    • Richson was better in season 1 but cruise and Richson are about tied in season 2. Season 2 saw Reacher's IQ drop about 50 points from the 150s down to the 100s. I hope they fix Reacher in season 3. They turned him into a stupid action star in season 2. And they did so by changing the book to remove scenes where he showed intelligence and replaced them with scenes where he was a stupid action figure who thought with his little head.

  • I think the reason Cruise works in this role despite not being accurate to the books description of Reacher is because most people wouldn't expect Cruise to be a badass at first glance. Now Ritchson, on the other hand, just one look at the guy should give you the hint that he's not one to mess with

    • You are exactly right. This movie was incredibly enjoyable. Cruise is a great actor. He should have taken the same story and changed the name. You should really read the books, though. You will find that the characters size plays a pivotal role in every interaction and scenario in the story. Even the fact that he can not ride comfortably in most cars, and can threaten even the toughest guys without saying a word. Cruise is not believable as the guy that hardened military and mercenary spec ops guys would be cautious of just from looks alone.

Now for a real story, I met an ordinary looking,, small to medium size guy who just happened to be an elite soldier who took down guys much taller and supposedly more physically stronger than him. It’s down to strength of character, ability and professionalism that will always surpass looks.

For what the movies were, Tom was the best person for the role at that time in spite of the glaring mistakes (height, weight, etc). • I personally enjoyed both films. Watched tbe movies before even knowing the character.but. enjoyed the first season of reacher a lot. Not so much the second season. But i still enjoyed the movies.

    @Tunny01@Tunny016 күн бұрын
    • Yeah the writing in the second season felt really cliched, Jack telling everyone including people who should have arrested him that he was just going to kill everyone over and over again got dumb real fast. And the group dynamics felt off for some reason even though the actors did a great job. We had the love interest the comedian and the stoic sidekick, just didn't work as well as those style of character from season one.

  • I got sad when sandy got killed. She played good character and made you believe she had a really hard life and been abused. She deserves a good acting career as her eyes and facial expressions showed believeable pain and sadness. She should be getting massive roles

If that doesn't qualify for cray-cray, then I don't know what does.

  • When I was 13, my 17 year old sister5'2" ,95 pounds, bet me she could hold her fist 3 inches from my arm and hit me harder than I could her. I was very young and took het up on it. Of course I got to go first from three inches. Hit her on the shoulder and barely moved her. Then she held her fist three inches from my arm and proceeded to swing her elbow around as hard as she could and frogged my shoulder and hit me as hard with her little 95 pound self as I have ever been hit by anyone.

  • I remember thinking I liked this Reacher. I hadn’t read the books and had no concept of the character. But after Ritchsons portrayal I just can’t buy it anymore. Especially that first clip of the 5 guys where only the leader would reach(heh) over Reachers shoulders. His sheer size would intimidate the rest after the first guy gets decked. Don’t get me wrong, Cruise does a fine job as.. whoever his character is, but it just doesn’t feel like Reacher.
