My mate John parked his Range Rover in his garden quite some time ago and my job is to bring it back to life… Thanks to my production pixies for wrangling this video into life and thanks to my brand partners who are supporting the channel.

41:33 - Season 1 Episode 5 "1986 Range Rover Part 3 & Electric Ice Cream Van Part 3": Back to a bit of wrestling with John’s ‘garden-find’ Range Rover; having sprayed fuel all over the workshop floor I now need to work out exactly where it is leaking from and whether the fuel lines can be repaired or if they’ll need to be replaced… Also, part three of the World’s Fastest Electric Ice Cream Van project; having removed the diesel engine, chosen the electric motor, and 3D scanned the mating faces I now need to work out how to connect the gearbox and motor shafts together so in this episode I explore the various components and how they could go together…

It’s true, it really does! It’s got serious rust and mud everywhere and today I’m attempting to tackle the rust in the fuel tank, as well as having an electrifying chat about Volt versus Current.

There was something in the news just over a week ago that a member of his family passed. So i would think thats priority right now. And yes some of the comments lately have been very insensitive.

i hear what others say about the short post on the community section, but I just can't think that Edd is reading anybody's comments on the main channel, or he would surely post something to let us all know what was going on. Strange really, and I think there are thousands of us that expect a little bit more.

Like so many others, whilst I sympathise with any challenges going on and would be happy to wait for new content, I really have had enough of this constant re-uploading of old content. Maybe someone thinks it keeps the channel current or something, but for me and lots like me judging by the comments, it just has a negative effect. I really am thinking of unsubscribing, I’m certainly not wasting time viewing or liking these repeats (yes I do release a comment helps too but not sure how to avoid that!)

I’m sure the new content will be worth it, I am an experienced restorer myself (recent items include a bare shell rebuild on a Stag and also an MGB GT) but still find useful tips in your videos, and still use several of your “top tips” from the WD days!

ed, i dont know who is behind the scheduling of this channel but please dont listen to them in regarding just recyling old videos and putting them out. this is not TV. if there is problem with new production, just come out with a video explaning about it. it could be you ,yourself or someone else on the team. some channels can go for months without a new video but people are willing to wait just because they trust the person to come back with new content. so please for the love of God do not recycle these old videos as new one.

In all respect instead of the recycled videos that is making people frustrated 1 5 min video with quick update and even if you said nothing new for 5 weeks people would appreciate it step back and wait weeks for the juicy fresh stuff they can watch reruns at there own free will in the mean time if they wish. Wow!!! you have the most patience and amazing problem solving skills that I've ever seen in automotive repairs... in repair conditions that most mechanics would not touch with a 10 ft pole ...and without a fling or missing a beat to acomplish the end result... amazing fortitude while repairing an older vehicle that is almost ready for the crusher to give it a second chance with your genius ingenuity to repair a great used vehicle with minimal money invested yes! 👏👌

I want to remain positive, so please take this as constructive criticism. I was hoping that given the “Range Rover” specific title it would be all of the Range Rover specific clips edited together to bring a more project focused longer form video. With that being said, can you take out the electric ice cream van clips. Again, I don’t want to be negative. I love the amount of detail, easy to understand explanations, and the restoration/refurbishment of parts rather than just getting all new stuff, but please…if you are going to label it a “Range Rover” specific video…keep it Range Rover focused.
Please stop using old footage and editing recordings differently. Making a announcement with when there will be new content posted will be more appreciated. I hope that you will be back soon with new content.

This is becoming rather annoying. I'm unsubbing
Great in depth fix which would not feature in a Wheeler dealer’s format. Hopefully more to come but with extracts of segments previously shown titled differently. It would be an idea to rename the complete video with say “Ed’s Director cut series 1 ” (i.e. complete video) and for sections like testing electric or fuel pump or how things work/experiments or any top tips in shorter videos with the appropriate title e.g. Series 1 chapter 1 and so on. This would make it clearer to existing and new viewers. I know there is a lot of work behind the scene to upload a video
I definitely would have spent the cash for a new tank. Although they may not be available so it is informative for those cases.

Hi Edd at 11:30 that fuel that comes out is degraded fuel can you tell about degraded fuel and what happens over time to fuel and how long it takes.
At around 1:50 I keep seeing the cinematographer showing the brake master. All I’m thinking is if you accidentally hooked them up to the brakes and had to redo all this hard work.😢
