Literally why I don't play the game anymore.
Honestly it's easy to guard them if you tell your center to play up and put defensive assist under 15. And that's it.
i do i literally went on a 40 game win streak all 6'0 and under their easy to hold because their very predictable plus if they left right cheese all game with a small build like that then their not comp

I know most people talk about game play but the Daily Pick Em has not rewarded me with any VC since the NBA season started and now it's been stuck on a loop showing me the same results from games from a week ago. As somebody who's working and doesn't have the most time to grind for VC, it's sad to see that the free stuff isn't working. Also never received the VC for taking part in Dunk Fest. It's just frustrating...

This 2K at launch was the most fun for me since 2K19/2K20. All these patches are ruining the game. I hit level 40 season one but I’m only level 6 for season two. These patches are ruining the game. Every person is talking about how bad the L/R cheese is but they keep needing defense. Classic 2K logic that makes no sense. On top of the recurring issues like lag, never updating pro am, rec has no place for solos to play vs other solos, VC Inflation, not giving complete patch notes, etc. Same crap happens year after year. Money hungry 2K seems to treat its customers worse every year yet sales go up. Why are we still buying this game? It’s not like we don’t know what we’re signing up for.

Would love if 2K fixed the UI for proam/rec games where your UI is stuck showing your badge the whole game, and you can't see your teammate grade go up or can't see how much takeover you have accumulated. Such a simple fix which has plagued the game since the last game too.

I play PS4 current-gen, the game isn't too bad imo, but recently I feel way more latency online. Also, it gets frustrating trying to play as a casual gamer because you just keep running into the curry-sliding playshots or the glitched PF builds that can do everything.
I love the seasons structure in 2K22, but more importantly.....I love that hat with the province of Ontario in the background Agent.....great video....very informative

I enjoy current gen a lot! Extremely fun, I like the seasons cause just like you said, I have too much stuff to do on a day to day but seasons gives me a reason to continue to play the game. Honestly 10/10, top 3 2k in my opinion

They’ve changed some things for sure. My lateral quickness seems significantly decreased on defense. I had no problems clamping L/R cheese, now it’s tougher. Also, a strange thing is, my 6’9” player don’t seem quite as tall as before. Like the player models have been tweaked.

Simple fix for the next 2k is to make the Seasons and Rep system separate from each other just like in every other game. Let the rep grinders grind rep until they hit legend and have the Seasons as bonus content.

The game has been fun. So far. Your point on the lvl 40 grind for the casual is just not enjoying. I hop on and only grind the quests because playing park games, rec games, etc, is too toxic. I cant get in a game without arguing with a teammate, or opponent. I just wanna play. I work weekdays 8 to 4. Theres no time for level 40.
Man i feel this so bad... I literally only play MYPlayer cause any online mode is either lagging me out my own brain even with 200-300 mbit per sec download... Or it's just not playable cause noone knows how to play real basketball.. Online shit is suuuperwack.. The community is so laughable.. 🤪
I always feel delayed on 2k22 as well. When I play MyCareer, the timing is completely different to when you play park or REC with your jumpshot. I play current gen, but it’s so annoying when my muscle memory keeps getting messed up when I switch between modes

There’s also a bug where if you catch the ball while moving your guy goes through some weird gather animation. It only happens on the wing, and even if you’re only moving a tiny bit

Nobodies be having perfect defense with no badges extremely clamping you up,computer with excessive blowbys but they stop you in with these 💩tty animations. The game favors the A.I . You’ll have the opposing team put up 30% contested 3s and green them from deep like they’re all Steph Curry. You see players able to put up layups in double teams that’s like 60% contested and still green it. AI’s on your team will always be stupid. I’m trying to farm playmaking badges, so I call for screens from people who have good lob city finisher on. I use the screen and then instead of my guy cutting towards the hoop, he just stands there. Better yet, here’s my favorite one. I’ll have a 7’3 center on my team who will get caught on a 6’1 point guard. When I throw the lob, he’ll just throw his hands up in the air like he got heavily contested. Like bro, you’re a whole damn foot taller than the other guy, how is he guarding you?

I have grown tired and worn out playing the same type of game, so this year I decided to purchase NBA 2K22. I’m a big fan on Basketball so it was the perfect game to switch to. I 100% agree though, I’m not the only one switching games because of already experiencing the same games for years.
2k22 is fun for a bit. It’s definitely better than last year, more fresh, better gameplay. Still got the cheesers but they will always be there, and besides them and the latency, those are my only issues with the game man. I enjoy hopping on with my buddies and playing a few times a week

Umm what about the left to right movement point guards keep doing, or as Chris Smoove says “the zig zag cheese!”. That shit is so annoying. How do they take that shit out for years, then bring it back in the 2K I actually considered decent! This game went from a 8/10 to a 6/10 just for that shit. Can we ever have ONE YEAR where there’s no unrealistic exploit in the game?
They need to buff defense. The problem with Left Right is that we slide on D, and that Offensive Player Movement is much faster than Defensive Player Movement. Also, Pick Dodger dont work majority of the time....
I’ve really been enjoying the seasons. Even if I don’t get to level 40 it gives me something to grind for that’s actually fun besides grinding for my badges or overall only like the past 5 years. I also think that it’s hard to get to level 40 as a casual player and think 2k should try to implement an account based quest options instead of quest per build. When I see a rebound goal I know I won’t hit that with my PG but it would be fun to hop over to my PF and get a goal that way. Last note, shooting was 100% different. I went from hitting greens to feeling like something was off after the patch. Thought it was cuz I didn’t play for a couple days but now I believe it was touched.

I play a lot of games that have reward systems but all of those games don’t shit on the time you put in on the game by releasing a new game the following year, that excludes all of your previous years rewards. that’s my problem with seasons. It could easily turn someone who sits in that grey area of casual and hardcore in to straight hardcore but it’s having the opposite effect for me. Making me more casual cause I’m just not beat to put that much time in to say just 1 season cause I really want that idk .. skeleton skin to have it mean nothing later.

It’s hard to enjoy the game playing with randoms never know if you’re gonna B playing with someone who wants to run around with the ball the whole game or pass it back and forth between their friend that also makes it harder to level up if you’re not getting any touches or you’re losing games on someone else’s behalf you’re not really getting XP I think this is a big factor that should B considered maybe adding more ways to level up instead of everything depending on who you’re teamed up with
