10 months later and I also regret buying this piece of shit of a mouse. The first 6 months it was ok no problems but now it got to a point where I can't even use it to browse the web without it disconnecting or freezing and it made me go insane. Don't buy this sorry excuse of a wireless mouse, there are better ones out there for this price.
Hate to see it but can’t say I’m surprised!
@Slurp Doodle man, both options (bluetooth & Dongle) uses battery. Although the dongle reduces the battery life. In bluetooth it lasts (they say) 450h and the dongle 250h. But in my opinion the dongle is more stable.
Using Bluetooth is 100% since it could drop causing a stutter in your mouse experience. I normally stick to using the usb receiver on my computer for lag free gaming. And if I ever needed the Bluetooth function I’d use it on a non gaming device!
@@KryptonicHD true... or for working porpuses. ;)
mine often jumping on screen and randomaly clicking idk if thats mouse or whatever
I've had the mouse for about a year and have had no problems so far with the connection. The only problem I've had which was the double click and I've only experienced it after 8 months. I managed to fix the issue by opening up the mouse and replacing the omron switches inside with Kailh GM 8.0s, though taking this option will require you to buy replacement mouse skates to be able to use it again and voiding your warranty.
Yea I’ve had my mine for 6+ months and now after I click and hold. It stops registering the click and as a hardcore FPS player when the full auto gun stops shooting during a gunfight. It’s great. So fantastic.
It would do the same thing to me on Overwatch 😅😅
@@KryptonicHD well thats frustrating. Have you found a possible solution? Cause it’s like once a day. And my blood already runs hot when I play COD 😭😭😭
@@hollywoodundead1010 is there any fix to this? Its killing me in warzone
@@tedrion6420 so there is a fix to this. It's a really weird tho. So I went to Canada computers and just bought a new mouse lol but I don't believe there is a fix which sucks. I got the Logitech g50 hero cause it's almost the exact same shape
@@tedrion6420 Have you tried using an air duster to clean the mouse? this problem happened to me although with a different mouse but still cleaning your mouse may solve the problem since the dust can affect the sensor of the triggers.
Ive been using this mice for 8 months and there was totally no problems. I actually even accidentally dropped it 3 times but still no problems with the clicking and everything. I still value you opinion though.
Thank you for this, I really appreciate it. At the end of the day it's just my opinion and I just want others to know that if they run into similar issues, that they're NOT crazy! Sometimes companies do things like, change materials and the general consumer wouldn't notice unless somebody made a video! But if it's a small problem then obviously people who don't run into the problem immediately bash it! For every comment on here saying "I haven't had a single problem" you have a comment saying the opposite. I've used a ton of different peripherals and Razer is honestly my favorite because it's like Apple in the way that it feels so premium. BUT lately companies have gotten into the habit of High $$ and low quality and WHY should WE the consumers not say a thing? Thanks again for at least seeing my side .
i have mine (not razor) for 8 years and didn't change a bit. Feels like new. And it cost me 20€. And yes, i play everyday
Just got this mouse.. I’m hoping before I unbox it there’s no glaring issues off the bat and it lasts as long as yours did
@@YouSurfin same my cheap logitech k270 wireless mouse has been dropped hundreds of times and lasted 7-8 years and no issues, until the other day when i knocked it into my hot cup of tea... now i need a new mouse.
Just a heads up to everyone looking at this video that all mice with omron 50m switches in them are quite likely to encounter the double click issue. Pretty much all current logitech mice, razer mice (aside from the ones with optical switches) and many other popular mice are using these switches at this time. Don't buy a mouse with omron 50m switches or it's very likely that you'll have to get a replacement very soon. Older omron switches like the 20m are fine, however.
100% ! I bought a G305 and it's an optical mouse and it's been working like a peach!
@KryptonicHD can you name some mice with 20m please ?
@@AbuJ3fr most older mice will have 20m switches (as in like the last generation of g502s or something) but they're pretty hard to find so I'd recommend buying a razer mouse with optical switches as that way you know there'll be no double click issue. Other brands' optical switches should be good too. I bought a razer basilisk v2 when this video was released and I've had pretty much no issues with it so far.
what about omron 60m switches (clutch gm41)?
@@Ayva_K I don't know, I'd suggest doing some research of your own. The 50m double click issue is pretty well known so if you don't see people talking about it for the 40m then you should be good.
"All 4 mice feel different" Yep, exactly. I have 4 Razer Atheris mice, the first one felt great, which is why I bought a 2nd one. 2nd one felt similar to the first one, but the third one felt different, it had more flex on the side (made a creaky noise if you pressed the side with your thumb) and the clicks felt mushier. I had to shave off a bit of the contact surface underneath the clicks to get mouses 2 & 3 to feel identical to the first one. The fourth one arrived with such mushy-feeling clicks that I haven't even bothered using it. After the above experiences with my Atheris's, I 100% agree with you that Razer has a quality control problem. You can get 4 of the same exact mouse and they all feel different.
For those who are experiencing disconnects, after almost a year with basilisk x i found out why. Both the synapse and razer driver that cause the problems. Once I uninstalled the synapse and razer driver (my pc recognizes it as a generic mouse in device manager), I never had a disconnection again. And always use the dongle on a usb 2.0, of course.
Noted. I'm buying the mouse for my brother and it's the only wireless mouse he can afford that fits in his hands. I usually thanos snap the Razer garbage anyway and if that's the fix perfect.
thanks for this comment
Didn't work for me, but thanks.
I also have the same mouse and love it. Good connectivity, good shape, not heavy, GREAT battery life! My double click issue started after about 6 months. It taught me how to use a soldering iron. The stock switches are rubbish. I already changed my left and right click. Done it for a few mice, now I can do it in half hour =)
where you buy the parts to do that?
@@lilsinl6118 Check local electronics shop or better use donor mouse. Cost of delivery not worth it when buying through internet. Now happily running on Huano switches from cheap MSI mouse for couple years ;)
every mouse nowadays has that double clicking issue to them using cheap chinese switches, it doesn't matter which brand you get they ALL have this issue
@@lilsinl6118 Sorry I thought I replied. I got mine from Taobao/AliExpress. Using Omron D2F-F-3-7 on 2 different mouses for over a year. So far no issue at all. Hope it help.
I got a Basilisk V2 when it first came out a couple years ago, and every. single. button. rattles, left and right-click is loose, the scroll wheel is loose, both top buttons wiggle a lot, and both side buttons wiggle a lot, the only one that doesn't is the Hypership magnetic paddle on the side, it might have been less wiggly when I first got it, but I'm pretty sure it's always been at least somewhat rattly. I'm looking to get a G703 or (hopefully) a G-Pro X SL, these holidays to go with my new G815 I'm also getting. I tried Razer for 3 years, first a Keyboard, then a year later a Mouse and Headset, (don't get me started on the software problems I've had with this headset) but I'm ready to switch to Logitech for my main peripherals, I also get more choice which is a bonus as Logitech does loads of different types of product.
Mine is just completely not turning on at this point. Brand new battery’s won’t turn on no matter what I do. I even opened it up and made sure nothing looked blown or disconnected.
I have that double clicking issue on my Logitech G603, except its not on the left click, only on the right click, but it happens basically every time I right click, so I basically can't play FPS games unless there's no ADS system, like in team fortress 2, which I haven't played.
Mine has issues with connectivity, right click and hold was sometimes discnecting, left click has the same rattle as yours, and the scroll wheel only works when the reciever is super close
Daing you had so many problems!
Great video. I was looking into buying this one but I think I''ll keep looking. Thanks for the info man.
Like I always tell people, if you can find another mouse then go for that. But if you really only have this mouse as an option, you can take a chance and see if this works for you, but so far everybody comes back to complain! I'm using the G305 and it's been super great!
@@KryptonicHD been using the G305 for two weeks now. It is such a quality mouse. Feels great and haven’t had one problem disconnecting. Appreciate it dude.
So is G305 better than basilisk ultimately?
@@limzy9939 same question ?
So i got my Basilisk x 2½ years ago cuz it handles similar to my old Logitech mice (g5, g500, g500s and g700s) but is was lighter and Wireless. After 3 months i Had the Double clicking as Well but replaced the switches for some mechanical ones. Also replaced the battery with a Lithium battery and got it some PTFE feet. All together was Like 30 mins and 15 bucks i use it ever since and its the best mouse i ever had. It's dead in 100g instead of 115g before including the battery. Slips great and clicks are dead in perfect
Mine also had the same issue of double clicking after about a year or so. Wasn’t really even gaming that hard
I have this mouse for about one year. It's been working fine, and I can say it's the only mouse I really like. It fits like a glove. I had some problems with the usb dongle, it fell apart after 2 months because my laptop gets hot around the usb area when in games. I managed to glue it back together. Now the mouse does not turn back on after it enters sleep mode. I have to turn it off and on. Sometimes that doesn't work, so I have to take out the battery for 10 seconds. Even now while writing this comment it froze.
Is there a solution to this?
I have the same problem. Very frustrating !
@@arilaze530 I think there is something you can try. I was using a rechargeable battery and I think it was kind of to used, but was showing 100% in software. I now put in a new normal alkaline battery and it seems to work fine.
@@arilaze530 Changing the battery only worked for a day. Now I teared apart the mouse and found that the wire plug coming from the battery was a little loose. I hope this fixes it.
Yeah I have a blackwidow elite keyboard and a mamba wireless mouse, the keyboard works fine and I like it but about a year after getting the mamba wireless, the right click started to not hold down when I wanted it to, making it really annoying trying to aim in games
It’s not that they’re bad products it’s just they’re not meeting basic quality standards for some products.
hey dude i was gonna buy the razer basilisk x hyperspeed but now im thinking about the deathadder v2 could you recommend me one?
Why would you upgrade to a different model if you are having issues with the one you had?
I know this might sound dumb, but did you switch the batteries?
Have had mine for a full year now and no issues whatsoever. Love this thing
I can agree. I have this mouse, I love it. I love how light it is and how easy to use it is, but I came across an Issue. My right click sometimes stops working mid-game and I lose gunfights because it stops working. Then I turned it off and back on then worked fine for a little while then started again :( troubleshooting issues?
How does the 2-year warranty work? Can you get it replaced if this issues occur?
I like razer deathadders and been using them for a while. My very first one double clicked, but years later, I got the latest one and it's been working just fine *touch wood*
Hi. Could you recomended this razer mouse in 2021?
Hey man, great video that you made. I just want to ask if considering a G305, a Rival 3 wireless. What would you choose?
The g305 is a solid option but it's a bit heavy. If you want something a tad lighter the orochi v2 wireless is what I'm using.
I have the DoubleClick issue as well. Interestingly enough. i never noticed it until now when i'm browsing. I ended up mapping another click to one of the side buttons since i just got a viper ultimate :D. Regarding the noise of the mouse, i actually never noticed it (400dpi user here too) since i have headphones on. but i have noticed the farther i put my finger down on the clicker(closer to the front) the more double clicks i get. so i guess claw the mouse over palming it? or only curl your index finger?
The fact that you have to change your playstyle because of how cheap a mouse is built is crazy to me. I still remember using my G305 before selling it thinking I'd be getting an upgrade. That mouse felt 10x better then the basilisk and never double clicked.
@@KryptonicHD i agree. The basilisk hyperspeed was my primary mouse for a few months, Luckily my viper ultimate is perfect. and ended up sending the basilisk hyperspeed back, i more than agree that I shouldn't' have to change my grip just to get a mouse to work. My friend who recommended the basilisk x hyperspeed has a flawless model, but the QC is simply not there for this mouse. I have noticed that Razer seems to cheap out on some of their low-mid tier gear, my Nari essential had issues, but the normal Nari has been flawless. While I think that every product should be fairly built and should work from the factory, it seems to me that this is razer's take on this. I have taken a few pokes at the basilisk ultimate and it seems that it is free of many of the hyperspeed's issues
I have Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed mouse 9 months now, and I didn't have problems.
Lucky! It’s a great mouse when it works well! My favorite budget wireless mouse and I use to recommend it all the time. But I’ve had to many people have problems with it at this point. Let’s hope you never have a problem with it 😇
hmm me two
@@KryptonicHD I have occasional double click issues. At least for me, ive noticed that if your finger is put at the very end of the paddle, it tends to double click more frequently (still rare). Putting my finger closer to the center, it feel sway better. i also have the slightly loose left clicks
Same
Me too
ive had the mouse over a year, maybe 2. the only problem ive ever had, is at some point in the last few months, the bluetooth mode completely stopped working. ive seen many others on forums have the same issue. nothing ive done hasbrought back my bluetooth mode. even the blue light never comes on anymore
Aaaaa, I just decided on a mouse))) and watched this video))) what should I do now? what else can you recommend?
I have a Deathadder for more than nine years now, the scrolling wheel broke last week and I was considering to get one Basilisk however this is the 3rd video that I saw reporting the issues with it, I will buy I replacement part and stay with my deathadder Drangon Age.
The viper seems good since it rocks different switches
Okay to clarify some misunderstanding, this video was made a year ago and the omron 50mm switches always had a problem of double clicking, this was a fault at omron and not the actual mice company. However, now they have fixed this issue so now you will never/almost never have a double clicking issue. To prove this take the g pro superlight it uses omron 50mm switches and doesn't have any problem of double clicking. So make sure you check other reviews as well, I do value your opinion but now since omron fixed their switches and razer + logitech have actually incorparated their mouse design to fit the omron 50mm switches, it makes no double clicking issue.
Ty
Further to clarify, all razer products now use optical switches (their own switches) so there will not be any problem of double clicking. Also if the mouse does dc or freeze its either ur cpu usage being too high it proritizes other programs or the mouse has run out of battery/worn out battery. Make sure to check the charge of ur battery and check ur batter performance mode to see when it goes off.
@@air79 Shall I get one now? How's your one holding up?
I bought this mouse a few weeks ago, it has a huge problem while gaming. So every once in a while it starts to move slower and keep centering, I have to unplug it then switch to another mouse then plug it back in order to fix it, I am guessing it might be the problem caused by its sleep function, but so far I don't find any solutions to it online.
i've had this mouse for more than a year and a half and i have no complaints about it honestly, i still feel like its pretty good
ive had it for like 3 months no complaints. awesome mouse now I can play on my bed
did you change the battery, and if you did how often?
@@jovanblazetovic6814 it takes a while to day, maybe a few months
@@PicklezOsu Alright, thanks a lot!
The problem is with razer, i had 3 different razer mice by now, and all of them broke, their left click double clicks or doesn't click some times. also all of them have tracking issues when used on a table or a different surface other than the mouse pad, tracking issues that cheap Microsoft and Logitech mice don't have.
But what if you use it not for gaming but for like normal use?
my mouse works fine but i have a problem with it when im gaiming randomly disconnects the batterys and it reconects them like 5 sec later so i cant use the mouse for 5 seconds
about to be 2 years and it happened to my razer basilisk essential and idk what the heck was the issue with my mouse until i looked up this issue and it seems to be something that occurs regular or more common that i thought it would. This annoys the heck outta me and looking for a mouse that doesn't have this issue is pain.
My sister got me a basilisk for Christmas, and when i tried it out, THE FIRST TIME I OPENED IT, it squeaks when I right click, it’s sooo annoying. I still might use it a little until it becomes too annoying then buy myself a new one, or contact razer.
I'd say to try contacting razer about it but there will only be so much they can do
I have a glitch where the mouse works fine but it messes with the computer like I can't open apps or change browsers when the mouse glitch
Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed or razer orochi v2 for fps gaming ?
Hey man can you help me out Mines just doesn't want to scroll, whenever I scroll its just very stiff, and i had this for 1 year by now and now its only starting to show problems which was very unfortunate
My Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed has been great but I do swap between it and my Logitech Pro Wireless which I like as well, but it's almost too small for my hand and it's slippery
i just bought it and its really good mouse but the left click isnt 100% fix like the right click and it has a little bit noise when i shake the mouse, is it normal ? if not how can fix this probleme thank you
Heyo k, so I went down to my local tech store, and for the time being this razor basilisk is 95 nzd (around 60usd) while the Logitech g403 is 85nzd (around 55usd). Even though this mouse looks like maybe the flaws might make it bad, there is a two year warranty at my tech store, and I'm not sure whether to just take the disadvantage of no wireless on the g403 to be 100%. Thanks!!
I think this Razer mouse is one of the best wireless mice out there, but I can almost guarantee you’ll into some problems down the line!
Don buy g403 wireless, it weights 135g its soooooo heavy. Consider buying a bit more expensive g703 wireless
G703 has horrible double click issues. I’d say the g602 or g502 if you want to go wireless and have some reliability.
Ive purchased a ton of Razer mice and I have also noticed major build quality variances. It took 3 viper ultimates and 3 basilisk ultimates to fimd one that has passable quality. It took two Basilisk V2 as well, my first one had a loose left click that made an annoying ping sound when actuated. Its been this way for years. Same issue with my Deathadder Elites and Mamba Elite and Mamba Wireless, each one feels totally different. Some have good clicks, some have bad clicks. Some have skipping mouse wheels some work fine. Its disappointing because when you get a good one, theyre great
THIS! I’ve had good Razer products in the past and that’s what built my confidence to buy more down the line again but after countless disappointments due to quality control I retreated to the Logitech G305 🤝
only issue i have after 2 years is a sticky dpi button that will sometimes double input. cant figure out a fix
Had this mouse for 3-4 months now and I do have the double-click problem. 🙁 At least, I'm "glad" to find I'm not alone ! I sure hope they fix their quality control problems.
Yeah, huge issues on their end since multiple people are having this problem! It just sucks because I was really enjoying the mouse!
@@KryptonicHD Update: I dropped it yesterday (from about hip height) :(... but it seems to be fixed ! Go figure ! I'll try to stay attentive and see if it comes back.

@@krazymonster13 Rip is it good now?
@@krazymonster13 seems like im picking g502 over the basilisk
If only Razer's quality issues are not much of a problem. I remember getting my first gaming mouse (naga hex v1) years back as a kid. I was so excited only to find out a month later that 4 out of 6 of the side buttons were either not registering or double-clicking. This also happened to the next naga hex I got (which was given to me), it had the same issues and was broken in just 3 months. Do keep in mind that I was extremely careful in pressing the side buttons and did not abuse my peripherals. It's a shame, I thought about getting this mouse although because of my previous experiences with the brand, I'll have to look at something else.
From looking around apparently companies have just really cheapened out on parts and it just becomes a regular for them to break down. Logitech suffers from the same issue with their double clicking after almost no time of usage. I've been looking at the G305 because it has all the features I'd enjoy and doesn't seem to have any double clicking issues!
I honestly think razer have good build quality although it maybe because i bought my deathadder a couple of years ago I've been using this mouse for about 4 yrs now and it recently just started double clicking and ive been abusing it alot lmao
Fun fact my razer basilisk x hyperspeed both rattles and has a very frequent double click issue. I would try to take a screen shot and it would take 2 mins just to drag the snipping tool across my screen. Same with dragging files.
Did u manage to solve the double click issue?
I’ve had mine for about 9 months As I was playing Cold War I realised that whenever I held an ADS with a sniper I would go in and out of ADS when I was holding my buttons down. Soon enough it’s carried over to both my right and left click so now it’s unusable Blobs the mouse but very severe problem
Yeah that's how I found myself struggling in Overwatch! I'd be zooming in and out all the time and it got annoying.
yeah i got the same issue too, but i just open the mouse and clean the left switch with isopropyl and the issue's gone, for now at least.
DAmn guys, I'm thinking of buying the razer basilisk ultimate with charging dock from best buy? Do I pull the trigger?
Don't know how many Razer mice you have used but I have used about 9 different models and each model started to register double click and not register scroll button at all, right after 3-4 months of purchase. I have lost count of how many times I had to hit up to RMA centers for these products and decided to call it a quit on Razer products all in all. Turns out razer uses absurdly cheap click switches on these mice which aren't even graded or quality assured. The switches cost around 25 cents each if bought in bulk from ali express.
I've had mine for a few months and it keeps shutting... I tried playing i with the settings and auto shut off functions and its still doing it. I do love the mouse but when I'm in a fight and just lose all control of my aim is frustrating as hell. I'm about to switch to the G502
I’d say to try out the g305! Simple and affordable
I would but I need the buttons

i ahte the disconnecting issue when the mice idle for like 20 30 seconds.. I adjusted on the synapse power mode idle for 15minutes but still the same
Dang, so many people are having issues. I've been using mine for a year, though my use case isn't as intensive as their's. Mine hasn't had any issues, and I really enjoy using it. Waiting for my old Chroma Ornata (handme down from a friend) to shit the bed to leave the Razer ecosystem and get a proper mechanical keyboard, but I honestly don't mind this mouse at all.
I'll use it for simpler things too, if it's to play I have my Razer Deathadder Elite, I'm sure the double click is because of too many clicks and strong pressure
I've had mine for about 6 months and it's driving me insane. I've tried multiple brands of batteries and every time I put in a new one it immediately says 'low battery'. Then proceeds to last a maximum of 2 days, usually one, before insisting the battery is dead. Then I put a new one in - low battery. I also have the clicking issue, occasional double clicks and also while I'm dragging something it will randomly let go and grab the next thing which is super detrimental while trying to sort large lists and the like. First and last Razer product for me.
literally any of their other mice are amazing. don’t write of a company bc of 1 bad product
Did u manage to solve the double click issue?
This or the G305? I'm coming from a G102 and my brother's deathadder is quite too big for me even if I have big hands since I'm not used to palm grip
G305 is what I swapped to! Great mouse 🐁
I love the mouse but my second side button stopped working. I wish I could fix it!
Can u click the scroll wheel straight down?
The only problem I've had with this mouse is when trying to use the Razer Blackwidow V3 also wirelessly; sometimes the mouse will lag.
Lo acabo de comprar hace unos días por amazon y se desconecta de repente, y tengo que mover el switch debajo apagarlo y ponerlo en modo 2.4 de nuevo, creo que lo devolveré.
I got one for dirt cheap because of the double clicking problem. I soldered my favorite huano switches and it now feels better than new.
The left button feels stiff and at place with the new switches, I also noticed how loose it felt with the 50M junk omrons.
I loved the design of the mouse since it's a rip off of the G502 but the quality just wasn't there. The fact that they put in their own switches and it still has tons of issues is total BS! Awesome to hear you Frankensteined it to work!
Wow, good thing I swung by this video. This is why I’m a Logitech fanboy, but damn, would I really wish this mouse would work. I’m looking for a new mouse to replace my dying G703. The mouse sensor is still awesome, but the rubber grips is worn out and the left click doesn’t feel as good. Looking for a Wireless mouse that has Bluetooth and preferably USB C if it doesn’t run in battery. Only options now is MX Master 3..... Any recommendations?
I use to have the G703 until it started double clicking on me as well. Right now I’m using the G305 wireless only goes for around 50$ and while it’s not Bluetooth the battery life on it is amazing since I don’t have to charge until I swap out the battery. Haven’t been this happy with a mouse in a while!
@@KryptonicHD yeah, my previous G703 had double clicking issue too, but Logitech had an awesome warranty support and they hook me up with a new one for FREE even after 1.5 years of usage. This current model is just dying from wear and tear Also, reason I’m looking for Bluetooth is because I have an iPad Pro and it’s basically my laptop when I’m out and about for uni.
Yeah the basilisk was in my opinion the best of both Bluetooth and wireless but the mouse was designed so cheaply 😢
I’ve had the hyper speed for over a year now. I have not had any problems other then it getting dirty easily and Bluetooth is a little buggy.
I'm just going to use it for common things, and for games I'm going to use my Razer Deathadder Elite, so I don't think there will be any problems with double clicks or anything else.
yeah, quality control is sad. first mouse from razer was this mouse and many things are different than compared to what i have seen. asked for a replacement and they never emailed me back about a tracking number which resulted in it being stolen, few weeks later i did get my mouse back however they STILL didnt give me a tracking number (for 3 weeks id like to say i didnt have a mouse(. incredible. however this new mouse is very nice, both LMB and RMB are tighter but do still make a noise, scroll wheel I suspect is flawed though. some funny things id like to mention is all of the small quality control bits to razer were "how the mouse works". didnt have any green led but now i do, side buttons seem more in place and sound different, dpi switcher is different, mouse turned off and on (reason on how i got the replacement), and many other things. their mice look great and all, but poor quality control and customer service doesnt seal a deal for another mouse from razer. sorry about this rant, probably lots of things wrong about it
I completely get you on the whole feeling different. I’ve felt a total of 5 of these mice and they all sounded slightly different. Makes 0 sense...
Just bought this mouse. so far, don't have those out of factory defects that you mentioned. hope it will go smoothly for a good period of time.
keep us updated, if you got one of the good ones, that's awesome.
how's the mouse?

My middle mouse click no longer works so that sucks no idea how to fix it
The only major issue i have with it is when my hands sweat a lot not happening too often but when it does my god ....:))
I felt that! I thought it was just me so I didn't mention it, but hahahaha yeah it gets sweaty fast!
Same here, that's my main problem
Same here bro games be getting intense out here my armpits and hands are like a swamp 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well I've had mine almost a year, and as of 30 minutes ago it is now completely dead. I was playing a game for like 5 minutes then it suddenly disconnected and now won't power on whatsoever. Time to look into something else!
mine just suddenly not moving, but other part works fine, maybe after this, wireless mouse is no longer an option to me, wired is the way
i got the dpi button stuck somehow and the thing randomly turns off until i take out the battery and put it back no matter how fully charged it is kinda of a waste of money imo too bad its otherwise a decent mouse
Bought the basilisk x in October, the double clicking problem started in December, the rattling started in January hope razer fix this cause in germany the ultimate costs 170 with the charger and I don't need the rgb and love the simplicity with the AA Battery...
They're great mice in concept, but poor in production. Quality control issues everywhere.
I bought mine a year ago and the button on the right side only works sometimes... Warranty expired... I don't even know if it can be fixed... I didn't expect this from RAZER
Nobody expects it from Razer, but then you get die hard fans that can't accept that a company can lower their quality standards, right around that warranty period. But they all like to say "you're just a heavy user'. I currently have an Orochi V2 and it's mostly plastic but wow it's so lightweight!
I just picked this up from walmart recently ($42.. dont judge me it was a rushed decision) It was fine for a few days until randomly while playing battlefield the sensitivity dips way low and then back to normal again. My aim goes from a quick snap to turtles pace as if aim assist ..for pc was turned on? (which doesnt exist in this game btw) I have no clue what the reason is, I've reset everything and so far nothing has worked. Im very tempted to return it.
bro i have the same thing but my scroll whil is not working and glitching
what mic are you using?
I'm on my 3rd mouse 1st came from Amazon with no receiver second on just stopped working razer replaced it with my 3rd and it's been perfect for about 6 months but when it dies I'm going back to logitech
I've had the mouse for a solid year and a half, and have recently broke it due to the constant smash here and there. But it has been a great mouse for the time I've had and have had near to none problems with it. I've seen throughout the comments that people have had vastly different problems with it. But in my experience it's been a great mouse.
Mad cause bad
Constant, yet here and there. Makes sense.
Bro my friend recommended it to me i bought it bc its 45€ right now should i send it back or not? Pls help
Its a bit hard to use as it is the first gaming miuse i have, thanks for your thoughts on th mouse
Any update on the mouse’s condition?
I got this as a birthday gift from a friend last year. It's perfect, but all of sudden today it just stopped working idk why :/
I'm lucky that I got one of the good ones. Because mine lasted for a solid 2 years of daily gaming before I accidentally broke it when I spilt a drink on it. Keeping my fingers crossed for the new one I'm bought.
I'm using allot of Razer stuff that I got my hands on more recently. I've been using a Razer BlackWidow Elite with green switch's for nearly 2 years. It's been fine accept for when I clearly spilled something that I had to clean out with alcohol, but that was my fault & it's fine now. I got a Razer Mamba Elite that I had for nearly 2 years as well. It's still fine & so far my favorite mouse so far out of all of the mice I've owned so far, near perfect for my hand. My first Razer item I owned was the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headphones I have owned now for nearly 3 years. Only issue is when I move the volume wheel sometimes I hear one of the audio channels kinda cut out a bit. But easy to settle back to working... I might put some 99% alcohol though it if it gets worse. Also a Razer Firefly V2 mousepad & the Razer Kishi for my phone. (No issues) Even my wife has a white Razer Kraken headset. (Also no issues) Knock on wood for the most part all my Razer items have been fine besides what I mentioned. But my younger sister had the Kraken Kitty headphones that just kinda quit on her after not even a year. I'm debating one of these mice for my laptop, I don't game on it much but I want something better then the Bluetooth Microsoft mouse I've been using on it. Also it's important to me that the mouse also has Bluetooth for if I don't wanna waste one of my 2 USB ports on my laptop on a dongle. So it's this mouse or the Deathadder V2 Pro that cost more money & doesn't just use AA batteries either (Something I also prefer) But... It's nicer... lol I'm hoping to score a Deathadder V2 Pro as a Amazon warehouse deal for cheap, or I might just settle on the Basilisk X HyperSpeed & hope I get lucky on quality control. (Mind you I take a risk on the warehouse deal when we speak about quality unless I can trick Razer into thinking I got it new... & I would try lol) It's interesting that you said you went though so many of them & they all felt different. Something to keep in mind. One question for you, how does the mouse work on Bluetooth compared to the dongle? I know latency won't be as good with Bluetooth but do you feel like you really notice?
4:46 Look you are experienced with quick hand moves :P

@@KryptonicHD Thanks to your video didnt bought it, i just ordered new microswitches (huano blue/blue used in fk2), sliders (corepad) and gona give my g305 new life for less than 10 $.
@@siwiutki1987 I was thinking of getting the G305 but the Basilisk Ultimate was on sale and it’s basically this mouse but way more quality! Glad to hear I stopped you on time!
I almost place order for this mouse!! Thank you so much!! But what do you think about Legion M500 RGB?? A wired mouse but not it is on offer, hope you feel free to reply, thank you😊😊😊😊
Check out the G305. Good mouse with decent features but great price :D
Just bought one of these brand new and it has the rattle right out of the box ... returning it for sure
So is this issue only with wireless Razer basilisk v2 or with wired one as well?? I was really planning to get wired Basilisk.. what do you guys say?? I am not looking for wireless mice.. any other recommendations?? I actually wanted to buy G502 but saw many videos saying Basilisk being better then G502 ..
Wired one should be good! It's the quality around the wireless one! I like the G305, G502 and Orochi V2!
I have a problem with my mouse. It has a timing problem. If I move the mouse it does not move the cursor immediately. It takes a couple of the seconds before it connects to the computer. Is there a sleep function that helps save battery life? Does anyone know a fix to this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Had 2 razer mouses before... always have issues with razer. Double clicking and clicks does not register some of my friends encountered these issues as well... i have a trauma with razer now.. shifted to glorious mouse and it's working great for more than a year. Razer have some pretty cool mice. unforunately my experience with it lead me to stray away from their mice.
Hello, This mouse can join to ps5??
If you are looking for another wireless gaming mouse in the future try out the Roccat Kain 200 Aimo. So far I've had poor QC issues with Razer and Logitech mice.
I’ve seen it and it looks good! The shale seems a bit difference though. 100 grams isn’t bad but no battery options 😩👀
have you ever tried the logitech g304? if yes which one is better the razaer basilisk or the logitech g304
I have the G305 and it’s really good for wireless and long term battery since one battery will last for months!
