As a Sagittarian, I confess a bias toward the hunting theme, namely the symbolism, not the act. So, I love anything Diana (the Huntress). I can't believe fox hunting is still happening, but anyway. . . The gallantry of the hunt: the elegant horses, the smart looking gear, the well-trained dogs, I guess the aesthetic of it, impresses me.

I love the Diana painting, she is so pretty yet, watch out for her fearsness. Also known as Artemis. Member of the Gods, that lived on my Olympus. No doubt this is a woman painted to make her memorable in this way. Really a lovely painting.

Definitely me. I love a good antique hunt and I love french furniture. Unfortunately not much around in Australia. I am also very attracted to chairs but there's only so many you can have.
Unfortunately for us living so far away from France.. these genuine antiques will skyrocketed in price once it leaves France. Things that costs Stephanie one or two hundreds euros there will be in the thousands near us.
@@arifrosli3305 Absolutely! Even second hand stores are often much more expensive here, let alone dedicated antique fares where the sellers know the value of their goods. But it's also adapting some of those small things into your everyday life - the nice china, crystal, and fabrics. Those things don't have to break the bank. Also valuing history of the things we already have.
Seriously - Philip is your PERFECT Sidekick. Where Philip goes laughter and beautiful things are found. I enjoy laughing with and at Philip so much. I can never get enough of your joy and whimsy Stephanie. You find joy where ever you go. Always looking for the silver lining. The yellow chairs are spectacular and the mirror is just lovely.

I love everything that you purchased, especially the gold leafed mirror with the new mirror insert as well as the Diana portrait. That portrait was worth whatever you paid for it!! I mean it!!

I do not think overmantle mirrors and bed crowns are furniture . I think they are part of restoration that is why they are often left with the house.

@@wholesome122 at least US had a huge European migration bringing their style, heirlooms, architecture etc. Australia is so young, you would be lucky to get fancy 1970 cocktail glasses in the antique shops here. Thrifting for clothes is even worse 😭

Love to watch the shopping and love seeing the wonderful purchases made that will make LaLande even grander, and make all of you feel great. When you feel fine we do too. All because you give so much for LaLande and we love it too.
Phillip is an interesting mix: He gets high scores for being a gentlemen, his knowledge and interest in archaeology is so suited to Stephanie's journey and he has Creative Instinct and what makes him interesting it is it in contrasts to his "easy going, go along to get along" personality that suggests he utilizes his brain at all times without wasting his energy on nonconstructive things. I found in my experience that people that are highly creativity come with an untampered temperament. Phillip doesn't show any signs of an aggressive temperament with the exception to how his table is set as his creativity over cedes. Stephanie brings out the very best in people with the radiation of "star like illuminating brilliance" that is a Godly quality, in my opinion. People are human and I am sure all have their flaws but this channel's editing emphasizes the staffs positive personalities and their talents in such a way that is beneficial to their futures where ever their skills take them and also it makes for comfortable viewing.
