  • I'm a mechanical engineer from Germany and I keep watching different mechanic videos from Pakistan. As a hobby in my free time I have been repairing cars, tractors, motorcycles and small engines all my life. I am absolutely delighted with your work there and your videos spur me on more and more to dare more and more difficult repairs. I think it's great what you're doing. Anyone can throw something away, repairing a machine over many years and continuing to operate it is a much higher art than spending a lot of money on new ones. Many of my work colleagues are also enthusiastic about your videos.

And now an engine rebuild with torque wrenches and feeler gauge. New crankshaft. And several other new parts. The big guy knows his way around an engine. Definitely one of the better rebuilds I have watched on this channel. Now all they need is a posh out of sight guarantee sticker. Made for enjoyable viewing.

Using power tools does not mean that you are a good or bad mechanic, infect its smart to use them when they are available in order to save time and energy, Mechanic skills and capabilities are not in the tools, it's in your head if you have them. Power tools aren't gifted by Aliens, they are human-made tools for their comfort and more officiant work. Don't forget that the Bulldozer is also a large power tool.

Anything that has multiple bolts (fasteners) should be torqued in a star pattern instead of one bolt after another. This is even more important when installing circular items and the reason is to guarantee components are flush to the surface evenly. I enjoy your videos and keep up the great work.

    • @@johnkoury1116 how feasible is that? I know they repair broken crankshafts but they’re usually not this big are they? How would you get weld penetration or is the center of the journal still going to be cracked? I guess you could grind out a bevel but you might as well just make a new journal at that point.

These guys just make do with what they have & still do quality work. & here i am thinking i was the only one who welded a piece of reo-bar to a spanner .lol Got to love your job, Some of those bolts were so tight & i was thinking any minute now snap ! The 2 main mechanic's are worth there weight in gold.! Over all everyone involve did a great job & you should be very proud of yourselves

  • Absolutely riveting and glad to say it wasn't ruined by 40 zillion adverts. I watched every second end to end without distraction and I can't praise the work enough. I just wished these guys painted the block and shot blasted the parts (ok it adds to the expense a little) but then it looks so much more professional. If you received a totally reconditioned engine you would be falling over yourself to pay and these guys deserve every single rupee they earn...... unbelievable, really fantastic
