I been saying for a while that 2k content creators ruined the game. I’m happy this dude sat and laid out all the proof. They get the exact game they asked for then complain regardless
All of it isn't the creators fault a lot of it is due to 2k piss poor execution look at Fortnite they listen to their fans and their execution is 9/10 and the feedback is positive for the most part

Someone said easiest rep system of all time. Unless theirs a glitch I’m unaware of 2k22 takes 1,000 games to level up 40 on the pass. It shouldn’t take 500 hours just to get a tiger…some people got jobs and some just got 200+ games in their library.
A big part in why this game isn't as fun as it should be is the community. Everybody basically plays the exact same so it gets boring quick
I feel like 2k is like a genie. They sometimes make what we want but there’s always a catch or con. For example yes most of the community wanted affiliations but if u don’t play in ur own affiliation u get -rep like wtf nobody wanted the last part. Another with tiger yes I love the tiger but why tf do I have to spend vc to unlock it, I earned it it’s my reward for playing their game so much. There’s no reason for me having to spend a decent amount of vc for something I’ve earned.

Its time for 2k to stop with the money scheme that is 2k builds. We should be able to respec our chars for rec, and park. You should be able to change your position, height, wingspan, etc. You can keep the lock on the mycareer mode but I never understood why we cant change our characters for online….

The Battle Pass was and still is a great idea. But when you turn it into the easiest rep system of all time and completely remove rookie to legend..... its not executed right. The parrot would of been a great reward for legend if it replaced the blimp/helicopter, but when you remove the competitive reward completely (the extra badges) and its just the parrot......not executed right again. EXECUTION! EXECUTION!
Yeah I mean I was on 2k daily trying to grind after season 1 I couldn’t play anymore it was too easy and there was no real grind for elite/legend status… it’s ok though I believe they will get this system right for the next game

But, at least having a real, true legend grind, that doesn't reset, would be great. Then, having the season rewards that are only available in that season (and doesn't appear in the damn store, later) would be even better. Most people won't hit legend, regardless... So, they just try to get the season rewards, every season.

The only rewards that have been worth having in my opinion is the extra badge point, and better spin prizes. It’s not fun grinding through city and rec games, knowing 90% of the rewards are trash and don’t add anything or fill a void in the game.
Road to the finals had me excited to grind and get better. That would be nice

The park isn’t nearly as booming as it use to be and playing in the city is often delayed as fuck. The affiliations are heavily tied to park so if the park isn’t top toe anymore then affiliations start to matter less and less

i know playstation has tournaments for 2k on the dashboard and you can click a button on the main menu of 2k that will pull up available ones but its not used much even tho theres almost always some kind of tournament on the list.

No the games need to focus on user skills and realism ! Players need to be rewarded for beating the offensive person to the spot and not sliding behind them and getting crabbed. It’s like you beat them to where they are going and your player doesn’t bump them, they somehow end up behind them and they shoot and it doesn’t register as a contest

But it’s still the fact that people asked for those things almost 2-3 years ago and 2K finally add them, when they could have easily did an update on the game that was currently out 🤦♂️
Events used to actually be something, traveling to house rules ship, mtn dew courts, etc.... THE EVENT CENTER IS STUPID
They attempt to do certain things the community asks for and a lot of the times it's not executed correctly. Things like matchmaking for park. They implemented it but only for solo; knowing we wanted 3v3 matchmaking, just for example.

The game is at a stale state due to the fact of how it's played and not the content. There's a lot of content in the game in each season but to reach them you have to grind the game or play for 2 hrs a day to get the rewards you want This grind isn't bad but the community has changed the past 3 years where the new player base is constantly trying to find the best build possible. Which has been done every year but now people are emphasizing it and using it. 2K15 2K16 and 2k17 are all examples of everyone creating their own build and having fun and watching a content creator on an OP build but not making it. 2k19 everybody had a playmaking/shooter but then saw the potential in a two-way slashing playmaker and everybody started to make the switch For the past 3 years everybody makes their build gives it 4 days and then finds the best build in the game and then use it for the rest of the year.

@@belikedre28 exactly, 2k has been deliberately copying and pasting the same old graphics and the same old movements and animations since like 2k18, just with minor updates, they even carried the same look/feel onto to next gen, and people want to ask 2k for stupid crap that does not relate to gameplay, no wonder why 2k is trash now, fixing the sliding issues, and the curry slides, and other exploitable moves categorize under gameplay, and the movement and feel of the game fall under engine/graphics, especially the looks for park affiliation environments

Depending on the user and if they see it and able to time it right. 2k needs maybe a lil bit wider courts & just overall better gameplay animations and aspects

I still dont see how after the updates from season 1 to 5 how 2k took a decent game that needed a few tweaks and completely went wayyy off course and ended up with 2k21 next gen gameplay... Thats the part of 2k21 next gen i hated most ... I was a super casual in 21 and deleted that game atleast 6 times within the year barely making super star 1 the gameplay was horrible .. no defense so lil timmys ran 2k21 and thats the reason everybody quit the game
