AIR FRYER BREAD |Multi-Purpose Dough Part 2|Soft Dinner Rolls

• MULTI -PURPOSE DOUGH |...
✔️Multi-Purpose Dough
1 whole egg [60 grams]
3 tbsp sugar [38 grams]
2 tsp instant yeast [6 grams]
1 cup fresh milk [240 ml] (lukewarm)
1/4 cup oil (any cooking oil)
3 cups all purpose flour [405 grams]
1/2 tsp salt [3 grams]
✅Air fry @ 125 C (260F) for 10 mins. or add up time if it needs it.
Air fryer Model: Philips HD9200/91 4.1 Liter
NOTE:
1. Cooking / Baking time & temp may vary on the type and size of air fryer so alter it accordingly.
2. Pre-heat the air fryer if preferred.
2. The bread gets browned only on top & its bottom may look pale/white since the heating element of a regular air fryer is only on top. If preferred, the bread can be flipped once its top has turned brown then bake/fry for another few minutes until it's brown. Air frying the bread for longer time without flipping it may result to a toasted top crust.

Tried this in my Ninja double oven air fryer, best bread yet, though think the cooking times are a bit low and too short. My best result was 160C for 13 mins, came out brilliantly. Also I added a little extra salt 3/4 tsp was good, thanks for the recipe awesome...

I only have active dry yeast. Can I dissolve it first in warm milk to add after 10 minutes?

@@vegangelist from what ive learned, bread flour is actually better than all purpose- all purpose has less gluten percentage and bread flour has more so any is fine (bread flour is actually preferable)

Thank you, this is the second time baking these buns. This time I've forgotten the egg wash. They are still great! Adjusted temp and baking time slightly, for our Chefman air fryer (more like a glorified toaster oven). This time, they were shaped into 8 flatter, round "burger" buns, baked in 2, 8x8 pans. Very happy to have your excellent tutorial.

@@widadwy5850 that's a good question! I've used both "Air fry" and "bake" settings. There may be a difference but honestly I can't tell. Maybe if they were side by side? Try it and report back!

I just made a batch of sour dough baguettes in.the ninja dual air fryer. I turned the baguettes half way through and they came out better than a normal oven
Just made this and it tastes really good! Just that I did some things abit different. Instead of 3 Tbsp of sugar, I measure 38grams of caster sugar which came up to 2 Tbsp. I thought it tasted just nice. More would have been too sweet for me. Also, at 125C 10mins was too short. So I moved it up to 140C and still needed about 18mins before it became golden brown. Might be because I am using a different air fryer
Love my air fryer, I have never tried bread though. Great tutorial, motivating me to make one pretty soon!

hi, it's ok:) 1. yes, you can replace milk with lukewarm water. 2. Instant dry yeast works either on liquid at room temp or at warm temp. But yeast works best at lukewarm liquids. 3. Almond milk will do,a s long as it is not far from the consistency of fresh milk it will work without altering the measurement of ingredients in this recipe. For milk with creamier or thicker consistency will result to a denser dough so the proportion of liquid or flour needs to be slightly adjusted. 4. Bread flour is higher in protein thus produce a strong gluten, resulting to a light, airy with slight chewiness on bread You can generally swap bread flour for apf & same results can be achieved too using APF but may vary on the proportion on ingredients. 5. Definitely you can use active yeast, it just need an extra process before it can be used in a recipe You need to bloom the yeast first by mixing it in a lukewarm liquid with a small amount of sugar then wait until it's foamy.
The cold milk slowed down the rise. I had to do a longer proof.

Can I prepare the dough the night before to bake in the morning? How do I store them? In the refrigerator or freezer? Would I have to adjust time and temperature? It looks like a wonderful recipe!
You can do it 2 ways. Make the dough and then put in the fridge covered overnight then next day shape, rise again and bake. Or shape the dough into either buns or bread, put in the fridge covered. Take out next day and rise then bake. I proof my dough overnight in the fridge all the time without failing. No adjusting of anything.

Today, I tried with Nutella in the centre and it was perfect. Freeze it before you put it in, you will be saved from the mess.

Followed the recipe exactly, but found I had to keep adding some flour as I was kneading as it was so wet 😟 Waiting for it to proof now so fingers crossed I haven't overworked it and it'll turn out okay 🤞

@@lubnahakeem3738 it was a disaster! It turned out so dense and it didn't even double in size when I was proofing the dough. The video didnt state heat up the milk, I think this might be the reason? But I had to add so much extra flour that may also have added to the problem too 🙁 How did yours turn out??

@@s.f2348 I haven't made it a second time yet. But the one tip is to warm up the milk so it's luke warm (not too hot or you may kill the yeast and won't rise!) and start to knead by hand first as I put it in my machine and it stuck to the bowl and was so messy! But other than that if it's wet just add flour little by little as you're kneading. Good luck and hope it turns out well for you.. Let me know how you get on 😁

hi, 1. yes you can replace oil with butter using the same amount. 2. You can trim to half the amount of yeast & salt & Egg or you may use a small sized egg.

Hi lovlies..so I am from Trinidad and Tobago (Google it😊) I tried this recipe 3 times since I viewed it last week...I tripled the recipe this morning for breakfast my family absolutely loves it!!!❤❤❤ I uses the GOURMIA Airfrier @350F for 15..and I turned it over so the bottom can get colour as well. This morning I bakes at the same temp in the conventional oven..same perfection. I also don't use plain white flour so I mixed cracked wheat this morning and I also used 1:2 ratio WW to White. Tried this tonight and 10 minutes is too short, so I changed it to 13 minutes and 155°C and turned out well. About the taste, I think you need to add a little bit more salt.
