It won’t die until they have a competitor. NBA Live couldve done something but the gameplay is just not as smooth. They have good modes and good broadcast graphics licensing which makes it feel like an actual game. Hopefully they can come back and try again

Im done with 2k tbh havent played 2k22 in months. What really stuck with me was how much boosts improve your player and how little boosts you get from the wheel and how there is no ability to spin a wheel to improve your chances of getting boosts. In 2k20 you could spin and get 45 BOOSTS

What else do you guys want gameplay wise. I hear a lot of people saying it's bad but what about it is? They took out the left-right cheese and I've been having the most fun on this 2K than I have in any other game in a long time. The only complaint I have is the rewards but that's it.
Yo there is so much bad in this game. They need to add more skill involvement a fun 2k for me is one you know that if you lost it was cuz you just simply where the worse team not because the other players got better animations or rng I have a 78 win % and nothing is more frustrating than someone pulling up on me and beating me cuz they went 4/4 on white jumpers and don't get me started on paint d where you play good and 20 percent contest is just automatic even for baby play shots I want a game to be fun by making it so if I lose it's not frustrating and makes me mad but instead I see and admit the other team was better and just move along
@@Erick_osvl Is that next gen? I’ve been playing it for a while and the better team always wins, which is a first for 2K in a while. Sniper on HoF is effective this year so it makes since for people to be hitting the slightly early/lates if their rating is high enough. I think the shooting is perfect because it’s usually a miss if it’s contested. People rarely score on my bigs with 90-99 interior def and intimidator. They just made attributes and badges matter in this game. If you leave someone open, they’ll most likely make the shot even if it’s not perfect release. If you’re interior def isnt high then they’ll most likely score a layup on you. I have no problem at all holding my match-ups to low scoring games on defense this year
2K22 is a good Basketball game. There are a few gameplay issues, but that will always be a thing when we’re dealing with cheesers. I firmly believe that people who cry about this game simply don’t love Basketball. If you truly love Basketball, I believe you will appreciate and be grateful for what this game offers this year. I’m not sure what more people want to be honest. Just an ungrateful community.

@@Erick_osvl Do you know what causes people to miss? Contesting shots. Playing defense. You can’t complain about a high rated shooter hitting wide open shots. Guard and contest the player and they won’t go 5/5. Paint contests are broken, but as players we just have to adapt to the game that is in front of us. Can’t make excuses or sit here and say our records would be better if the game took more skill. Because if that’s the case, then as a skilled player, you should be just as good if not better at a game that takes no skill.

I love this 2k because of the diversity (I say this even though one of my builds is a playshot lol) but it gets boring when I hop on and I can’t get a game for 45 minutes, in and out of parks and off and on dots.
