. THAT'S WHY MANAGERS EXIST. If they refuse an interview, that's on them. If they should have, according to Logan, then his manager screwed up - not Coffeezilla. By contacting the manager and then sending a DM is more than enough from the POV of journalistic integrity - if Logan's personal contact information like email or phone isn't public, you go through managers. But he did pull punches. The scam around the June buy-in isn't even mentioned. That was the actual scam -- the NFTs, game, etc. was all window dressing to get to that moment when they could monopolize the coins early then have a 2nd shadow launch and sell at enormous profits into the hype. He didn't care about anything up to that point. He got into bed with scammers to scheme that, then was shocked that his fellow scammers never intended to pay a dime to devs. Or that they were secretly buying more on the June launch than they were supposed to. Or that they were secretly selling more than they were supposed to on the shadow / public launch date.
Not gonna lie Ludwig man you opened my eyes and made me realize a crucial flaw in myself. I completely let whatever Logan said just fly past me not analyzing much of what was said and was almost saying that he actually has good facts in his video. But you showed me how dumb I am and I definitely need to work on my analytical skills in order to dissect information thats fed to me so that I don't just get blindly swayed by the idiot out there on the internet

Don’t feel too bad: the tactics Logan used are designed to be persuasive, to make you think as little as possible about what he’s saying and get you to nod along in agreement. If you want to start working on your analytical skills, I suggest doing exactly what Ludwig does here: after every statement or so, pause whatever video it is you’re watching and take a moment to think over what was just said. Process it, question it. Does it make sense? Is it accurate? Is it trying to convince you of something? If so, what? Is it even relevant to the main point being made? Analytical skills are something that have to be practiced, just like any other skill. I hope this helps you develop yours :)
It's always easy to take the side you're already on. That's is why we usually believe the first source we hear, specially if it's someone we trust. So anyone that can realize and admit they were being deceived is already ahead of the curve.

The funny part about Logan's response is that he could have spoken directly to coffeezilla about this when he tried reaching out to him. Logan Paul and his manager HAD THE CHANCE. They literally chose not to tell their side of the story only to then accuse Stephen of lying.

Also his weird take of "you contacted my manager before me"? I'm about 99% sure most managers are supposed to take calls for you. Or at minimum, relay the call/messages they got to you. That's part of your job as a celeb/influencer manager. How else was he supposed to contact you if he's blocked, probably on a few platforms, with no public or surefire direct way to contact you? Answer: Manager.
@@whoahanant yep, the whole point of having an agent / manager / business email / moderators / PO Box is that acts as a buffer so someone else can filter/sort/vett the incoming stuff, respond/act on behalf and/or flag anything particularly interesting. Reaching out to Logan's manager is effectively the same thing as reaching out to Logan. His manager is his agent and is allowed to speak for him to some extent. They're allowed to do basic shit like respond to communications from the Media.

Logan did a nice bait-n-switch. Coffeezilla was talking about the eggs not being able to hatch crosschain on ETH, which logan even validates by saying, "it was working at some point." But Logan mainly points to the claim that eggs werent able to hatch on their native chain, when no one said that they couldn't.
Yes I think it's taken out of context because IIRC he was talking about a specific person and his ability to hatch.

One thing I learned from my dad having his own company is that at the end of the day, it is the owner’s fault. If your employee has a royal f up, as the owner you take the blame and apologize. You hired the person, which means you vouched for them.
Most often, that's how it works, too. At least in agency law. Without direct stipulations there is some legislature in business law that CAN push blame solely on the agent, but at least from our 30,000 ft. view it looks like Logan is responsible for hiring the criminals lol.

Scam implies he got monetary gain out of it. He didn't. What Logan Paul did, wasn't a scam. It was poorly organized, recruited, rushed project. Logan Paul should be held accountable for that - irresponsibility and incompetence. Not for monetary scam. Coffezilla should be held accountable for the poor amateur journalism - he redirected story into a biased direction to attract higher attention. "Incompetence and irresponsibility" doesn't sell as a good as "scamming". Small investors should be held accountable for their poor risk management and finance handling. Yet, source of that can be found in human basic intelligence. And you cant really hold accountable someone for being stupid. Just feel pity for him.

The only thing Logan brought to the table with this video is that the phone call was illegal. Yet it wasnt because Coffee lives in Texas which is a one-party consent state, and federal law states the jurisdiction of where the recording device is located is the law that applies.

The only issue is that we don't know where Jeff was during the time of the call. If he was in California then there's a chance he'd get sued because often the case would go to the stricter state (as per the video by Shafer). HOWEVER, a journalist asking for comment gives reasonable ground to believe that ANYTHING that the person in question would say would be on record.
