Bamboo is actually a grass. It often gets mistaken for a plant or tree. Bamboo is unique as it is the largest grass and the only one that can diversify into a forest. It is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet. Some species can even grow up to 90cm per day!
For years products made from bamboo have become increasingly popular and you may be wondering how many products are made from it?

  • 1 meter per day growth. That is a very sustainable resource. Those pieces of bamboo lumber are very strong and excellent for building houses, making flooring material, etc. Nice product you have there.

    • Definitely isn't a meter per day. Closer to 2.5 feet. Quite an exaggeration. Look it up.

  • It is amazing to see how many products can be made from Bamboo and it is good to note that bamboo is a grass and not a tree. Bamboo Spatula & Spoon for cooking, salad bowl, and many kitchen utensils made of bamboo are not shown on this video as well. Great Job Noal. Keep up the good work!

  • The bamboo salt process really blew my mind, I didn't expect it required 8 time burning and 1 time melting process. I thought it was only going to be like 1 time burning process, package it and ship it.

    • Because the roots are extremely hard to kill if it becomes invasive.

  • Bamboo is a super versatile product, used in building, and they reckon it grows 1 meter per day? should be a very good "crop" to grow in tropical countries like Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela etc. can practically build the entire house out of "bamboo slats", including floors, tiles, cabinets, wall linings. It is used in Australia for floors etc. going for around $60-70 per meter, also for staircases, furniture, kitchen cabinets. A possible "local employer" for remote communities.

  • I've had a number of bamboo products in my life. My bamboo cutting board is the best I've ever had. I cook and use my cutting board almost every day, often twice a day, and it shows little wear after 9 years. Great stuff! But the salt? No thanks. If you use table salt and get your vitamins and minerals through your food, there is no advantage.

  • I have seen bamboo clothes, socks, shoes, t-shirts. I have bamboo cutting boards which I use every day in the kitchen. Very durable.

  • I was intesting with this video, from millions of bamboo sticks various kinds of crafts and innovations can be made from bamboo, with super sophisticated machines and super modern processes. even though in my village bamboo is abundant and not used on a large scale, it is mostly used when building houses, and for firewood.   • I would like to know where to purchase bamboo straws as an alternative to plastic straws or paper straws or even metal straws. A bamboo straw could be become a new standard. 💕 9:23 Bamboo fabric is very nice. I've seen them as clothing, pillowcases, blankets or sheets, etc. Even as some other forms of cutlery or dishware.

  • お宝ですね❤日本ではもう持て余して、除草剤を散布で枯らしてます。筍は食べますが😂これもイノシシ🐗が先に食べ、残ったのを😅周りを見渡すと資源は有り余るほどあるのに、わざわざ輸入する意味が😆🤔🙄💬海も山も荒らすことなく、素晴らしい素材です。私は竹炭を使ってます。自分で作ることができるけど😂買う時は高いですね。
