0:00 - Season 1 Episode 16 "1986 Range Rover; Will it start?": 'Will it start?' is THE question we have all been wondering about since John's garden find 1986 Range Rover was pushed into the workshop! Having already installed some custom-made fuel lines and a new fuel filter, this week's job is to install a new fuel pump and sender into our freshly de-rusted fuel tank and then get that tank re-attached to the car. Surely once the fuel is flowing the engine will start?... Or will we find something else that needs to be fixed first?...
24:50 - Season 1 Episode 19 "Why is there chocolate sauce in the Range Rover gearbox?": The day has finally come, our 1986 Range Rover is finally going to get clean. But will it make a difference, will we be able to tell at all with all that rust and peeling paint? Will the car still be carbon neutral if we wash off all the vegetation? Will it fall apart if we remove all the cobwebs? Will it simply dissolve when the water hits it? Well, we're about to find out. Surely, now it runs and it's clean, it will be ready for its MoT test. Or will we find something else that needs to be fixed first?... (Fixing the perished Range Rover brake pipe, should the brake pipe really look like a wet twig?) Just one more thing to fix before we can take our 1986 Range Rover out onto the road and to its MoT test - is this really it? Well, we're about to find out. Surely, now that it runs and it's clean, it's got the drive and hopefully brakes that work, it will be ready for its MoT test. Or will we find yet more things that need to be fixed first?...
01:34:59 - Season 1 Episode 22 "Tesla vs Range Rover; up a steep hill...": Not really a fair race but while driving the Range Rover to the MoT station for its date with destiny I had a bit of a tangle with a Tesla. Edd China's Workshop Diaries 22: Driving 'Moss' Daisy to the MoT station & Fixing the wiring on a trailer & Adding some bling to the mezzanine. Driving 'Moss Daisy to the MoT station turns out to be a little more eventful than planned. Then, with the filthy 4x4 out of the workshop I also take the opportunity to get some other jobs ticked off my ever-growing list: I track down and fix a wiring issue on my car transporter trailer (a Brian James Race Transporter 6) and then I go upstairs to finish a job on my hang out space - the mezzanine's stainless steel balustrade. Stainless steel balustrade supplied by SWR Balustrade in Hemel Hempstead. Curved handrail bent by T+T Tubecraft in Woking.

Why your show is great but the content for 4 months plus has been weak you are so much better than this . I'm a massive fan for wheeler series 1 to workshop diaries but new content is so badly needed now sir.

Enjoying them for the first time, some judicious cutting of say the longeurs of fuel line threading, might be worthwhile. I don’t know if this RR is worth the effort perhaps something like a Maserati next!

Edd, last time we saw this RR it was separated from the chassis and laser cleaned and all, what happened?
Just putting up a few recaps and trying out different formats to see what will work best in the future. The next stage on the RR is to de-rust the chassis in a near-magical liquid and then for a good old-fashioned galvanising dip!

I agree, with the others that said I am staying subscribed just to see if he ever returns, he has a production crew that films and edits this, so Edd or the crew should be able to say, Edd's too busy now, or someone died, or he's stuck on a tropical island with Mike Brewer, and there will be a fight to the death...with his sponsors and the amount of subscribers and views, he is making a good chunk of change from this channel, so I cant imagine being too busy to be honest with his subscribers to keep them. He has made at least 1 Instagram post within the last month, and his sidekick Paul has made posts also, so there is lots of opportunities to connect with his subscribers...[that's why I believe the, stuck on an island with Brewer scenario...]

Jan 2024, just watched this after your interview with the great pair of leather armchairs & his with Mr MB. You should have a look at Andrew Camaratas castle or Lr time for some inspiration on working from home. You mention the wife but we dont get to see her, Hammonds venture isnt paying but farming seems to be where the real money is. Even Ants pants and the soviet tractors home workshop builds are more productive. After 2 yrs in retirement we need to move on. All the best happy new year. GP. Nr Southwold Suffolk.

Amazing videos and Edd is a magician. Just one question. Should the brakes not be bled firstly from the wheel furthest away from the ABS "box" rather than the master cylinder especially when they are on the opposite side of the vehicle? Thank you

How is this rr going to pass an mot with rotten out riggers I’d be looking to see if it worth repairing before I’d start any work on this car
It's all gloriously grubby, basic and agricultural, but at least it's possible to 're-engineer' a car of this vintage in a home garage/workshop with a set of regular tools, a Haynes manual, a bit of patience and a mug of tea. Can you imagine trying to do even a simple restoration job on a modern Range Rover? Yikes! I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but it'd be a nightmare of tamper-proof seals, special 'main dealer only' tools, factory-sealed emissions systems and encrypted electronic control units...
