Dude ive basically stopped playing the game all together, i was set on hitting legend but theres just no point. On top of that the ridiculous things i see every game is disheartening.
I'm a REC player. I've grown a deep disdain for park players. Never got into myteam like that.
2k has been giving me this years dunk contest vibes for years. The normal game myleague vs hof is just idk broken the whole game doesn't adapt and it gets clunkier each year. Like the past the game dies because online becomes about exploits and Op builds. Left and right cheese though defendable drains me out and it's considerably worse this long into a cycle. I'm still playing but its hard when going offline isn't a huge draw. Mycareer story is nice but seeing teammates play like garbage in the systems 2k made for them shows ineptitude to change and this game basically serves as a reskin

they put NO EFFORT into improving the AI. they still play the exact same way as the ones in 2k12. i can’t say anything earlier than that tho bc that’s the first 2k i ever played. I just watched a clip of 2k13 and it all looked so smooth that it almost made me cry. its all the complexities they added to dribbling for no reason. like why can I use the left stick to pull off dribble moves and trigger standing animations?
Would have been cool if they could get the rights to bring back some of the retired mascots in addition to the ones we already had but 2k never thinks ahead.
Parks were packed & so was the Rec. I’m not sure what park Agent loaded into to come up with this theory but I think his internet might be tripping. 2k is always dead at the end of a season…not the beginning.

19 was the best 2k ever if you think about it, builds was all even no build was OP every build had they own skill, and u had to grind for badges therefore everybody wasn’t good, it was just even wasn’t unrealistic like 17 and was realistic like 2k20-21 it was in the middle, only thing they need to keep is the rep system in 2k22 with seasons just better rewards and bring rec with regular clothes back god damn it !!!! And please give us realistic looking parks like Rucker park, Venice beach, open gyms for 3v3s like a real basketball experience not us playing in some ancient museums warehouse 😂🤦🏾♂️ like cmon 2k we not 12

I feel like taking out win percentages and and making the stat sheet better in rec would make the game more enjoyable. Dudes be too focused on teaming up with tryhards they pass up good players that got unlucky with teams in the past and got bad records. Bad records don’t automatically mean trash.

Bad passes, letting the other team score,Losing streaks.Not everybody can be a gamer nerd and 1v3 a team in park or 1v 5 a team in rec. So saying its my fault sounds dumb as hell lowkey😂.
I think it would be interesting if maybe they implemented maybe a set of challenges? “Score 400 pts in the city” and you unlock different gear to put on the mascots

don't know what server you were on but on next-gen every single court in the park was packed when I jumped on for s5.
It’s that the community is divided between next and current. So when you log on courts are empty.

is it just me or is it hard for anyone else to get a game of park going alone? i tried to play yesterday and in 2 hours i got 2 games its impossible to load up park by urself anf find a game with randoms so ive just been playing rec because it loads you right in.

Imagine a year grind like legend used to be. Trimmed down a little and here’s why. Make the last rep or rank a big thing kinda like legend but inside of said rank you have “The Top 500” or something. Could be just 100 either way. Have your placement and rank be determined by opponent strength (rank+win%). Also to keep people from straight running from games make the Opponent strength give and xp boost of some kind. This might hurt or help the boosters. With this they could do the seasonal stuff just make the grind being get to legend and try and be Top 500. Make it reset every season (not rank just the top whatever list). Also and it where I can bring multiple builds to team pro am. Sheeesh. Also some kind of griefing system for prom am. People can straight up get a defensive three and offensive three for an entire half and not get kicked

Been playing since 2K9. The issue with 2k22 isn't a lack of reward diversity. The issue isn't even gameplay, even if everyone is still playing with the same builds and animations. It's the lack of MATCHMAKING system in the park. I started playing 2k22 a week after release. Fully upgraded my player, maxed my sniper and catch and shoot badges. Went to the park excited for a game of 3s. It took me almost half an hour to get ONE game. All these level 20s looking at new players like they're obviously trash based on their level ONE week into the game. And any time I got a 2nd player to join me, a squad coming fresh off a loss would just cut us (REMOVE SQUAD PRIORITY in the park or create seperate parks or matchmaking queues for solo players and squads). No multiplayer game is worth playing when you have 15+ minute queue times and the game itself lasts under 5 minutes and solo players are forced to play against squads while trying to convince randoms to pass the ball.

None of my friends have the 5 so I’m left to play at old gym. It’s the fastest way I can get in a game.
