I expect that all of the thin wood off-cuts go back into the forest to be re-melted and extruded into new wood ingots to be processed later.

- @@mduvigneaud even if it goes back to forest, its a tree down... they should hop on to leaves... its much more renewal source and its quicker to get compost... we Indians, used weave leaves to make plates since 500BC... but some german company stole the idea and patterned it under his company...

This seems to be missing the step where the thinly planed wood is laminated into the hard board material used to make the plates.

- They definitely add a plastic layer between two layers of wood (they just want to hide it). It explains how good plates hold shape. You can see also straws made with two strips, one wood and one something else.

- 맞습니다. 하지만 나무는 수분에 취약하여 어쩔 수 없이 비닐로 포장하여 차단할 수 밖에 없었습니다. ㅠㅠ

А не проще ли использовать плотный картон, как было в СССР? Также биоразлагаемый материал, а стоит дешевле. Строгать тонкий шпон из хорошего дерева расточительно.

- строгать тонкий шпон можно из любого дерева. или про фанеру не слышал? а вот картон - это ещё плюс достаточно энергоёмкое производство. там древесные опилки разной фракции варят не один час + достаточно грязненькая химия.

It is an unfortunate reality that the earth, many animals, and plants are dying or getting sick because plastic products are not properly treated after use. Therefore, we made a product that can replace plastic products, and it is a pure wood product that is 100% biodegradable, not biodegradable only when certain conditions are met after use. It can be discharged according to the waste disposal regulations of each country after use, and sometimes it can be buried on the ground or used as camping firewood. For your information, during the manufacturing process, materials other than the product are collected separately and used as fuel pallets, so we do not waste resources. :)

- Что крутого? Древесину в мусор переводить? Так мусора мало? Уж если настрогали , то используйте как шпон в производстве мебели.

- @@npistudent Мебель превратится в мусор через 5-10 лет использования, а одноразовая посуда через 5-10 мин. Для посуды лучше всего подходит нержавеющая сталь. Из нее чашка прослужит 30 лет, потом ее переплавят опять в нержавеющую посуду. В ролике видно, что в производстве используется не какая нибудь малоценная осина, а высококачественная древесина - сосна. Переводить сосну в мусор не самое умное занятие.

- @@user-yz8gj8tn4y Так у мебели и объем больше. Поделите его на эти 5-10 лет, то на то и выйдет. Про остальное даже писать не хочется. Одноразовая посуда на 30 лет? Высококачественная древесина сосна? 🤦‍♂ Для таких целей используется дерево поплотнее и потверже сосны, обычно лиственных пород. Да, явно не осина. Но дерево - природный возобновляемый источник. И биоразлагаемый материал. Самое экологичное, что вообще можно придумать. Чистая древесина, как, например, эта посуда, выброшенная на свалку, по умолчанию не является мусором. Она в природе, без вмешательства человека проходит точно такой же цикл.

Ma è una cosa bellissima. Non la conoscevo. Altamente ecologica. E penso che i piatti possano anche essere usati più di una volta. Unica pecca, anche se minima, quell'imballaggio con pellicola in plastica trasparente. Da evitare e sostituire con carta. Bravi. Ciao.

estos platos han de ser muy exclusivos. ha de ser un producto costoso... sinembargo si usamos pasta de papel para estos cubiertos desechables. podemos usar al menos 15 veces la misma pasta de papel para fabricar platos. una y otra vez la misma pasta reciclada se convierte en cubiertos desechables. en cambio la madera solo una vez

The world should have this, instead of plastic and styro. Just one thing, It will be more enviromental friendly if you pack the disposable wooden plate with paper instead of plastic. Just the same when you pack the straw with paper.

How did the paper thin wood veneer get to be the thickness of the plate, there seen to be processes that have been missed out. Ps individually paper wrapped straws, thats ridiculous, whqtever happened to strw dispensers at the point of sale.
