WILL IT RUN??
Hi everyone, in this episode we are trying to get the Barn Find Range Rover Classic to run again! Will it run??
Some background:
My friend Johan owns this old Range Rover Classic that has been sitting for about 10 (probably 13) years in a barn. They used it as a daily driver until they put it away and it has been sitting since. Now it's time to bring it back to life...
Hope you will find it interesting and enjoy the video!

Great job, it runs. By the way did any ever tell you that you look like Magnum Pi?
Amazing work! And fantastic that you managed to bring the car back to life again!
Thank you Johan! Yes, that feeling when it fired up 😍
A friend and I here in Miami are doing the same sort of repairs on our RRCs these videos help a lot. Mine is 1990, his is 1995 - Thanks for the detailed videos of your step by step repairs. Good Luck with your trucks - looking good.
Wow! I’m happy to hear that my videos can contribute with some guidance 🥹 just contact me if you have any questions and I’ll try to help as much as I can! Any instagram where you post your progress? Good luck to you as well!
Nice one Henrik, well done. They like a drop of fuel. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you! Yes, seem to do the trick 😊👍🏼
hello mate, we've just checked out your channel, great content!!! thanks for your suggestion with our range rover classic, we'll definitely check it out, good luck with the build...oh and we've just subscribed to your channel!
Thank you! and Thank you for subscribing, hope you'll get the RRC running :) And also, remove and clean the stepper motor on the back side of the plenum!
Could I suggest you use high zddp oil for a rv8, valvoline vr1 20w50 is well regarded for flat tappet cams otherwise great work and good to see a classic being kept alive
Thank you for your comment! Yes I should but they were a bit more expensive so I went with a cheap one for one and then, maybe we’ll have to another oil swap if the car will run for longer than 30 sec 😅 Cheers!
am so pleased for you , it sounds good and looks good , you must repair the oil lines as blocking them off blows out the internal seals ,i have now bought a scissor lift as crawling under is getting to be hard work looking forward to the next tasks
Thank you David! It was sure nice to hear the engine run. Yes, il that’s the plan. Get a new line for the oil cooler 😊👍🏼 I will keep posting as I progress!
