  • It amazes me how these guys take engines apart with rudimentary tools along the side of the road in the dirt and remember where all the little nuts and bolts go and make that engine purr like a kitten!…I liked when the old guy came to do the reassembly with the young fellas and checked the clearance on the crank mains…teaching the young fellas!..and they all worked so hard at it!..there was no less than two guys on that engine at any given time and there was at least a half a dozen most of the time…I was glad to see they actually used a torque wrench when torquing the mains down…although I’m not sure if it would matter much because it looked like they reused the main and head bolts…anyways they did a great job!!

    • You always know a good engine builder when they spend the time to take measurements. I think he used plastigauge to check the mains which is an inexpensive but highly effect method. My respect to these guys !

    • Vielleicht wenn man die Umstände sieht. Ansonsten sieht eine Motorenüberholung anders aus. Einige Teile würden nicht wieder verbaut werden. Auch wird ein Motor in ein Gestell eingehängt. Alles sehr sehr abenteuerlich ....

    • Ну по сути они ничего такого не сделали. +- в россии так же на каленке ремонт проводят. У них все четко и по правилам. Даже динамометрическим ключом затягивают. Гильзы новые. Ваще четкие парни.

  • 22:38 I always boil my pistons over an open fire while adding just the right amount of seasoning !!!!!!!!!! They are super tender and very tasty......but I NEVER thought of cooking them in an solvent oil can for better flavor. I will give that a try next time. This channel is WAY better than any Gordon Ramsay site!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @@_Pretenderну, те що завівся - ніхто не знає скільки там дублів робили. .. Чи кращі наші? Принаймні є надія що витримані всі розміри, зазори, вага деталей і балансування. Про чистоту самих деталей і умови роботи - то взагалі трешак..))

На відміну від половини наши гаражних Уась, які по пів дня таскають на тросі "відремонтовані" двигуни, щоб їх завести! І да, я розумію відмінність між професійними ремонтом та ремонтом "на гаражах у дяді Уасі"! То ж тим роботягам просто респект за працьовитість, злагодженість, та тяжку працю В ТИХ умовах, які вони мають!
