A decade ago, developer Riley Testut released the GBA4iOS emulator for iOS, and since it was against the rules at the time, Apple put a stop to downloads. Emulators have been a violation of the App Store rules for years, but that changed on April 5 when Apple suddenly reversed course and said that it was allowing retro game emulators on the App Store.
With official support available for emulators, Testut this morning released his latest emulator, Delta, on the App Store. Unlike the other two emulators that have been released in the last week, Delta is incredibly polished and provides an all-around pleasant gameplay experience.

@@RandomizedKZheadr012don’t need Wiimote to work. Same way it works on PC. You can play games that support the game pad but some games that only support wiimote wont be playable.
@@RandomizedKZheadr012But using your phone as a motion sensor is an actual feature is the desktop version of Dolphin btw. Some games, even tho you can play the full thing with a gamepad, some games have small motion control sections that it’s useful for

Where can I install games from?
One thing that kinda sucks is that if you’re on a discord call for example, there’s no audio that’ll come from the app, no matter if your phone is silent or if the silent mode in the app is turned off
Worth noting Delta currently supports local multiplayer (with up to 4 paired Bluetooth controllers) but I don’t believe supports wireless multiplayer just yet (though afaik it’s in the pipeline). So no battling / trading Pokemon for example

Absolutely Delta is there. It’s been there for a while.
Just so everyone knows, you can make an USA Apple account from any country and download apps from that store. Used Delta for years by side loading. Obviously this makes it WAY more acceptable for everyone

haha. this is amazing. I already have the old consoles to play these games on, but on the iphone, it's very compelling because of Apple's strict app store policies. I put it on my iPad Pro and Mini 5, but looks better on the iPhone of course.

I googled "roms". Picked the 2nd option. Was easy. Saved them to my icloud folder. Added.
to get the ROMS search up “pokémon ROMS”, for me “emulator games” came out I chose my game saved it to my phone and when you open the app again press the + on the top right go to files again and enjoy the game. Takes 10 seconds max

Does it come with built in BIOS? If it even uses BIOS, I use a ps1 emulator so I'm not sure about gba emulators. Could you just straight up download games, and load them through the emulator?
DS games require BIOS and firmware. The others aren’t.

Guys if you want the best emulator experience, the iphone is just not the device to get. Android just has so many options. Nes, snes, n64, 3ds, all of segas consoles ps1, ps2 gamecube and even switch.

Saying touch controls are the same as holding a gameboy or controller is… a stretch to say the least. The touch controls are nice, but not even close to physical controls.
Has anyone experienced games flickering? In others I’ve also noticed black squares obscuring some of the characters and lettering. Diddy Kong racing, Pilotwings N64 and 1080 Snowboarding are just a few I noticed having these issues. Just wondering if it could perhaps be a bad copy of the rom or the emulator core itself, not that there’s an option to change it.

No iPad version - that's a shame. While it wouldn't work well for touch controls, it would be great paired with a controller. After all, these games were all designed for 4x3 aspect ratios, which the iPad shares.

Xbox Cloud Gaming (and similar streaming services from NVidia and others) *are* allowed now thanks to the EU's putting the screws to Apple. They just haven't submitted a new app.
