I’ve had these for over two years and they perform as perfect as they did when I got them. I use them on Xbox and my pc. I have 0 complaints. I never experienced any of the issues listed in the video.
When you used them on Xbox did you change anything I’ve heard that the mic sounds bad if you don’t configure it or something is that true
@@lemonkey8625 no I used it for years both on Xbox one s and Xbox series x with the windows sonic setting. I paid the $12 for the Dolby headset app the sound improved on my end but my friends said I sounded the same. I gave this headset to my friend and I got the Hyper X cloud X wireless Xbox headset. My friend sounds perfectly fine to me and he’s using the series s and the windows sonic setting in the audio settings.

Change the volume up and down with the volume knob on the headset when you experience the channel imbalance thing, it might help. I have the GSP 300, I don't have the channel imbalance issue but sometimes while I'm turning the volume knob I hear this little popping sound near max volume and as I keep turning up it goes away, it's not a constant noise, it doesn't effect the sound and it's not a big deal but it's kind of annoying, so I don't know maybe that causes some problems. Other than that I'm quite happy with them but this is my very first gaming headset so I haven't used anything else.

About the all plastic part: I have Sennheiser HD-25 studio/dj headphones which i use mainly for gaming these days. They're also fully plastic but super flexible and super light. I have them since about 15 years now and they're still perfectly in shape, unlike some other sony headphones i used before where the joints would break easily after 1 or 2 years because they were made of very brittle plastic.

I've just bought one of these. Light as a feather. Sound is crisp and I like the no nonsense stereo it gives for an fps (I generally don't play single player games). The game generally takes care of the sound. My only problem is a faint hissing sound I'm getting from the mic. I've tried various settings on Windows 10 and I can get it sorted to a fairly acceptable level..... but not to the clear sound you've got @GNR Frank. How did you get that sorted out?
Fortunately i didn’t experience any of the hissing. Have you tried connecting it to a different port?
@@StreamGearTalk I tested it on my PS4 last night and works like a charm. No "white noise". I tried to plug them into another pair of ports as you suggested with the same results. But didn't give up and went back to re-fiddling with the microphone level and microphone boost settings and got it to a good level. I tried them on some mates online and they said the white noise had gone completely. So good news there! I've already lost some money on a silly decision to buy a wireless Coolermaster and had to sell it for half the price. It just didn't suit my sound requirements (too many settings, etc. - but my buyer seems really happy with it). I think that shows that we all have different opinions on good sound, etc. So, I was afraid now that I'd made the same mistake. What I like about this is that I've gone back to wired. Plug in and it works without software settings now. Never wireless again in this price range. Thanks for your suggestion!

How does this compare to the MH751, Black Shark V2 and CloudX 2?
I own a pair of Blackshark V2 and they perform better than the gsp. Equal mic quality though. This is roughly on par with the mh751 though the gsp has a better mic imo.
It wouldn't be a problem not to be non-detachable as long as it would fit into the headset, as it happens on some business headsets.

I had a really great set of these in the blue colour. My cat destroyed them. Got another pair in black and the mic gives awful white noise and my voice sounds buzzy. Can't fix it in settings. So disappointed. I'll swap them for another pair, hopefully it was just a faulty pair
I suppose this headset would be a decent upgrade from a razer kraken x? My razer kraken broke so I bought this. Did I make the right decision?
It’s better than the kraken x yes! But for the price there may have been other better options. However it’s all personal preference. Let me know what you think once you get them.

I know this is YOUR review. And I know this product is a few years old now. But why is your take away the complete opposite of everyone else I've watched who reviewed this? Everyone else is saying horrible microphone but everything else is decent. And I've heard them testing the mic. And yeah, it sounds like hot garbage. So I don't know how you say it's good?
