1. Teammates CPU ai is really stupid when it comes to passing. A lot of times they will run right into a passing lane to get stolen. Sometimes on the PnR The Roller Will Just Roll Then as You Pass They Running Towards the 3 for an easy steal. Alot of weird angles they take its like the game is begging you to cause turnovers. 2. The AI defense is way too strong if you dont know how to manipulate it. Which can be very frustrating for some players. 3. Random switches during transition and defense that leaves someone wide open it makes no sense. 4. The CPU has god like senses when it comes to picking up a ball you swiped or them getting a rebound from their own shot I JUST BLOCKED. 5. The dynamic shot meter is the most dumbest shit ever introduced. And why is the gather and animations leading up to a shot triggering the meter. Throw me off way to often. Shot meter should only come up when youre in the act of shooting.
In mycareer if you drive a bunch then the defense will set up to try and stop you from grinding finishing badges, if you pass a bunch the defense will try and stop you from getting playmaking badges and so on. 2k sets it up so you cant have games like that and it's kinda bs. I get teams would do that fr but not instantly like in 2k lol
This comment. The Artificial Stupidity in this game pisses me off. Like nobody who knows basketball assisted with the AS(AI). There's no way. How is it that opposing AS overall 70-85 in MyCareer are God tier defenders, but my AS teammates in both MyCareer and Rec are ass? Don't stay with assignments and lag off when they do. If a defender tips a pass or blocks a shot, he is literally the 1st person to know the ball has been tipped and should have the 1st reaction to it being loose, not the offensive player getting it back 2-3 times. This game punishes you for playing good fundamental defense. Tipped passes turn into wide open shots and blocks go immediately back to sender for a layup you literally can't contest. If you pump fake and the defender doesn't jump, you are not magically open. You picked up your dribble and should be more contested not less or impossible. That makes 0 sense.

2k21my career was fun because the AI’s weren’t good. I could have fun fading away and score like 80 points in five minute quarters. Now the only way I can do that is by jab stepping the AI. Which gets old quick

A video like this gets made every single 2k and every 2k people say the same “oh I’m not buying 2k next year”. Then next year 2k drops a trailer with 2 weeks before release date then everyone preorders it. Then proceed to play 2k from launch to October. Then a video like this is made from December-February, picks up again for the playoffs and fall back off before the next 2k and the cycle repeats itself. Unless us as the consumer stop giving in and buying 2k just because it’s the only basketball game nothing will ever change. Notice how all the old big 2k KZheadrs stop playing 2k it gets old like anything you will get burnt out after a while with anything if you do it so often.

City Slam is awesome I love it so much. it can be cheesed to max badges in one day and it genuinely is a perfect balance between competitive I fun. I actually want to prove myself to the AI hahahaha
Something that also wasn’t made very clear is that there is 2 versions of the game, the city isn’t included in the current gen consoles and the career mode hasn’t got half the stuff in it you just go straight to the nba, you have to buy a next gen console if you want those features and extras

I’m on to you content creators. Y’all do this every year. Start off by loving the game then after awhile y’all start to hate the game. Maybe you just have 2K fatigue. Even when you go back to look at the 2K games you “liked” like 2k17, you have videos up talking about how much better 2K17 could be. This is a cycle every year to keep the views up.
YA LIKE THEY judge the whole game off of 1 game mode, the city,park. and they choose not to take my career seriously and just do it for vc. and complain just to spend 100$ on vc. also my NBA is so deep and they judge it when the don't even play it. also NBA 2k is a sim basketball game and try to play to real life NBA. but they make NBA 2k devs cater to park and try to make it arcade. 2k is nowhere near perfect but you cant judge the game off of 1 game mode
Nah the game is good at first, then people with no iq start crying and devs patch the game. Then it sucks. They always give people what they want. The game on release is what it is. People shouldn't complain about builds they make. Have some accountability
