Working on this heavy stuff in flip flops and PJ's, massive respect !!
Non..e.datutti....con...isandali....🇮🇹👍🖐️🇮🇹
За что респект-то ? Ботинки сложно старые надпть, что-ли ? И подол у пижамы ножницами обрезать. И трещину нужно ллифмашинкой разделать, прежде, чем варить
I love those safety sandals...
За идиотизм ?

I dont know about the "expert" portion......but doing what needs to be done, with very few tools / resources.....YES! Cheers !
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
Driver must be Union....he operates the dozer and holds the breaker pipe.
I'd say that home-made wheel puller was made by experts.
TEAMWORK NICELY DONE. Everyone has a job ..well done.
My favorite part is where the guy is inspecting the shiny new tapered roller bearing to make sure its clean and undamaged, and then he throws it in the dirt.
Yeah, me too!
Back breaking work on a bulldozer that's 60+ years old ! My respect for all of them and bless them to be safe.

I am always in AWE when I watch these guys tackle these Huge Jobs with nothing but breaker bars and hand tools and it is truly incredible to see~!! Every time I see someone cry about not having power tools and dozens of battery operated wrenches and gander cranes I wish they would have to spend a tour with these guys~! I have mad respect for their efforts. Subscribed today and best of luck to them~!

Why do you care? Your comment is stupid. You think they’re great well nothings stopping you from working just like them since you think it’s somehow better
Right, we should all aspire to be literally dirt poor mechanics in Pakistan who can't even afford a welding helmet, and probably make as much in a year as an American mechanic makes in a week. If you want to break your back for pennies a day, go join them- some people try to actually build a better industry and working environment so that people have options other than to die in completely preventable mishaps, or live with broken backs from working hard labor from the age of 9.
Three big blokes talk while bouncing up and down on a long lever - definition of a talk wrench.
When I get to feeling down or depressed, all it takes is one of these awesome videos to set me straight!!!!!
I'll never complain about any of our technical advancements ever again,...watching this, makes me understand how lucky we are here, in the Western world.
...so agree jack....all those rules and regulations we complain about, are there for a very good reason..
Love watching you guys working on machines as fixing them. Colin from Surrey England 👍
Love watching these guys work 👍👏❤
The guys skill at arc gouging with a 6013 rod is actually impressive.
Possibly a cuttrode
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
Don't think they cut out enough of the crack before rewelding it.
No worries it had just been done last week
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
One thing for sure, safety is not a high priority , or even a priority.
They did get back when using the hydraulic puller, just in case it went south
With nothing but a box of tools and elbow grease.... amazing.
i didnt know the torque spec for that spindle nut was 2 guys
With an 8' pipe.Shorter pipes give lower torque values.
Or three guys then back it off a quarter turn.
Experience. Experience . Experience.
Oh&s abounds, dust free area for parts, check. Torque specs check. How long might it last ?
Do you think this is the først dozer they repair? But of course - as always; WE are much better......or what? People who do things different than us are stupid.....or what?
But...... he didn't gouge out that crack - just welded over the top of it... guaranteed failure
he used the electrode to gouge
Look again. If that old weld hasn't been removed by about a half inch plus before he started welding again then I'm, and you, are blind. These guys do phenomenal repairs that in the western world would give you nightmares but they keep the stuff running at minimal costs. What amazed me is that they seemed to have the exact correct wrenching socket, puller adapters and special tools exactly when necessary so this was not their first trip around this block. They've been here before. Another thing that stood out is they all had shoes (safety?) on instead of Sandals.
Ya that's not gonna fail its melted like the sun
@@ronwilken521917.53 sandele
He used a gouging rod to burn out the old weld(s) before he did the redid the weld..
Can you imagine what their hospitals are like. Or their aircraft maintenance.
...or...anything to do with electricity...😳
Absolute respect for these guys and the work they do.
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
Measure it with a Micrometer, Mark it with Chalk, Cut it with a Torch
Excellent work and without a union rep nor OSHA nag insight.
Now watch some I C Weld equipment repair videos and compare prep and weld quality. He fixes much worse damage than that and does it properly.
30% Caterpillar, 70% ingenuity.
Great bunch of hard workers that everyone seems to know what they are doing and what to do to get the job done, This is hard work but I see smiles on their faces, A+++++ videos

The level of injuries in that place must be astronimical
Considering the popularity of this tool, it's not surprising that injuries relating to table saws reach a yearly record of over 30,000. You may not know, but this annual record is significantly higher than injuries caused by other power tools.
Not really they are aware
Those are the cleanest parts ever! Sand and dirt just fall off of them they are so dry! They haven't seen grease since the last time if failed.
23:16 This bearing looks great.....let me lay it here in the dirt for safe keeping!!!
It wouldn’t be Pakistan without every single part hitting the dirt at least once. A plan to have repeat customers ?.
While I don't recommend some of the repairs they do on critical mechanical parts this particular repair is justified. Stress fractures can usually be repaired with a welding repair.
I love the unhurried pace, good teamwork, no yelling.
i have tremendous respect for the work you gentleman do!!!!
Torque tightening specification: 180 ft. lbs. (or as tight as you can make it with two men standing on a breaker bar)
It is great to see these Guys get the job done with limited resources. Good job.
I’m not sure if that’s going to work more than a weekend. 😅
Much respect! In the USA that would have cost 20 k dollars plus another 20k for parts ..our USA mechanics are good just to change parts.
then you need to look more ... most people who run this size of equipment do the vast majority of repairs themselves or if something is a little to big they go to a more specialized shop that has the expertise and equipment like Cutting edge Engineering in Australia ... every medium-sized town has a blacksmith like that ... or many like that on one place workign together but that is usually cities and townships that have a lot of equipment to be able to make it feasable. Just today i was talking a guy named jason who works for the city as a heavy mechanic
You do realise that this "expert and magnificent repair technique" will probably only last a few hours....
@@jakebroesky4409 A CEE-A fan!!!! I'm watching the video and thinking what he would say about this. I think he'd have no problems with most of it other than their lack of keeping bearings as clean as possible.
All good until the welds break again, won't be long!
Very impressive THE skill involved, the use of very basic but exactly the tools needed. The use of the machines power to make it possible. But to me most of all the way the guys worked together as a team. Always moving in just at the right moment needed to help take the strain or fit the correct piece. Would have taken massively expensive and complicated workshop facilities to do the same task in one of the 'Developed' countries. Very impressive.
Yup, and they always seem to have time to have a laugh.
the skill of dismanteling the the wheel yes the actual repair weld 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Its a one person job in most developed countries. While maybe not as fast as you have 2-5+ guys on on task here vs one guy like cutting edge engineering you can see from australia, jesse mueller, andrew camarata, etc
very crude tools indeed but im impressed by them having an actual press tool that looks just about what we would use in western countries, i expected 5 guys with sledge hammers to bang on it for 20 mins
Wonder how much those apartments are going for ?? :)
The most professional thing about the repair was the call of the muezzin in the background 😂
that was a big job.well thought out, well done great team work.was proud to watch.thank you
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
A nice ,torquey , Milwaukee impact ,and sockets, and adapters, would pay for itself in a couple days. But.... let's keep doing it the hard, longer way, and above all, keep making babies! 😂
despite the back breaking work they still have the time and energy to make babies and not whine
@@nainitalism Exactly! Glad someone else notices.
Yep, and the babies learn that hard work keeps you fed and keeps a roof over your head! In good old USA we teach babies where to steal to buy drugs or where the food stamps can be traded for cigarettes and booze. And keep making more babies to get more welfare.
@@lorenrasmussen338 Yep, them 3rd world countries, have no problems! Glad someone pointed it out!
They clearly know how this machine works and how to fix it. Great job.
Excellent work, I take it the man in the clean green shalwar kameez is the boss !!
Great Job to those Who toil so hard in the Desert Sun.
There was under a quarter of an inch penetration on that weld so it’ll be back in the yard within a week. Not a problem though, as the bearing they threw in the dirt, re used and then knocked the granny out of it will fail well before then.
One day this sprocket will be 100% weld.
The best part was towards the end, the 2 guys underneath the front blade with no dunnage, no regard for safe practices whatsoever. O rings jammed in with screwdrivers, splines left dry as a fart, it could be picked apart all day long but it's working again for the time being, SMH...
Aqui no Brasil é no máximo 2 pra fazer um serviço desse! Patrão aqui judia do pião.
Proof fancy tools don’t make a mechanic great job guys
Very interesting and impressive! Outstanding team effort.
Excelente trabajo muy interesante los felicito 👍 👏
Of all the KZhead channels , these are undoubtedly the best and interesting , man meets mountain 💪🏽
Was he hammering on the inner ring of the bearings?
Eu tiro o chapéu pra vocês, são muito bons profissionais.
Nothing like fitting a new seal using the sharp end of a screwdriver. Don't grind out the crack, just weld over it. Wipe the old seals down, chuck them on the ground, soak them in oil and put them back in. Amazing work technique.
If you looked carefully you would have seen the welder arc gouge the crack/old weld. These guys know more about keeping worn out equipment in the field and making money/progress. Working on heavy equipment means a lot of make-do, not everyone has a Cat dealership right down the road. The screwdriver on the o-ring was on the back side non sealing surface of the ring. And it wasn’t a screwdriver it was an old valve. Make no mistake, these are good-old-boys who know exactly what they are doing.

@@petermoto409 I noticed they removed a lot of streel around the crack and then filled that space. Like the fact there are two or three masters, three journeymen and three apprentice labourers (and make-do tools) --- looks all good from my perspective.

Maybe I'm overly compulsive but how can they work with all that trash laying around on the ground?
In that part of the world population density is very high. Everything is expensive. Unlike European population that grew by same % but they did not go around the world occupying 30% of the land and bred comfortably with endless resources. Industrial revolution was possible bcoz of India being the active cash cow. Still is.

Bull wheel crack repair not likely to last. No gouging or prep before weld. Rod gouging is not the proper way to prep, but I guess it is better than none. No pre heating of large mass of steel before welding. Damn good thing they know how to remove it without much trouble as they will be doing it again soon. So many small things which would make the repairs last longer, but are either ignored or no understood why they are important.
they are not experts. they simply fry another layer on top of the last botched weld. why groove the last botched weld professionally? the customer just comes back in 14 days and then we do it again.
