I am a simple woman. I see Mr. Johnson's working terriers, I hit the like button. Cheers from Boston, Massachusetts!
Thank u from Mr Johnson
I cant get enough of these videos. Makes my day watching the dogs in action just amazing their skills of ratting. They should make ratting a sport.
It used to be but those kind of sports all got banned
There not just dogs these are hardworking well looked after and extremely loved dogs! Thank you so much it's a joy to see a pack as happy and healthy as yours.
Few things in life make me happier than seeing terriers hunting rats.
Awww cutest blood bath I've ever seen. 😍 They're having so much fun! 😄
Just a follow on from my comments last night, it was really good seeing the Dogs working and also it was good seeing the Lurchers doing their stuff. When I started working with Terriers on Rats it was around 1955 when I was eight, my Father and his Mates were clearing a Knackers Yard, mainly the building, we’d nothing fancy like “Smokers” we used Ferrets, only trouble was when it got a bit hectic the Terriers couldn’t tell the difference between Rats and Ferrets. From that day I was hooked, as time went on we started to use Lurchers more to mainly “Nail” the runners, when working Farms with buildings close to the fields, or when doing “Muck Heaps”, the best Lurchers we used were Bedlington Whippet, I found that they’d got the speed but being that bit smaller they’d get the “Long Tails” a bit easier. Keep up the good work, I think somewhere back in the day, the then Duke of Beaufort said “A Fox Hunt to Hounds is good but a Rat Hunt with Terriers is marvellous”.
It was cool seeing how excited all the dogs where in the cages waiting to get going. Happy dogs
I love seeing working dogs, you’ll never find happier and more fulfilled dogs anywhere. Dogs are not bred to lay by a fire….
I support you 100%. Dogs were not bred to languish in apartments.
I swear the craziest shit comes up on my recommended
LOL
I wish people put dogs to work in the US, most people just let the dogs lay around depressed with nothing to do. Good job sir!
They Do put Dogs to work in the US, They just call them Hookers.
The dogs love ratting
Exactly, NYC has a major rat problem while dogs are walking around bored to death.
@@danesovic7585 dogs love ratting
There ia a guy in the US that uses dogs and mink and has had much success on many farms. His channel is Joseph Carter The Mink Man
Rat terriers and Scottish terriers doing their jobs. Love seeing dogs do what they were intended for.
Same, very interesting how we humans have breed them to be a vermint killers, so many different sorts, i think theres for every animal own hunting dogs, Mkäy. (not sure about this one, but seems like it)
I'm not saying that I would want thousands of rats in my home but I do find it repulsive and disgusting how you and others LIKE you demonize this particular creature in general and brutally killing them mercilessly becomes justified in your sick sadistic minds.
@@michaeltammaro482 what? Where did you get all that from 🤣 Listen,we don’t demonize rodents. We respect them as a part of life, but almost all the time rodents will overpopulate. We cant let that happen, that ruins everything. We put things back in correct order by controlling their population in a humane way. What is this way? Terriers of course! Terriers were bred for this, they were and still aren’t supposed to be small purse pooches. Of course, some dogs may enjoy that which no shame, but most terriers (especially these ones) don’t. They would much rather spend their days and nights helping with pests then sitting on a couch all day. Not only does this help the rodents population but it improves the dogs life drastically as you’re letting them express their genetics in a positive light. Also with your whole take of thinking this is a sadistic and bloody way of controlling them. Watch how they shake after catching a rodent, this instantly breaks their neck which is a quick death. The terriers may continue messing with it which doesn’t hurt it any longer as its dead as a reward or are taken off the rodent. Stop making assumptions and take time to learn if you’re going to share your opinion!
@@Spunky5 well said mate wish there was more people out there like you if they had a rat infection they soon want the dog's and boys in to sort it out for them
@@waynewatkins8848 thank you 👍 i own a yorkshire terrier me self that is going down the path of a working terrier (working on snake and groundhog) so i have a understanding

The terriers have got great little bodies. Sturdy, agile and strong. Funny to watch them go so fast. They're having a great time. (Imaging putting them all in the bath afterwards...😄....I would).
Bath water, a little bubble soap, put them in and drop a couple of toy rats and instant bubble bath! :o)
I love watching Ratting videos! Seeing the rats run really bring me joy, the dogs would have a whale of a time in the bath after a great session like that!
wish i was a rat just to see those big strong terriers chase me down

That was hilarious - JRT's are by far my favourite breed of dog. All hell breaks out when the rats start a running..
It's great to see these dogs enjoying themselves, and their handlers were having a good time as well. Thanks for a smashing video. We could do with those dogs in Westminster as well. 😃 🏴 🇬🇧

That’s what I call a good time 😂🤣👍👍👍👌👏 Those little guys a viscous hunters 👍👍👍
My new favorite spectator sport! Love this!!❤❤
I am form Arkansas, U S A and I had a rat terrier when I was a boy. I had other hunting dogs and I would buy dog food in bulk. So one day I was feeding the dogs and about 10 rat's ran out of the dog food bag. This is a issue because I bought the food. So I got the gas can and used about two gallons in about 20 rat holes and I lite one hole and the other holes caught on fire and there were rats running around on fire and she killed 21 rat's. My dad said I could not be trusted with gas and match's anymore.
Honestly I would have given you more matches and gas.
@@SuperReviews4you And a video camera
Haha ye you have to be careful filling holes with gas though. Combustion and restrictive areas = explosion 😂. Sure there's a vid of a guy blowing his lawn up on KZhead somewhere.
This was very funny! From Chile 🇨🇱 my best regards!!🙋♀️
You guys rock and so do the puppies need yall in Detroit:)
I love listening to the cheers of the men when their dogs grab one! If you weren’t watching the screen you’d think there was a cricket game in progress!
I've tried to watch cricket. This rat killing game is worth the screams.
Those pups are having a blast. Love seeing some working dogs.
👍🇮🇪
Brilliant the dogs are so happy working great to see keep up the good work
Ratter heaven they are having the best time 👍
Amazing dogs.. i love them❤️ new friend here☺️
Great craic, it’s like being at the circus. They go up, they go down, they run around. Thanks for posting.

Fantastic to see working dogs absolutely loving life ❤
Well done all and great job to those brilliant dogs!! I never get over one rat at a stables I worked at was almost the same size of the terrier 😆 bloody got it tho!! Brilliant just love watching the dogs enjoy doing their job!
My JRT used to hunt rats, mice and geckos with my GSD in and around the house in the caribbean when we lived there. They performed perfect teamwork. One would often scare them behind our trashcan until it tried to escape on the other side and the other dog would be waiting in an ambush. Was always fascinating to see. They tought themselves 100%.
It’s been a bit of a crap day today but just watched the Dogs, FANTASTIC, just made an Old Man happy and put the day right 👍👍👍👍
Awesome! I had a rat terrier "Tina". Best dog I ever owned... rat killer, snake killer and would find wounded deer at hunting camp... Thank you for this video! Love it!
9:20 I love the birds eye view of the ratting ❤ great work on this farm!
Makes me laugh so much watching this thanks 🙏😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍😂😂
I had a Schnauzer years ago and when I would take him to the park he would actually catch a squirrel sometime, so I read up on them and learned that German farmers use them to hunt rats.
Been watching these vids for a while now, and every now and then, more often than what probably seen, the dog eats a rat. Curious to know if there are any negative side effects or expensive vet bills associated with care of dogs? Keep up the good work, love your channel
My question too. It’s the only reason I don’t let my rattie catch as many as he wants to here in Baltimore MD where we have rats as big as cats!!
I have an entirely new appreciation and understanding for my Airedale. Damn....this explains a lot!
Those are some badass lil terriers 😷👍🏻
AMAZING! now I know what Terriers were bred for.
Better than modern movies. This dogs are 💪 Machnies
Tremendous these videos. Keep them coming.
So great and enjoyable video . Warm GREETINGS FROM VIETNAM
Great days Ratting boys, I kept and bred working Terriers for years, I loved a good day ratting, now aged 62, I don't hunt anymore, although I do have two keen Bedlington Terriers that hunt naturally caught and killed loads of Squirrels and Rats, you sound like you have a Cardiff accent, I'm from up the Valleys in Merthyr.
Amazing. What cracking little dogs they are. Great videos mate keep them coming.
Love the show ty Jeanette NYC USA
The Scottish terrier reminds me of James Bond. Looks so classy, but is a killer under that nice coat.
Them rats didn’t know what hit them!🤣
Great to watch mate .. my wee schnauzer loves ratting to .. great job lads 👍👍
We had many Irish Terriers. In fact, I could swear I see one in this video! That is the exact name of the breed. "Irish Terrier". They are a brownish- copper color. Very wiry coat. An impressive looking dog. They look very fast. They are bigger than most terrier breeds with the exception of kerry blues, wheatens and airedales. The Irish Terrier is faster than them all, though. They have long legs for their body and they are fast like whippets. All of these terriers I mentioned are good for ratting- soft-coated wheatens, kerry blue, airedales, and irish terriers. But man, the agility and speed of the Irish Terrier is top notch. Bring them out on an agility course and watch them shine. And wow, are they ever hellhounds. They're afraid of nothing, including big snakes! They'll go after rats and squirrels and rabbits and any other rodents. We currently have a wheaten terrier and she is scared of everything. She's even scared off by birds, even though wheatens are supposed to be some of the best farm dogs alive. She's a gentle sweetheart. But the Irish Terriers are the daredevils. They'll get rid of stuff. They never seem to get tired. Relentless. They live a fast and furious life and that's the way they want it to be. I think those Irish Terriers are really awesome. Great family dogs, too. Underrated breed.
This was very satisfying to watch!!We have mice once and my dachshund found one and went totally bezzark, ihe was squealing and whaling like i had never heard when he caught a mouse. Was the most excited i have ever seen him
Simply quality good to see working dogs. Dogs doing what they should be doing for all the numptys out there this is what dogs are breed for not so you cuddle them on a sofa and not so you can fit them in a purse. Champion pal keep up the work
Mr Porky!!! AHH so that's what goes into those "pork scratchings" rats! 😂😂😂😂😉👍🏻
my favorite JRT'S! LOVE THOSE CRAZY JET DOGS!
Love those dogs what they do the excitement just watching those little balls of energy
Iv had three jacks and all worked my first jack was just a brillant ratter and got some rabbits. These brèeds are bred for this purpose not to sit be lazy and miserable great vid all the best and keep the vids comeing live them.😊
I had a jack Russel mix and I would never dare put my rats around her. She would go into a trance state when she was in the same room as her but I could put my rats on top of my mastiff and she could care less. Nice to see a dog do what its bred to do.
Patterdales are my favorite ratter but they're all good and it's a blinding day out not just for the dogs but we love it as well I remember going as a kid with my staffordshire bull terriers it was always a good day out I loved it lol rat hunting you didn't think could be so much fun plus it's addictive, sadly I ain't been for some years now but my memories are still there and maybe I'll go again one day who knows?
Welsh terrier family from the Netherlands watching

Good on you fellas, they are a good team.
Check out the intercept at 9:25 amazing dogs! TY for sharing!
Minted. I was scrolling down to see the "Do Gooders" complaining, LOL, NO ONE likes rats!!
Indeed!!!
Far better way to deal with infestation than rat killer poison for sure.
This looks so much fun I wish they'd come to my allotment and go nuts!
No idea how l ended up here but that was very satisfying and these guys and their dogs are all legends btw
jeezus...thank god for terriers. They fkn hate rats!...not sure why exactly but this is gratifying to watch...
I catch how effective and vicious these terrier are compared to cats!
dogs truly the goodist of boys and girls
I'm not sure if they're speaking English or not but that sure looks like a lot of fun
*bruh*
99?! That's awesome! Dogs were having a blast!
I relylike it.No poison,no traps dogs like catching rats and lots of fun.I wish this method, will use everywhere. I rely enjoy watching it❤👌👍
Top, top entertainment well-done lads, and i hope them dogs are well rewarded when they get home.
Well done Mr Johnson.
THE FARM OWNERS MADE NO EFFORT TO KEEP THEIR FARM CLEAN FROM INFESTATION. THOSE ROTTING BALES CREATED THE BEST CONDITIONS FOR THE RATS.
I agree. The best vermin prevention is keeping the farm clean and well organized.
Brought back memories of my grandfathers farm n why he had JRT . This is why JRT are my favorite breed might n fearless lol
A terrier!.... greatest friend, protector and buddy in the world!.... plus they are tough as nails!
Dogs work well and harmoniously 💪👍😎
I have 2 scottie boys and a young cairn girl. The scotties are nothing but business. The cairn is the nose of the outfit. They never hang on to the prey. Its death shake, drop and on to the next. Here in the States I have to look hard for places to let them hunt.
