2k22 was ruined by the 2k community when the first game came out it was fine (minus the bugs and glitches) people were mainly complaining because they weren’t getting their way like they use to. That my final thought
A lot of people don’t talk about it, but the park community really messed up 2K. Always complaining for changes that 2K struggled to find the best of both worlds in terms of how real the game should be. Take for instance 2K16, the game was not as unique as older 2Ks but it was solid. 2K17-2K22, try playing a quick game and the gameplay is not that fun. Yes it’s nice, but repetitive.
Honestly game was still bad in the beginning but my God when these lames started finding all the exploits and ways to cheese the game it just turned to complete shit.
The game to me was always just a upgraded 2k20 I never got the hype of it

I could’ve been a legend in the last season but I lost all interests in the game completely. The fact that I can’t play with any of my buddies cause they don’t want to pay the scalper’s price for next gen has been a downfall imo. I’ve joined groups to get in rec games but the toxicity of those people are unmatched 🤣. You can NEVER get a complete squad without having a sellout.

2k22 is 100% unplayable without friends, i got to level 36 but i cant even play the game to hit level 40 without my friends being with me and even when they are it still sucks
and that’s the main problem for online in this game especially for a basketball game it should be as easy to que up and play like fortnite

Well creator's are better than content creators. Content creator are pretty much thieves of fame. They steal ur builds and expose them, crap on them to devs. They snitches. Dont get me wrong there's a lot good content creators, but for most part. Most are bought to snitch. Push a narrative. Expose builds from creator's, take away advantages from the common gamer so they seem powerful. The one that don't go along are outed as problems. Channel banned. Set up in scandals. It just a game right until it isn't. . So I don't care much for content creators in 2k or any game as much a creator. For example when agent was in 2k good side, dude was invited to parties. Fatten up if u will etc etc. But when he couldn't be bought or shut. Up on certain things or agreed to certain narratives. Look at how they do him?. I’ll always cherish the memories of smacking power df and grinding df in 2k18 and 19 but besides agents videos, this game and community might as well be done until a worthy competitor rises from the ashes.

I’m not playing nearly as much as I was before hitting legend in season 4. The game is actually fire, but my squad stopped playing, and I’m not running rec with randoms ever again lol. Luckily, next gen has the market 1v1 so I go dominate there when I need my 2k fix.

The last time I played this game was in October then I returned it and never looked back. - Same Rec Center for the last 7 years made me return it.

took a break from 2k22 and now the game play felt like 2k20.
Honestly, I hate how 2k was talking so much about how every season, we travel to brand new island and it would become the park for the season or whatever but Instead, we got some weak ass event like treasure hunters which didn’t have remotely enough courts for like a day or 2 and it was back to the same reskinned courts on that boat, each season felt basically the same after season 2 and in games like that k20, we would have beats by night and events like that which made the entire park look and feel brand new and awesome but now they just reskin the courts and add some random as object on it and make it the park for the rest of the season

Only thing I hate about 2K22 is 1 the amount of VC it takes to make one build. I made a 2 way inside out play maker, it's going to cost 275k VC to get him to a 90 that means over 300k for 99 not including the cost of animations. I could've made 2 or 3 builds back in 2015 or 16 for the cost of one today. 2 I mainly play on my paint beast i have a 99 close shot but if I'm close to the rim and go up on a guard without hitting a drop step its bouncing off the rim 100% of the time or I'll get a weird animation throw the ball up all crazy and it bounces off the rim. But a guard can go up consistently with dunks and lays making them on my 7'3 99 interior defense and HoF intimidator.

I play 2k a lot I play current gen and Xbox and honestly as a basketball fan the game is fun but current gen rarely gets NEW events and I just want defense buffed especially paint and to bring back timed steals ofc everytime u press x ur not gonna steal the ball but when the ball glitches through my hand or body know we have a problem
I've played since 2k16. As a casual player I enjoy playing 2k22.
I'm still playing and enjoying the game. I play Xbox next gen. I know the issues. I play for fun, and most times...I actually have fun. I've been playing since the original 2k for dreamcast. Some have been better than others, some have sucked. If you take the game for what it is you might just enjoy it. I can see why a lot of people don't like it tho. And that's cool too.

I deleted it from my console fornthe first time in 5 years because my mycareer is glitched and I cant play any games online or in my mycareer and when I went to support they couldn't or more like wouldnt help me after grinding that player for months just for it not to work is so aggravating
I hop on Rec at least 4-5 nights a week with buddies after work. It's a solid 2k, passing just needs work.

Idk. I got like 300+ friends and about 85-90% are daily on 2k heavy. It’s a lot of people and 1.9 over the world isn’t a lot in perspective. Especially considering Covid boosted gaming heavy and it’s been trending upwards in general.

People can kill flame me or kill me all they want in the comment section but the content creators have to take some responsibility for what has happened with the franchise and it's current state. I mean if the KZheadrs, Twitch streamers, etc. just anyone associated with making content about 2k would stop constantly reminiscing about the older games and how they were "so much better", even though looking back creators were still complaining about those games in the moment. Once the top people in the community constantly complain and downplay a game every single year it becomes the trend and the large followings that they have begin to develop that same mindset. Look we all know the game isn't perfect and believe me we all know there is a lot to fix but the game is what the game is and if the creators want the community to buzz again and the game it's self to become fun again then they have to do their absolute best to just do that. Make it fun, do wagers, come up with creative video ideas and just play the game. I grinded my myplayer to 97 w/ no VC purchases and I had an aweful experience, once I got to 88 ovr I felt like I was just spinning my wheels because 1 attribute upgrade cost 3-4K. If park was ranked or there was a ranked mode meaning you could only play people close to your overall and win percentage and all you sweats could only play other sweats you would hate the game.

2k22 next gen is a great game. If you play it for 5 days straight just to hit 40 your most likely going to get bored. If you just play it a few hours a day it’s a great experience. The people that are complaining are the type of person to complain about everything & anything. The 2k community is still toxic asf tho. I run into internet gangsters everyday.

I ain't gone lie, 2K22 on current-gen is probably the first time since 2K17 where i find myself actually playing 2K and having an alright time. When you just mindlessly play and not complain about the game it's really not that bad tbh. I'll run a Rec game every now and then on my off days and that'll be that. I realized if I play 2K in small windows I don't notice a lot of the flaws in the game vs how I used to play for hours and hours doing the same shit. Hard not to notice the BS after your 20th game of Rec of the day lol
