Thanks to the coconut industries for making organic products for healthy living
This is located in the Philipines, such a hard labor intense work that needs to be recognized.
The paper on the door suggests Vietnam for the weaving part. Signs on the store in the middle part is Philippines. I don't recognize the language on the third quarter with the peeler machine. The last part is maybe Indonesian.
Nice to know all parts of coconuts are useful to make household items, also to make chicken feeds and healthy edible for humans Everything from coconut is organic.
If all sea ports in the world will use natural materials like coconut and abaca ropes instead of synthetic/plastic/ toxic materials. The world will be a better place. This is reliable and very eco friendly. ❤
Philippines was doing this and even the hemp we made it as very strong ropes
3:59 they use syntetic rope to set the tension for a reason: coconut rope is not strong enough to be used on ships. That’s why they use it in mats.
@@noeraldinkabam in sealing cocounut fibers are used with ecoresin, something like fiberglass is made. This sistem is used nowadays for surf boards too.
All the ropes and rigging on the man of warships of the classical era used to be made out of hemp
@@noeraldinkabamthey used to have to oil the ropes back in the day
Beautiful! Amazing! Recycle and reused and reduced. Bravo. Amazing. Loved them!
Awesome weaving techniques!! I love freshly picked coconuts, the coconut water & the coconut meat!! We cut them with a machete as well, in Guatemala!! Mexico & Central America, as well
in few countries they use every part of the coconut tree including the fruit.
Those people that complain about hard labor…. They should sit their ass down and watch this tape.❤️🇲🇽
True because people nowadays wants to work and receive their salary with out putting much effort into their work.In short they are lazy
very true...😅
Totalmente de acuerdo!!!!!! 🇺🇾
Que hermosura!!! 💗 Cuánto ingenió. Mi más admirable respeto y admiración a estás personitas tan trabajadoras y creativas. Felicidades desde la Ciudad de México 🇲🇽❤
That is so cool👍😎 taking a waste product and making something very useful. Well done☮️
In tropical countries where coconut is abundant, nothing gets wasted. There are lots of products that come out from that tree. It’s amazing how they utilize every part.
Same as cotton or wool the fibers are stronger after twisted together much like grass rope, I like the way they are making the mats
What equipment would you buy to import coconuts and use the throw aways for when there are no facilities here to recycle... hmm not a practical supposition.
Best Mat making Art.👌👍👏
Thanks for your good work.
This is really good for helping fertile root growth in pots, unfortunately 1 small bag is quite expensive in Indonesia.
Beautiful, very good work
How does it feel to stand on the mats? Aren't dried cocnut fibers stiff? I suppose it can used for outdoor purposes.
Wow ! From coconuts to Jack fruits. Both are my favourite organic edible food
Thanks for explaining it was Jack fruit, I didn't know
Staffs are working good .

Nice techniques!!! To harvest and clean them!!!
they are great addition to kitchen runners and great at absorbing oils but yeah once the lifespan is done, we may need to change it every 4-6 months, and our cats seems to love these mats by the entrance doors and their litter boxes as they uses it to maintain their nails.

This is much better than cutting down whole tree like paper/cardboard factories
The mats are really lovely!
Those were some heavy duty mats made at the beginning. Fishermen I watch regularly refer to coconuts as 'God's Nuts'. I find it hard to disagree. Along with bamboo, another of our God's creations that has so many uses and both seem invisible to us in the Western world. Lovely video.
Such hard work!
Yes from roots until leaves coconuts lots of benifit…every single from coconuts are so important..we have that in PHILLIPINES ..THE COCONUTS song..or DA COCONUTS NUTS
What/where are these mats used. They look strong and perfect for outdoor use. Even great for gardening and soil stabilization and water retention projectd

Wow so clever!❤
Poštovanje za ovaj veliki posao.....
beautiful work
Anyone can earn money as long as you want to, those people are very sensible and has the highest degree (common sense).

Where would the rug be used, indoor or outdoor? Looks so heavy.
Tres intéressant ❤ 🇨🇵
I saw somewhere that cellulose based fibers have more resistance to sunlight than man-made fibers. Of course, they will rot but maybe they can be treated with something organic to help that.
Honest labor.
Genial...el proceso...
The power of spinning.
Hard working people.😊
The level of danger in this workplace lol.

👍👍 beatifull
Allah hu Akbar All thanks just only to Allah ALHUM DU LILLAH
Do you have to do this here in Brazil have much coconut
What is the heavy mat used for?
Would love a Coconut Rug for my Lanai It looks very Durable and would feel good on my feet
Where we get it. And price
I'm wondering what the rolls of mat are used for.?
Ini dimana boss pembuatannya
I still don't understand how that machine is able to turn that coconut fluff into durable ropes
Just like you go from cotton fluff to cotton fiber
Have a look at how yarns are made..be it wool fibre, cotton fibre, etc. When the lady is fluffing the yarn rubbing with her hands, it's like carding it prior to being spun by the machine. Yarns can be done with a drop spindle, spinning wheel or commercial machine. You can even spin dog hair too 😊
@@3bouldersurban653But how do you get from cotton fluff to cotton fibre. Nobody ever explains this. Need a carding machine?
@@abcxyz3028But how does a carding machine work? Need a detailed video to explain.
Wouldnt it be easier if they built themselves a table to work on?

Would have liked an explanation as to what these huge matts will be used for on ships? Or....
What do they do with the mats?
Omg it’s a health and safety nightmare. But they are doing very good work
