    • @Leo D'Arcy You are right - somehow. He served his time, came back and just didn't like to talk about it anymore. He didn't cry in front of cameras and became an advodact of clean cycling, that's true. He's highly respected in the pro peloton tho, one of the most respected riders for sure (you can see that when he wins a race and how others speak about him). He's known to be very humble. I think there is more than one side to this story.

I didn't have time to watch the race, so I don't have time to watch insanely long highlights. They're doing it in cycling now, already doing it in soccer as well...I don't want 15 minutes of highlights of a 90 minute match!

    • ah i was watching and saw that and was surprised the commentators didn’t mention anything. i kept mumbling to myself “didn’t they ban that?”. it woulda been weird not to disqualify him for that. it’s a weird rule only because it’s new but i don’t think this rule ruins racing; there are a lot of things banned that otherwise make the bike or the rider faster, in fact that’s what makes pro cycling: the rules. otherwise it’s just a group ride.

    • @@jonatanleandoer9006cause you are gonna get every race marred by riders getting banned after the race for racing. For most riders it's part of descending at speed. Your also giving an even bigger advantage to groups that are chasing and less of an advantage to the breakaway and that will hurt the sport in my opinion.

  • Pogacar and Alaphilippe, two of the best sprinting for the line, amazing finish. Both riders are so young that we have many years of looking forward to watching these two battle it out. Meanwhile, Roglic didn't have the legs...again. I would never count him out, but he seems outclassed lately. Should be an interesting Tour this year.

Roglic literally beat pogacar at tour of the Basque Country by a minute, would’ve won Paris-nice if not for his crashes and almost won Flèche despite sprinting for the line early and you’re saying he’s been outclassed because he didn’t have the legs to be in the lead group today?
