When this movie came out a buddy of mine went and saw it. Few days later we went to the movies and he said “we have to see Snatch!! It’s awesome!!!” I knew nothing about it. Never heard of it. So I went into the theater blind. I’ll always be grateful to that bastard for never spoiling a moment of that movie.
there are no dull dialogues or scenes in this movie. just perfect. love it.
100 never skip a single second 😂😂
Guy is a master.
One of my absolutely all time favorite movies. Brilliant writing, casting and directing. Brad Pitt and Jason Stratham’s best performances. I love the fight scene at the end. The build up, the brutality, the zinger. I could watch this movie over and over and every time find something new to love about it. My kids are sick of me quoting it. LOL
Guy’s name is not, and has never been, Stratham.
This performance of brads is up there for me but i really love his role as cliff booth. My favourite performance of his
True
Brad did the accent perfectly. A big achievement.
Bratt is "Achilles"and nobody can bet that Performance!Ok another Film,no martial Art but offff.....
"Brad Pitt called up Guy Ritchie to see if the filmmaker had any part for him in his new film, Ritchie said "yes", but after the phone conversation ended, Ritchie realized that he offered Pitt a part in Snatch that did not exist. He rewrote the movie with a part for Pitt: Mickey O'Neil." Sometimes a re-write for an actor turns out well.. wonder what it would have been otherwise.
What actually happened was pitt was offered another part but couldn't master the cockney accent. He could do a passable Irish traveller accent however and Mickey was born. Worked out for the best imo.
@@jimwocha4949 surprising cause he can nail most accents... even jamaican
@@jimwocha4949 And now the cockney accent apparently is fading away due to mass immigration, so it wouldn't have mattered if he couldn't do it, it's obsolete! apples and pears!
Americans do find it hard to do Reginal English accents convincingly. Look at the famous dick van dyke's famous cockney attempt 😂
Thats utter bollocks
Snatch is an absolute cinematic masterpiece! Every aspect from the littlest background noise to casting was flawless. So many storylines with so many unique & powerful performances that were all beautifully entwined to tell a single story. It’s just a phenomenally genius piece of work that will stand the test of time & still be talked about for generations!
This movie was perfect in every aspect. Pitt's best performance ever. That freeze frame shot with the look on Brad's face in contrast to the shock on the other two is just brilliant.
Brad Pitt's best performance and not even close.
brought his experience from fight club for the role and worked brilliantly
It’s Ocean’s 11, but he’s great in this.
I would say Ad Astra, but I think I'm realizing you were kidding.
@@reedkellner6447 I'm a big sci fi fan and I was so excited to see this movie. I thought Brad did a good job but the movie left me flat. The other Pitt movie I really liked was Meet Joe Black.
This is really really great, but I love fight club. Tyler Durden is his best performance in my opinion.
One of the best movies I ever watched!!! 50% of the dialogs have become iconic phrases
Have you seen "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (also by Guy Ritchie)? Snatch is a spiritual sequel to that movie. Basically all events have some grounding in reality, not that they happend as seen, but were talked about as if they were and Guy Ritchie wrote down all those stories. That's why he didn't do third one in this style - basically all the best stories are encapsulated in those two movies. Even the cast is very similar, although they play new characters.
@@Deadhammer218 Do ya like dags?
@@djnato10 Why would I buy a caravan without any wheels?
"it was at a funny angle" 😂
I've watched this film so many times I basically know the entire script off by heart. This particular scene gives me goosebumps. Oasis tune in the background and a sublime KO from Mickey, you can't go wrong
i thought you said he'was a getaway driver. what the fuck can he get away from aye?
@@deathrager2404 "you're a natural ain't ya Tyrone?" "Course I am."
Did you remember the end credits as well ? Every actor that played in the movie big amd small ? ... think again you prick
It's not as if it's a packet of fucking peanuts
Ok what they say at 34:54?
This scene shows the brutality of organized crime. It also demonstrates that someone like Brick Top who thought he was invincible , was only feared by his own men.
Oh. I never thought about it like that. I just thought it was fuckin funny. I'm such a shallow ass
I think he was feared by the underworld, but in the UK the gypsies tend to have this sort of aura about them that even the underworld don’t want to get involved with them. Because you can be powerful like Brick Top, and maybe have 50 of your men around you at all times. But Gypsies are all connected by family and if they come after you hundreds are coming and they aren’t going to stop until they’ve done you serious damage. Not the sort of people you want after you. Some of them live for violence and conflict. It’s what their life centres around. Settling disputes.
@@DDavy2014 no, because there's "micky's" that are not afraid of the criminal underworld. Part of it or not. Safety in numbers, huge groups are babies alone. The lone who stands alone are best left alone because when you can take it, you never get beat just cut and bruised the body aches, unless killed heals, people look at me and judge me a mess, not a held held high broken face, unless your in the know, that little bit deeper. danny200 see's it correctly. Your faith in yourself has got to be greater than your fear of others, who needs back up anyway !
@@DDavy2014And don't forget, gypsys have not much to lose.
@@DDavy2014we all the same in all the countries my family been. Now in italy an Albanian killed a second cousin of mine, in the end albanians backed up. I didnt do anything i have lots of uncles cousins and brothers they made things right
How nice of Achilles to play with his prey like that.
Pitts punch into water visual.... so extremely well done, and you understand its symbolism instinctively. And when he snaps up and lays out the other guy, its seems like the only logical conclusion. Man I love this movie. Made Guy Richie a legend.
The out of body experience part ( mikey falling into the water ) is goose bump triggering!!!
Why?
😂😂 what a funny experience, how long have you been a fan?
Brick Top, “in the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again?” Classic
The entire movie is full of quotes. One liners strung into a plot. Brilliant piece of writing.
There's absolutely nothing to throw out in this movie. This writing 10/10 The cast 10/10 The scenario 10/10 The reallisation 10/10 The music 10/10
6:26 😂 I love this line!
I'll give ya yer shoota ya cynt 😂
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George. Brick Top: How could you lose him, he's not a set of car keys. It's not like he's incon-fucking-spicuous!
This movie never gets old. Pitt at his best, alongside "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button". "Meet Joe Black" is up there, too.
Brad Pitt doesn't look like a boxer at all.
@@stampedmetalsword8099What does a boxer look like?😀
cause his role aint a boxer. his role is pikey&hustler&street fighter and he looks like that. wake up and smell the coffee@@stampedmetalsword8099
Seven also
@richardmendoza4389 Don't also forget, Fight Club.
Damn I love this movie. Funny and so damn cool at the same time.
Brad Pitt's best performance is Floyd from True Romance....but he is great in this too and also he is great in Fight Club
You're about the 3rd person to even know that movie exists besides me n my buddy from work.
That is some great reference right there. And I agree. Oscar worthy performance as Floyd in True Romance.
True romance is so underrated...fuggi brilliant film..
@@Clubber-Slangdon't be condescending me bro - 😊 There's @ least 4 of us that know about it....
@timfarney5165 "I ain't got a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out. All I got is fuckin Floyd"......make that 5 of us
"If you want your friend to hear you, you'll have to talk a lot louder than that" Underated line
This movie is fantastic. 10/10!
Brad Pitt Nails the role in Snatch and after his performance in the Mexican. We need more movies like guy Ritchie's snatch, it's funny and it's just a guy movie. Well done, the pikers were always one step ahead of the Criminal greed in the world. The cast is top notch and never a dull moment.
You said Guy Ritchie's snatch. 🤣
The Pikies ARE criminal greed
In the boxing match, was waiting for the magical punch 🤛.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
5:27 mickeys look of absolute rage over the murder of his mother is insane it’s like in that very moment he’s plotting his revenge against bricktop. This entire scene the boxing and his revenge is just bad af!
Guy Richie is pure brilliance

This is a favourite of mine has everything funny, well written great characters 👍
You're dancing like a faaairy lol :D I love this movie.
The editing from 2:05 is some of the most visceral and kinetic filmmaking I’ve ever seen.
And ...they did it wit 30 bucks budget 😅😅😅😅, outstanding film making ..know 2 guys on the crew ..almost every night the whole crew went pub crawling and fighting with Vinny Jones....😅😅😅
Absolutely perfect movie!!!
I heard an Englishman say once “If Americans knew how well Brad played a pikey, he would have gotten an Oscar”
I'll give it a 10! 📽🎬🎞
This is a movie you really have to grow up to appreciate. I remember watching this when I was younger, and finding it extremely boring and hard to follow. But once I got into an age where I could actually take in the movie, it became one of my all time favorites. But you know what? This last fight scene, with the song and the editting, stuck with me, even when I was younger and couldn't quite get it
really? i watched this on VHS when it came out at 14, it was fucking amazing.
Brad Pitts best performance IMO is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood….. But, this Snatch role comes a close FN 2nd….
Everyone in London is genuinely afraid to mess with the Gypsies. Even the black gangs that hang around harassing everyone don't bother the Gypsies, to unpredictable. I found this out living in London as a Scot with a thick Glasgow accent. All these gangs just left me alone but would pick on other people around me, I later found out its because of my accent. These lads can't tell what my accent is but it sounds to them like it's Irish Gypsy so they always just left me alone to sit and eat my food or read my paper or what ever I was doing.
Great song choice for this fight too. Fucking in the Bushes by Oasis
Oasis-Fucking in the bushes works so well with this scene.
It was perfect!
Thanks for your comment. Everything about this scene is perfect. It's definitely the icing on the cake.
I love my surface 5, i got it for £500 the 15inch/512gb/16gb ram, second hand still under warranty , plus a surface dock and the pen,i found the display to be mega vivid and looks almost as good as macbook m3 and for a lcd the black levels are superb. Performance really good, the fan barley kicks in and is not loud(i had same specs a Samsung book 360 pro 2 and the fan was always on) the surface is a great solid laptop
Major fan of Guy Ritchie. This is sterling stuff. Beautifully succint and well filmed. 5 stars!
Guy’s camerawork is so unique
4:30 This must be the hardest hit on the planet. The way the schot this scene is incredible.
I don't how Guy Ritchie has this idea of diving when the KO occurs. Such a brilliant directing idea.
Masterpiece !!
That movie is a real blast from the beginning to the end.
Love this movie!
Such a great film, top 10 of all time.
Not even close lol
@@INFJ-ThaneTr For a Brit
Not much of a Brad Pitt fan but inglorious bastards and this are in my all time favorites
They don't make them like this anymore😢
I still don't understand how Bricktop thought he could kill this man's mother and not end up in some serious shit with the Pikeys. He really thought he was untouchable, I guess.
he underestimated the gypsies
I don't understand why Bricktop would need him to take a dive. Just bet on him and hype up the other guy.
Outstanding !!
Was ecstatic to hear this Oasis track in this movie...such a great walk out song and riff
Could watch this film every day, brilliant
You know that meme format of Leo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street holding a beer , sitting in a chair and pointing at the TV? that was Quentin Tarantino watching this scene ❤
It was Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Snatch + Big Lebovsky = 100% iconic phrases
This and Jesse James are his two best roles.
PIKEYS reaction is another thing to see...lol
One of the Best Crime Comedies I ever watched. A Masterpiece by Guy Ritchie !
Amazing Movie.
Great movie!
This ain’t our first time watching this, is it lads?
This truly showed the world that Guy was a force to be reckoned with. He's every bit as good as QT in my book. All his work is premium.
Next James bond. Jason Statham.
This is my favorite Guy Ritchie movie 😊
Telling mickey to make it seem authentic but not knock his opponent out looks like telling fire to not burn a dry log 😂
Мне одному Стэтхем больше нравится в таких ролях? Когда он в супергероев партию вступил ни одной роли нормальной нет.
Love it
One ov the best gangsta films ov all time...fuckin love it..
“For every action there is a reaction and a pikey reaction is quite a fucking thing”
One of the most brilliant movies ever made.
This is one of all time favorite scenes. Cued up with Fuckin in the Bushes, it's such an awesome, unexpected series of events
One of the best scenes in this magnificent movie.
Brads the best in everything he does, a f'n 10 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is such a great movie. If you stumbled on to this and never saw the movie go watch it.
Brad did well in that film
One of, if not Brad's best.
The other one would have to be se7en.
yep ill give you that@@TheJohnbjunior
Best one was his fight with Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Guy Ritchie. No more needs to be said...
I don’t care if he’s Mohammad I’m ‘ard, Bruce Lee…. you can’t change fighters.
Brad pitt, 1 meet joe black, 2 fight club, 3 legend of the falls, 4 snatch, 5 once upon , 6 bro just a good actor really
11. Could not have seen that coming in that extreme. Tied together rxceptionally with the music.
If you want your friend to hear you, you're gonna have to talk a lot louder than that. Cold.
Bril!. One of only a couple of Brad Pitt movies I like!. Nuff said 🙂
I was born in the 80s. It sucks here now. Thanks to you…
@@whemohguy7020 WTF?
man, almost all of Brad Pitt's roles are the standard of quality
This movie was so good at the time... though KZhead has given a whole new insight into the travellers' world of bareknuckle boxing compared to this I'd say
Yeah this is silly albeit entertaining
What a nice physique he had. 💪😎👍
The song makes it even ( if possible) better
He would make a good pikey Fairplay😂😂😂
When others don't play by the RULES, it would be WISE to prepare accordingly.
That shot of him watching the trailer burn with tears in his eyes is sooo so powerful
A movie from a time when people were really creating new things and weren't busy with remakes, sequels, prequels, and comic book movies with progressive content.
Ten. I had this scene on my channel like five six years ago and YT removed it.

I'll have to watch this movie sometime...
Pitt at his best 👏👏
The local theater marquee for this film was a masterpiece of timing, luck, and snark. It read: The Mexican Chocolat Snatch
Our local theater marquee once read: Fun With Dick And Jane
Erin brockovich Screwed My dog skip Nothing will top that
