22 is really fun this year on next gen. There is a lot to do in mycareer and is fun to grind now since there is levels. They fixed the booting from the city and joining squads which was really annoying. Sliding on defense is honestly the only little problem

The biggest bug/glitch I encounter is when I run from one side of the city to the other to complete a quest but the city doesn't load when I get to the other side. Usually happens when the quest has me walk into a building. I press start or back button and the infamous 2K loading circle appears and that is the only thing that moves on screen. I have to dashboard and reload the game.

Passing lanes always been like that but I know how u feel with bigs. 6’9 84 speed 80 vert glass cleaning finisher with 23 finishing badges and sometimes it feels like I can’t dunk over a 6’4 guard when slashing guards are getting all the dunks they want
Try using unstrippable on at least silver also if your using badges like fearless finisher it lowers your chances of dunking

They need to buff finishing, at least in current gen. Imma 6'5 2 way slasher with a 94 driving dunk and layup and the fact that you can have all the contact dunks and HOF finishing badges and still be struggling to get a contact dunk is wild. And layups are broken whenever I take one I get scared bc they are so inconsistent, even over playshots.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the dudes player that fell of the sky just died and he had to spend another 280k vc to make a new one.

Steals need nerfed, standing dunks need buffed, and post spin needs to go back to the controls it's always been, the new analog control is incredibly inconsistent
exactly my big literally has rise up, poster, and fast twitch on HOF yet sometimes he goes up so slow and weak sometimes. and this game is catered to standing layups because it’s like rolling a dice whether or not you get contest or not even if you jump at the right time.
Steals don’t need a nerf at all. His is one of the first years that stats matter. If I have a 99 steal and pick pocket HOF. I should be able to rip a player with 80 ball handling a lot (which I do). If you don’t want to get ripped then make a high Ball control build

I'm still trying to complete the "Toe The Line" quest, so I can be a 'starter'... Mind you, I'm in my second season, Captain of the All-Star Team, averaging 45 a game and have been a starter ever since it let me fudge with the minutes and I can just put myself in/take myself out of the starting lineup.

I had a glitch where I would join a friends game invite on Xbox, and I would load in on the other build I had, and when I went to go back to the build I wanted to use, the build would just be gone, now this can be fixed by restarting your game but this glitch lasted a week for me and made it hard for me to play w friends

Over the past week this game has changed a lot for me. I had an update every morning and then that huge update. But the game got considerably harder this week. They definitely nerfed shooting, all of a sudden one day I just couldn't shoot. Felt like every players timing window was much shorter. It's almost like 2k20 now where 80%+ of my points are having to come from inside the paint. I'm not complaining, while I did rage when I all of a sudden couldn't shoot, it'll be fine. I just don't know if the game will stay like this or what other changes they will sneak in. So I don't know what builds to commit to, I don't know what style of play to practice and get good at for the higher difficulties in MyTeam and shit. Looks like the 2 way slasher I made day 1 might actually be good though lol.

@Clyde Wellington I am on current gen. I hardly ever play park or rec or any of that though so it's slightly different. I've started tracking my 3pt shooting now, so I can see the changes over time. I only started this two days ago but the numbers are crazy. My last 3 games 8-27, 6-23, 2-29. One thought I had is that maybe they buffed contests? Because I went to practice and if I can manage to create 3+ft of space it feels normal but if a defender manages to even get sort of close it feels like the shooting window closes down faster than I can manage to adjust. Like a 35% contest feels like I will shoot 10% or less. And I'll just start to play different, I'm not gonna let it ruin the game, I like post play anyway. If the outcome is that I'm forced to just play very smart and conservative, that's a good thing long term.

Defense on next gen vs comp isn't good at all. It's impossible to guard that side to side quick chain stuff people do. You don't get bumping animations. They need realistic foot planting and change of direction like Madden has. Current gen and next gen shouldn't have similar gameplay and movement.

The AI gameplay in mycareer is terrible, the defense is impenetrable, they intentionally slow you down and pulls you into the defensive animations. It’s a pre determined outcome regardless. I’m not playing this crap anymore. The game is not good.
And AI defenders with low speeds chase you down after you pass them and slow you down. I've had layup and dunk animations altered because flash caught up to me with a 70 speed rating, versus my 90 speed. I can be 5+ steps ahead and they still manage to bump me or pull me into some weird animation
I think it's one of their better releases for sure, but they still have some work to do

Bruh… there is a badge to help u make whites… every shot u make should not be green… no one shoots like that. No one want to play a game like that either. Watch the lil 5-9 pgs and u will get sick of seeing greens 😂. On next gen the only problem is the on ball steals. If u allow them hof pick and hof unpluckable what u think would happen. We should be able to body them up to steal from them as well. But instead 200lbs bounces off 130lbs with HOF clamps. I can deal with bad passes stolen but it’s very unfair advantages to having those guys on ur team. I don’t even like playing with them.

Play shots supposed to be able to play make and shoot… they have 85+ three ball… complain about the contest or the badges that negate ur contest. But open whites or greens I have no problem with. My game does this thing with guards only. They get in the paint and my cpu defender immediately gives him space like he’s 10 feet behind the 3 point line. So cpu just automatically goes into a free throw wide open jump shot they never miss. Aggravating. I’ve never seen a defender give a guard 10 feet of space at the free throw line on purpose.

My main problem is, The defense is “too” good, if I’m playing on all-star and lower, the cpu shouldn’t be Patrick Beverly with Kwahi Leonard’s body. Superstar and up is understandable but Allstar and lower, that’s crazy. Just adjust the cpu defense on lower difficulties, don’t touch Anything else that would affect gameplay. 👌🏾👍🏾

Exactly I feel like an average defender shouldn't be giving me a body up animation every time I try to dribble Harrison Barnes had a 78 perimeter defense and I couldn't get by him I have silver space creator and tight handles and I cant get any separation on my step back move and they need to penalize people for playing poor defense in rec center because people literally spamm x and it takes zero to no skill to play defense in rec center because everyone has a 99 steal rating defense in 2k has become less skill based and more based on luck like how many times have you gotten a steal and the ball some how ends up in the opponents hand for a wide open shot It happens to me all the time
I got a rare glitch where i cant play my career. It glitched to where I cant advance until i complete a quest, but the thing is i already watched the cutscene for the quest and it wont advance the quest. I have tried resetting my console and all nothing works. I cant advance because it says i havent completed a story quest that i already watch the cutscene for.
They did a small nerd to drop stepper badge. Many people probably haven't noticed since everyone has a guard. My C is 7'2 all inside and his drop step has been kinda nerfed.

2k support told me they have been made aware of the glitched toe the line quest preventing you from being a starter but don’t have a timeline for when it will be fixed

I enjoyed 2k21, but I also had a playshot for most of the year and played rec with my buddies. 2k22 was fun off the rip Bc of how easy it was to shoot and how smooth the dribbling is. Both next and current gen have that fun factor. Might be a top 3 2k
camera glitch in mycareer, it don’t save your camera settings and have to change them after every game so the rec camera which is connected to that camera stays at default . not major but something that just shouldn’t be a problem

The games controller remaps. Hitting LB calls timeout? Can't pass without using icon. etc. Makes you look great in the rec
i cant get my quest done for 2xvc in the pro am in current gen when i’ve done it like 4 times than it deletes my builds until i reset my console and resets all my settings like meter and jump shot splash icon even stick orientation

I did used to have my PS5 freeze while running in the city and the whole console would restart
There has been times I’ve suffered something similar to a lag spike in a mycareer game and my controls stop responding.So, I put my controller down and for some reason until a free throw or timeout or end of quarter it’s like my player is controlled by the AI ...it’s helpful but aggravating at the same time there has been times when my player had a green release and 2 blocks and I wasn’t even close to my controller

This new patch update just messed my game up. If I play the rec in the second quarter my series x cuts off. If I play park if I win or lose the system cuts off

I can't start a WNBA season on PS4. Everytime I set it up, as I go to the calendar to start a game, blue screen crash. It's been doing it since day 1 and after all these patches it still happens.

I played Cyberpunk 2077 and when it originally released for about half of my playthrough I was blue screening like once an hour. They finally got it after a about a month where it only happened about once every day.
The game constantly crashes for me as well just chilling in MyNBA 2KU.
