It is a testament to human ingenuity but it's amazing there are any forests left anywhere in the world when machines like this.
Many years ago now when I worked for Intefor at the 3W site in BC, they had an older Linck line system . The company had upped the speed of the line for more production , but that also brought up the repairs/maintenance , so it turned into a very high maintenance breakdown system . It was designed for a slow walking pace , but Intefor had upped the speed to almost a jog to follow the cant through the line . The Linck system was /is very expensive to purchase compared to many other types of system, probably because it is from Germany and high duties are set . The Linck system worked pretty well with pretty good recovery, but it was high maintenance . I spent many hours working on the line in the years I was there . Many of the components are modules and the repairs were re & re the component and break down the module during the week to do the specific repair or complete rebuild of the module .
Form Lawrence Massachusetts god bless all of us amen 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Those multi-saws are just insane. And the auto-stacker. Wow. I am surprised they don't have more machines making the final drums though.
No ear protection either, yikes 😬
I was amazed at how wasteful the drum wheels are. A bit of sophistication for the outer boards would save huge amounts of timber. As in why are the outer boards the same length as the centre boards?
the lumber mill segment was basically a commercial for the equipment but it was still really impresive.

You have a remarkable ability to distill complex ideas into simple terms.
The engineering represented in these factories is INSANE!!
Your comments always leave me feeling enlightened and informed.
Sophisticated technology .....success for "X-Machines" ...pekalongan, Central Java, Indonesia present
I wish Man is blessed by god to think of automatic machines/robots that plant trees 10 times more than Mankind is cutting!
Interesting how the machinery in the beginning is so sophisticated and the equipment in the reel factory was all old and low tech.
The video is of two different factories...
Most of the machinery in the first video is simply to move high volumes of material from one process to the next. The smaller quantities of raw materials are moved around by hand and gravity, at least there seems to be human input in the finished product, even though they don't look particularly happy about it.
From Egypt, I salute you for this hard work 💥💥💥💥
FANTASTIC FILM..I ALWAYS STRUGGLE TO UNDERSTAND HOW A MANS BRAIN CAN FORESEE TO BE ABLE TO MAKE SO MANY MOVING PARTS...THANKS..DAVID..AUS..
You have an incredible ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
You have a remarkable ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and understandable way.
The inventor of this machine are really really GENIUS.
I work in telecommunications, I and see these wooded cable drums all the time, now I can finally visualise them being made, very cool.
😴😴😴😴
I admire your ability to see things from multiple perspectives.
Lots of sophisticated automation in that factory, nice watch.
Amazing! I could not stop watching the entire process! Thanks for sharing!
You have a way of challenging people's assumptions in a constructive way.

The work of engineers accumulates for all future generations.
Thank you for this informative and interesting video on how a Modern Lumber Mill processes logs into lumber, quite impressed.
Fabulous plant and a remarkable technology .... that's why the sawmills are less and less!
The automation of the wood industry is just amazing. Thank you
the design, engineering & programming minds behind all this just boggles my mind! WOW!
I'm a genius.
now this is a sawmill by god.
You have a remarkable ability to distill complex ideas into simple terms.
I’ve worked around a lot of heavy equipment; but lumber mills are terrifying!
I have worked in lumber mills, and yes they are scary places, do not show up hung over or tired!
Definitely too good of quality for Home Depot
Your dedication to your community and helping others is truly admirable.
wow, what machinery.
I’ve been to and seen many mills. Which was interesting Came to watch the plywood making in the thumbnail photo
What A Nice Modern Technology!!! ...It Is Amazing Technology....... BUDHWAR.....04//01//2023......
Nice wood
IMPRESIONANTE LA MAQUINARIA DESDE VENEZUELA
👍🏭🪵The level of automation in this wood processor factory is truly impressive. The multi-saws and auto-stacker are amazing to watch in action. However, I also noticed that the final drums seem to be made mostly by hand. I wonder if there's a reason why they haven't implemented more machines to make the drums. Maybe there's something about the shape or size of the drums that makes them difficult to automate? It would be interesting to know more about the production process and the choices behind it. Overall, this is a fascinating look at modern manufacturing.
true - a saw optimiser in the drum factory could reduce waste enormously
Luar biasa mesinnya
You have a gift for making people feel comfortable and welcome.
one inch side boards, wow!
Good job ✊
Simply amazing.
What is here so amazing ? That planet is getting destroyed day by day ? Every cut down tree impacts the planet ...damn evil.
Very impressive operation!
Where do you cover the big drums on your video thumbnail?
It's awesome! Your videos are really good
Amazing
Your dedication to your work and attention to detail are truly admirable.
Amazing machinery! But more respect to the woods, they been thru whole lot to not buy with full price at home depot.
Jos...mantap
Never forget about safety. Use Softgle Comfort
wow, what machinery. fascinating.
You have a remarkable ability to inspire others to reach their full potential.
Tebrikler çok güzel sistem kurmussunuz🇹🇷

Wow Wow Wow extraordinary bon bagay
Puri duniya me itni trees honi chahiye ki 10×10² ft me ek tree honi chahiye itni ped-paudhe honi chahiye
Thank you David Gardner for educated me, I didn't know that, but still have a question; does we protect our forest or our we the source of destruction?
That was extremely interesting, more like that Please Mike UK
I was really looking forward to seeing the thumbnail in the video but it's not there, where's that video?
Impressive stuff.

Môt sáng tao công nghê tuyêt vöi !
It's always old stuff I've seen before, and it never shows what's on the teaser picture that shows up as "new" stuff. I'll never watch X-Machines stuff again.
I agree the barker and sortline technology has been in use for 50 years.
Maybe so, but maybe many of the over 608,000 haven’t viewed what you describe as “old stuff”. Unless you sponsor this channel, it’s no loss.
😮😮😢😅
Nice amazing
Johnny's dad worked in a saw mill until the robots came and took his job
Your comments are always well-thought-out and well-reasoned.
All this for hamster bedding. Amazing.
I am thinking of equality of outcomes here! No math no trig no calculus b.s Long live comradery Hehehe
Wow! this is Awesome! i Love the way they use the whole log with extremely little if any waste. Thank You Very Much for post this video. :)
Low waste because they started with straight approximately cylindrical logs.
Thank you so much^^ f

Your writing is both engaging and informative.
Interesting, but quite different from the Tesla factory.

And I thought boards came from the store.
You have a gift for expressing your opinions in a respectful and diplomatic way.
i fthink thats perfect
I applied for a maintenance job with a company that made stuff like this. I'm glad I didn't get it.
Nice , super amazing

Why is there an edged board, it is quite suitable and partially edged, the cable does not need aesthetics
Somewhat surprised hearing and eye protection not required.
👍👍👍
I dont't think they worried about two or three thousandths tolerances for a spreader wagon..
I appreciate the depth of thought that you bring to every conversation.
What did the factory cost to build?
You have a way of making people feel validated and appreciated.
My best friend, that's a great video. I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
you are contributing to the global warming.
🌹🌹🌹
I've seen a lot of youtube videos I'd call a "wood processor" and this isn't one of them 😉
Kya baat hai Earth rahne layak nahi hoga future ke logo ke liye
Good work but said to use good wood instead of large cheeps fiber panels.
How many u need
Your intelligence and quick wit are truly impressive.
I’m quite sure the timber is sourced from plantations , to infer otherwise is mischievous. Accreditation can only be obtained by complying with govt regulations !
You have a way of challenging people's assumptions in a constructive way.
I hope they are planting twice as many trees as they are harvesting. I wanted a steel frame for my house build but it was 15% more.
good grief its not 1928 any more, you can eliminate more than half of those barrel slats, just dont need em to be stable and hold the cable, at least eliminate every other one.. sheesh
You have a way of putting complex concepts into simple terms.
