    • Not at all really. All the top tennis pro’s when fit take part in the major tournaments, unlike cycling where they pick and choose what races they ride. Even if TP, MVDP, WVA, Remco had all been fit this spring they probably would not have entered more than two of the same races. The sport badly needs a shake-up.

    • I don’t believe for one second that Pog is doping. Look, how is that he is the only one in team UAE that is winning the big races? That means that no other rider in his team is doping. Now, if you are in team UAE and clean, are you going to bust your balls each race so that a doper is the one winning everything? BTW, who in the cycling world with creditably is accusing Pogačar of getting any “help”?

But--especially with tiny, narrow roads like they ones they were on that point--only so many people can be out front at one time. Not the riders' fault since they have zero input on course design. They ride wherever the race directors make them ride... no matter how dangerous that place is. (Just ask Jonas, Remco, Jay, Primoz, etc--who all just had their 2024 season ruined by bad course design in the Basque country two weeks ago.)
