When you pray for rain, you have to deal with the mud to. Love this line, it's true.
amen xoxo
Best line in this movie
*too
People only pray for rain when it's dry, so it's cute but meaningless.
yea but how does the chicken cross the road.?
He’s such an amazing actor, he’s literally perfect for this role.
He's perfect for any role. The cool thing about Equalized 3 is Dakota Fanning is a CIA agent in it, and she was the girl he rescued from cartel kidnappers in "Man on Fire." That's a damn great movie too.

You aren't kidding,! Always liked his movies
Acting!!!! But black.... And not Reeves. We get it. He's black. OK!!!

Possibly the best actor in hollywood. I love the fact he stays out of the spot light. True to his wife and don't live like some of the hollyweirdos.

I like how he actually gives him 9 seconds. every other movie goes "THERE ARE 30 SECONDS LEFT ON THE TIMER" and proceed to give us five minutes of action
Like the destruction of Namek in DBZ supposed to blow up in 5 minutes but the fight lasted like 4 episodes
lmao
@@GrnVkngand naruto great ninja war was only 2 days 😂
I like how he shot ten shots out of the revolver
@Evil_Deadite do some gun research... Ruger has a 10 shot revolver... I see you dont know guns lol.. just the bs they tell you about on tv
Dude should get an oscar for every scene he shows up in.
Right?
Did you know that in oscar is the word scar?
I’m telling you!!!!!
Cus $20 million per movie isn’t enough. Lol
I don't think so. You're supposed to be some solemn badass who's going to have choreographed fight scenes I imagine it would be pretty easy to deliver these lines in a low tone.
What an amazing dialog delivery. Denzel builds that tense moments by those voice modulations, right pauses at the right moments, right inflictions. He is telling the story and it comes to you like a picture across your eye. Amazing actor. Hope he does more and more movies.
Denzel is brilliant. Knows his craft and a magnificent human being to boot .
'inflections'
@@maciej.ratajczak True but why? Why correct the obvious as a man capable of logic and reason? He clearly made his point which means he in all probability knows he wrote the wrong word. If his statement was incorrect then correcting his mistake would be justifiable. Since his statement is correct, there is no reason to correct his statement. If you understood his statement which you do, then you should also understand that he doesn't need spell correct as logic dictates he spoke the truth therefore there is no reason to beat him up over spelling. For if he did not understand, you would not have responded. Think about it my brother. The fact that you responded means you took the time to reflect and understand. Your actions will encourage others. The man who recognizes the truth before speaking will give truth to others. You are the embodiment of said man; sorely lacking in society today. The man ho can can speak, reflect and respond to the truth he knows is the true embodiment of enlightenment. Amazing how a nearly 70 year old man can sell us all on him being an elite killer, able to handle multiple bad ass enemies in seconds!
Must be a John Wick fan!
Its a movie just entertainment
I see. I'm just 70 now. What do you think are your odds against me?
I am 71 years old. that is all you know about me. What do you think your chest's are against me? I would like to know.
Clearly you don't understand the world, you're a shallow and stupid. John wicks are out there. There are John wakes out there. Maybe I'm one of them. Maybe I'm not, I'm 71 years old. “See! Help and company.” Absolutely chilling when he says it in the context he does.
That's such a good line right at the start. "When you pray for rain you gotta deal with the mud too."
I'm petitioning Congress to create a law making it illegal for Denzel to get older.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅So on point 👌🏾

Clint Eastwood did/does some excellent work in his later years

blks do not get old only raisins do.
I loved this take on the Equalizer, and how Denzel has made this character his own. Apparently he loves playing McCall, and it shows. Not shown here because it's not a badass threat, but the "You got no idea what death is" in 2 is so damn powerful. Can't wait to see 3 soon.
I like the threats that aren’t threats particularly “if you tell them to lay down and put their hands behind their back they’ll do that ye”
I saw 3 and I can tell you 1 thing, it's one of the few movies that their sequels are just as good as the others.
You’ve spoiled like half the fight scenes from 3 just by watching this video lol
I love the fact that Antoine isn't afraid to just let the camera sit on Denzel. The camera loves his face.
the camera is wet and dirty
Antoine Fuqua is incredibly talented director
The Equalizer franchise with Denzel is one that never lost quality across its three films and I love how the mystery of who he was before and what he has done remains, even to us the audience. If they ever want to explore his past though, I hope they do it absolute justice!
The mystery is always better. Always. And whenever the movies explain things, they do it in the stupidest spoon feeding way. Like the little boy story. It's not even enough to explicitly say "things a child might steal". He has to keep going and explain everything. And say it in Russian, and then say it in English, too. It's mind numbing. It's an action movie. It's supposed to be dumb. But as far as mystique and writing go, it's a joke. About the only thing they got right was the mystery. I'd rather they kept it.
@@davidf2244 Absolutely agree 💯 A lot of these movies do a shit job at fleshing out a good story. I honestly do hope they keep the mystery as it is
The second one was my least favorite. The finale setting was really weird, like the weather was forced so it was more dramatic.
Season 4 will be coming. We can learn a lot watching this series. It’s ugly outside.
Perfectly said.
Great movies,I love them all. Denzel is so good and he chooses excellent scripts.
Denzel in this movie is gettin to overweight and looks like he is in pain while doing this movie. Sorry to see one of the best startin to slide.
Girl, stop complaining lol @@cdawg9149
Kinda like the lier-in-chief in Our White House right now! Now people, let's do the right thing and vote this POS Out of OUR Government!
I can't think of anyone would play the Equalizer better than denzel it's like he was built for this role
Nonsense.
He could keep making these, and I'll keep on watching. High quality stuff.
The first scenario with the russian guy in the restaurant is brilliant; Excellent acting from both;
The most cold-blooded thing in any of these films (now that I am a father) is definitely mingling with the family, and picking up the child of the man he's going to dispose of. That shit hits different now.
definitely on a different level of savage. As the father I'd be so uncomfortable I can't think straight.
Was just looking for this comment it was so cold the switch between a giddy happy man to cold blooded killer is so ruthless
The writing is sublime. He is connecting that whole sequence to "family".
Also notice that he doesn't turn his back on the crew until he picks up the kid.
That's why it's best to be MGTOW if you're going to be a dirty outlaw. We all make choices in life.
One of only a very few in Hollywood that not only has made great movies over 30 years or more but never once heard a negative thing about him. He was a caring father. Can remember when he attended & spoke when one of his children graduated from hard U of P Wharton school.
Ya good actor, good husband, good father and such an intelligent man. I literally stop and soak up everything he says when he speaks in interviews because I know I am about to learn something.
@ashleymurphy5921: People who listen, learn always. People who talk never learn!!
The best scene by far is when he finds the long lost sister of the old jew. He was fighting to get a painting of her, but instead of that painting Robert finds the sister herself. No fighting scene could ever match that level of joy. 🥰🥰🥰😊😊
Which film is this in?
@@SMH-fm9cc The second one...the one where he's a Lyft driver. The Orson Bean character, the "old Jew," was one of Robert's Lyft passengers.
@@wannawatchu66I didn’t like his description of Mr. Bean’s character. I felt like he could have used less crass language.
What most don't realize is that Susan "looked into" that for Robert and do helped him find the long lost sister
@@jillfromatlanta427 I think this was clearly discussed and shown by Susan’s comment on the phone. That is why part 3, without giving too much away is so satisfying and makes the whole series come full circle. Susan clearly was Robert’s friend and he returns all her favors, big time.
Denzel is the best. I love this series, The Book Of Eli, The Little Things. He just gets better with age. If we had an army of men like his character in the Equalizer series, we could clean up a lot of corruption.
Damn right!
Check out "Man on fire" as well (if you haven't already), it's pretty similar to this one.
The equalizer franchise is a movie that you will not be disappointed. From 1 to 3 are highly recommended.
Denzel is an angel sent to defend the weak
I loved the way Denzel & Fuqua had him play Robert. I was a huge fan of the old Edward Woodward CBS series of the 80s and thought this movie series was splendid and was a good take and homage to the old series. The reasoning for McCall’s trek to Italy was quintessential Equalizer, “Got a Problem, Odds Against You, Call the Equalizer. “ The last film really reminded me of an old Western where the gunfighter who has done some unspeakable things is looking for redemption and he befriends, protects, and defends a small town from big baddies. The Italian locations were breathtakingly beautiful. A nice happy ending and good closure for an entertaining well done trilogy of films.
More like a demon
You mean innocent people...
One of the best actors of all times, straight forward , hard working, respectful to himself and his family , every movie he act , awesome movie, with integrity and quality, the best👍🫶
"What do you see, when you look at me... ?" Denzel as it's best. Love the Equalizer movies.
This is a Man On Fire!
MOF … Fantastic movie.

I've been binging equalizer scenes for nearly a week now... it's so good
26 minutes reminding me how good this movie is and Denzel makes it so great. All characters are believable and earn worthy recognition for their performance too.
This man has been brilliant ever since i first learned of him. Absolutely amazing!
Badass is an understatement.
Dang, I love Denzel as this guy. So perfect.
Robert McCall does not make threats, he simply tells people exactly what he will do. Then he follows through with efficient ferocity.
My Man!!! He has the skills of a Gladiator and the attitude of A Hannibal Lector. He’s a Professional assassin.
Just binged all three of the movies in a row. What amazing stuff. Especially the first one had some insanely good cinematography and musical interludes. Such a good watch.
I just discovered #3, and watched the other two... I felt late to the party.

6:56 the gunman to his right is literally shaking after hearing Denzel tell the boss that he's already dead and doesn't know it yet. Great subtle acting by that actor whoever that was!
When Denzel gives that thousand yard stare, it’s almost unnerving, because it makes me think what headspace did he have to put himself in to get into that character
Love how they show buddy killing shorty w a knife but beeps out the curse words lmaooo
That works on villains every time. You tell them they have exactly 9 seconds and they're all "Great, we have 9 seconds!" and then you attack after 3 seconds and they're completely caught off guard...

nicoli genuinely enjoyed that delivery. denzel is truly a powerful creation.
Most of these just showed the bully/bad guys thought no one could touch them, until they met Robert, so it was always satisfying when Robert even the odds for the underdogs getting bullied. He was the shepherd protecting the innocents. The dynamic that got me(hoping if they ever do a prequel that we get to see his hit squad with Dave(Pedro Pascal). It was sad that his former friend and team member killed Susan, his other friend. Tell me I'm wrong, Dave, struck a cord.
When you pray for the rain, you gonna deal with the mud
Denzel and I are the same age. The 1st time I saw him was in the movie Glory and I knew he was a powerful actor. He has only gotten better as the years have gone by!
He should have got an Oscar for his role in Glory The part where they are around the campfire.
@@davidheath3788 Yes! He and Morgan’s interaction was awesome!
First movie I saw him in was carbon copy, a comedy. Yeah knew he was going to be great 👍🏼
" when you pray for rain 🌧️ you gotta be able to deal with the mud!" One of the coldest sayings
The way he sits back in the chair with the silhouette of light coming through that window after killing those men without showing any emotion gives me the chills! 🥶 🧊
Denzel passes the beer test. When I look at famous people I look at their career life and personal life judge whether I could sit down and have a beer with and enjoy that time.
I love it when Robert/Denzel dropped the broken glasses into Nicolai's wine glass after the discussion.. I believe that was a heart to heart conversation the Russian would never forget.
Greatest actor alive. And one with a big heart.
That's the first time I've ever seen a revolver fire 11 rounds without reloading. Magic! 😂

He took the unlimited ammo pack.😋
He pressed 'R' to reload after 6 shots

It used to happen so much in westerns that you wondered when Colt made belt fed six shooters.
Denzel is such a gifted actor. Brilliant artist. Nuanced in revealing the character within the story within the character.
Denzil Washington is one of the greatest actors ever and also one of the world's greatest human beings! 😁👍
All murders committed by "The Equalizer" are epic. I rewatch these moments from time to time. Particularly unusual scene was a robbery of the store, where the murder of the robber happens off-screen, and Robert puts the hammer back to the shelf
I look forward to re-reading this comment on the news, as the 3-letters say, "He was known to us".
And returns rhe woman's ring
About the only times the movies got it perfectly right were the mysteries.
"The murder of the robber" is an oxymoron. There are no "murders" of the bad guys.
He does not murder anyone.....

Well, yeah.👍
Sounds good but he trained for these roles and it fits his way of thinking now ,DUDE IS BLESSED WITH INSIDE
You too?!?
Denzel using that guy's head as a silencer for the revolver at 7:06 was insane!
A silencer is completely useless/without effect on 99% of revolvers, because of escaping gases around the cylinder. Silencers only work for sealed guns, where all gases escape out of the muzzle.
I believe it was a shield
Absolutely amazing acting. I love all the shows that he's been in. Here are just a few. Of course The Equalizer series, Flight, Man on Fire, The book of Eli, Training Day, Remember the Titans, John Q, The Hurricane. We are so blessed to be living in this time when he's acting.

He told them exactly what he was gonna do, they didn't listen. Especially the dude to his left, didn't even bother to take a few steps back after hearing he was a foot too close 😂
Shows a revolver going through an eyeball, same revolver shoots through the same head Later scene: "Hey guys woah woah woah... censor the word 'fuck' alright?"
Denzel is frankly the man. Love it
Only now noticed he shot the mob boss close range with a shotgun, in the ass. Jesus 😂
My favorite two actors are Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. They only played in one movie together(Philadelphia) which is a shame. While both are equally great, I always felt Tom shows so much of his nice guy personality in his roles that he might be just being HIM. Denzel, this is where is might be a tad better. Like a Humphrey Bogart, Denzel has played so many deep characters with so many different styles that frankly he's a chameleon. That is the ultimate type of actor, one who can play different roles from friend to foe, protagonist to antagonist. Like Bogey being rank number 1 in the golden era, Denzel should be rank number one in the current era.
Thanks for the ride lady luck. And there's no such thing as luck😂😂
Doing the lord's work. Bloody damn cool. Each film is equally good, kick ass and well made. Is it better than John Wick? I think so.
