hey the link doesn't seem to work
Not available in Australia 🇦🇺- what a surprise!!
no thanks
It’s not really a major upgrade honestly
We have no idea what it'll look like. Here's a bunch of made up renders.
Yup
The renders are based on leaks and rumors from sources such as Mark Gurman, 9to5Mac, MacRumors, etc. We just extrapolated off of what was leaked to come up with a design that we thought was plausible.
@@ConceptCentral those guys aren’t right all the time, but the design you’ve made is awesome!
@@danbh84yeah but it’s all they got so what are you expecting, actual pictures? Lmao
@@Sidney-uy1dz umm no
Man, 10 years has flown by.
Right??
It’s depressing.
Haven’t had it 10 yrs 👎🏽
Well, to be grammatically correct, ‘has’ should be ‘have’ since ‘years’ is the plural form of the word. Just say’n.
Original apple watch was released in April of 2015 so 9 years ago.
Does apple watch need to be thinner? No. Does it need to have bigger battery capacity? Absolutely.
no need for bigger battery, just make cpu a little bit slower, but more power efficient, nobody needs watches that are faster than iphone 7 lol. Source - look up transisters, clocks and core count and add a15 architecture
I actually this is Apple’s worst product! Battery life is terrible and progressively gets worst with all the new tech added.
Updating the Apple watch seems to be a much bigger thing than updating phones. I'm all about the new health features!
you mean blood clot detection ?
@@skodaroomster8124YEAAAAHH BUDDY
They honestly just need to add Touch ID in the crown. I’m so sick of typing in a password on my watch
On my series 6, when I unlock my iPhone 13 mini with faceid it unlocks the watch without me having to touch the screen
@@gunnerplaygames2305it happens with the ultra too.. but he’s talking about a touch system on the watch without touching your phone
@@terrycanada3978it’s a fucking watch
FaceID would be so intuitive-the simple act of looking at my Apple Watch would unlock it. The FaceID feature could be further secured by linking it with sensing that you're wearing the Watch, AND the accelerometers sensing the action of raising your arm and angling it so that you're looking at the watch face. This could make sure that you are consciously/deliberately intending to activate it rather than someone removed it and pointed it at your face. Could even be linked to your biometrics-if it detects rapidly increased stress levels (e.g., sudden jump in heart rate because you're being mugged), the Watch could stay locked, and even lock your iPhone and/or iPad if it's on your person; depending, of course, on how you've configured your security settings.
I type in my passcode once whenever I put it on, roughly once every second day, I don’t think it’s a big thing, how are you “so sick” of it? Do you need to take it off and put it on several times a day?
Im just here to say that blood glucose monitoring would CHANGE the game bro. I’ve been standing by this rumor for years man. Diabetes runs in my family and now that im getting older im constantly thinking about it. Great vid Sam, thanks for keeping us up.
Been also waiting on the same things
"Before Apple Watch, all watches are circle." Really? I guess human innovations never existed before Apple for youngsters these days.
I wonder how many $14k gold Apple Watch Editions are still at the bottom of some rich persons bedside drawer gathering dust
Damn good question 😂😂😂😂😂
@@bamaboyburns8079 I believe they’re quite sought after by Apple collectors - who will pay near full retail price for one in pristine condition and with the original charging case - ah to be rich lol 😂
I thought it was 10k
@@kingfisher111They were all different prices depending on the model and the strap u got - any gold on the strap was solid gold as well
It made no sense.
Your render of the X still shows the band connecting inside the the body of the watch.
10 years and the battery still can’t last a full week…
Why does that matter? You charge your phone every day. Is it that difficult to put your watch on a charger at night?
@@blaisebanko3487 it is more that it is inconvenient cos you need to take off the watch each time... which is more effort than charging a phone. It also means there is a period when you are not being tracked monitor.. if for example you are charging it overnight means you can't track your sleep. If you want to track your sleep then you will have less battery life in the morning when you need to use it.

Nothing new Least for the next 2-3 more years. At best, slimmer bezel.

Lol damn, quite the over the top reply for a pretty realistic response 😂 The only reason for shorter timeline would be if the new health features can't be done through an update. Which most likely will be the case. @petehon1005
I think magnetic band is a bad idea for a one reason, some professions might have their watch more of a chance to break since it can get caught onto objects like walls or something and rip the watch off from the band making the watch more prone to break especially if the magnets aren't gonna be strong. Look at magsafe, sure its a good idea, but it isn't exactly perfect. I get Apple likes to do things to add new features, but I feel like magnetic watch bands is a bad idea once you use it in daily usage and they could've found a way to make the watch bands thinner or something.
I agree lmao, when I had my series 7 before going to the series 9, I had the magnetic leather link band on it and I got it snagged on something and my watch flew off and got a dent in the stainless steel casing😂
Not to mention if you work anywhere near fine metal dust it's going to be a problem
If they change the band system I will NOT buy the X. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on bands. I’m not gonna replace them all.
@@DOWNR4NGE same it makes no sense to change the proprietary band they have used since the beginning all it is is another cash grab look at the amount they sell the bands for. I hope they get sued into oblivion for trying to control the market it is completely true and a valid lawsuit.
I wouldn’t be confident with magnets on the Apple Watch Ultra.
Sam the whole explainer vibe that’s going on in the video is really great. You explain things very well especially the health chapter!! I would love to see more journalismish videos like this! You did such a great job man.
I just got iwatch series 8 , AirPods gen 2 pro and iPhone 15 plus not gonna change every single year like money ain’t a joke
🔥🔥🔥
any leaks in regards to apple watch ultra 3? I'm about to pull the trigger on a ultra 2
On battery, theatre mode is the game changer. Mine is at 81% max capacity, sitting at 40% charged and it’s been 26h since last full charge. Theatre mode 💯
a game changer...what do you mean with a game change. A changing game is another game and therefore out of the league. Useless. everybody talks the same. please bring some AI comments it will at least be able to think !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I look at my Garmin, 77% left -> 12days.
How often should I charge it, does it coincide with my phone?
😆
Can i fast forward and rewind music on the apple watch X?
Loved the loud sensor feature. I was able to put in ear plugs because of the notice! Made me love the watch just a bit more and all new way.
So did they intro truetone on the Apple Watch yet? It’s really annoying to see the Color temperature different on the watch then the iPhone.
Like rounded rectangle watch shape especially ultra just would be nice if it was thinner, also if app icons were same shape 3x3 on screen to scroll through, ai hopefully
“A rounded rectangle shape that nobody had really done before”. Erm, Pebble?
Anytime people say Apple (insert product) Changes EVERYTHING it's again some minor upgrade that other brands been doing for decades.
Exactly. Like overhyped Vision Pro. "Uaaaa, Apple did it again. Changing the future. I have wet panties." Apple sheeps discovered VR.
Me after spending 1300$ on the Hermes edition series 9🥲 these are kinda old rumors tho, we heard all this much earlier in the year and there really hasn’t been too many new rumors on the Apple Watch series 10. Maybe we’ll get thinner bezels if Apple can replicate tightening the copper coils for the bezel like what’s rumored for the iPhone 16.
"Watches are circle." The Cartier Tank was introduced in 1918. It is one of the most iconic watches in history.
Smartwatch. If you look up smartwatches, the only non-circle watches I see are FitBits and Apple Watches.
So should I wait with buying an apple watch for the series x?
My wife and I are getting older and on the fly BP monitoring is a reason to upgrade. I don’t understand how they get a readout with a BP pressure cuff, but I’m interested to find out.
Are these features coming to the Apple Watch Ultra too?
Any idea on release date? Also thoughts on potential ultra updates?
I’m curious how the sleep apnea feature (or any feature that requires overnight use) is possible with respect to charging? Longer battery life/ true quick charging? We’ll see
If Apple changes to a magnetic band connector in the new watch I REALLY hope that they also find a way to continue supporting existing bands too! Over the last decade I've cultivated a pretty large collection of bands that I love wearing for different occasions. It'd be a shame if I and others were to lose the ability to use our existing band collections just because Apple wanted a little more space inside the watch. Maybe this is a hot take, but I'd gladly give up getting a slightly larger battery if it means I can keep using my existing bands without issue.
Are they going to keep blood oxygen cause I have it on mine and I feel like it would be a downgrade
If they do it wouldn’t be the end of the word, the current blood oxygen sensor is not very reliable
Got to assume the new watch will have better connectivity with the vision pro. Maybe more "neural" type movements like that double tap thing added last year. Nothing listed here sounds like much of a leap forward - same form factor and basic feature set. Nothing that gets someone with a series 6 or later watch jealous
I was waiting for the best Apple Watch to arrive and haven’t bought one yet in the last 10 years. 😂
Harry’s sponsoring a video where the guy doesn’t even need to shave! 🤣🤣👌
I'm so excited! I remember getting Apple Watch gen. 1 in college! Good memories! I think it was called Apple Watch Sport!
I like the current bands. I just up graded to se 2 iwatch had the first se for 3.5 yrs no problems but my provider offered new model for free with a phone line which is 10.00 a month my thinking is 1st watch would probably need battery soon, I notice no difference between the 2, except this one has cellular service so you can leave your phone. Blood Glucose meter would be nice. Great Video
Can I use it with having an iphone?
I hope the magnets are good! I bought Apples Leather Magnetic link for my Apple Watch 9. It worked well, for Apple; after jumping out of a bus the Apple watch went from my hand to under the bus tire. I think the main problem with the ordinary Apple watch is battery time. With series 9 watch I had some trouble before destroing it, and I actually think it was a overheating problem as I used the Penauts Snoopy watch face, which was random and with a lot of movement.
Concept designs look great, but I feel like the jump from the series 3 to series 4 and the series 6 to series 7 were a lot more substantial. Doesn’t feel like a design revolution with what the iPhone X brought
Citizen had a square watch. And elegant back in the 90s
I have my dad’s watch, a gold case Elgin tank watch with mainspring movement from around 1940!
Making it compatible with Android would be really innovating
The Apple Watch reminds me of the people from the early 2000’s who wore those 1 ear Bluetooth things.
Bro, your video looks really good.
💯. Commented the same thing. If he keeps this up, he’s up in the big leagues sooner or later.

I might just have to trade in my gen 1 ultra if it looks as good as the renders!!
What country is this?
You make great videos. You are such a great explainer.
How does the watch get charged overnight when you’re monitoring your ‘Sleep Apnea’ ?
Don't question the fanbois :)
Did not know I had it, I do monitor my pressure!!!
Just because the guy made a watch that looks like the iPhone X doesn’t mean this is the form factor Apple is using. This is more about the guys ability to render than it is about a proof this is an upcoming concept.
I know that you focus on the new product, but how does it stack up against the Ultra 2? And I still recall that Apple was slapped hard on the wrist over the medical chipset in the watch. For 2024 I still think about finding an Ultra 2 in Europe with the first chipset.
I remember having my Pebble watch before Apple Watch come to market 💥💥💥
I just upgraded my series one to a series 6 and man it is a game changer the only reason why I upgraded is because the screen popped out but it still works. Just need to superglue it back in but it only holds a charge for like four hours
I have the series 5 so I’m getting this when it comes out. I love the number 1 or 10 so this is for me. Although I’m tempted to get the 9 when the x comes out first cheaper.
Sad part is in 10 years nothing exciting has released from Apple! I miss Steve jobs! 👌🏽🙁
Man so this watch came out when I started at Disneyland I’m having my 10th anniversary party next month… Wow insane. Can’t wait to upgrade my Watch and Phone still rocking iPhone 11 and Apple Watch 5.
I don’t think action button is coming on thr regular version. It’s just like the pros only getting action buttons but the regular 15s kept the switch.
On your images, it looks like the same amount of space is being cut out for the band connection.
We designed it so that the band connectors at the end aren’t removable, that way they wouldn’t take up the space that is required for them to slide in and out. Instead the watch bands are supposed to magnetically attach themselves to the band connectors at the end of the watch. Hope that makes sense!
Yeah I was confused, I know its only a mock up but the design doesn't look 'revolutionary'? I wonder if the X will actually end up being that different and not just add these few changes that that do not seem very mindblowing at all :(
@@ConceptCentral so someone will be able to just snatch it off a wrist ? :(
@@marcsequence I use the magnetic link band on my current Apple Watch and it's very secure. I'm sure the new bands will be just as tight
@@ConceptCentral I think I was thinking that like the band would physically come off of the watch itself rather than being secured to it and adjustable via magnetic enclosure. I think I just pictured it wrong my bad.
Can they fix the crappy podcast app and let us manually manage our downloads like in the music app? That would be nice.
That render is absolutely beautiful. fingers crossed the actual watch looks like this.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day.
Shall I get Apple Watch series 9 or should I wait for the Apple Watch X guys?
I keep checking for Apple Watch 10 update everyday lol
If that chassis is official I’m on board. Unlike the rumored pro 16 using the same design going on 5-6 yrs
Me that got series 8 for Christmas… yeah I will buy these in 3 years :)
Damn 10 years! There haven’t done anything exciting with the Apple Watch. Hopefully they can make some real breakthroughs.
Is it only been 10 years! How time flies.
always been an apple fan, still am, but i am moving to Garmin this year :)
"this changes everything" *tosses wedding ring*
Sam, There were a lot of rectangular wrist watches before your time, not electronic but mechanical ones. I still enjoy your vlogs, I hope all is well since toned down your presentations. If Apple or tech can develop a battery for the watches that can, under heavy use, give us 5 days or more , then I would consider one but until then I'll stick with my Fitbit! Cheers, Rik Spector
If it looks like the render I’m getting it!!!
I need to know when Apple debuts the new watch, at least within a week of announcement, so I can sell my Ultra 2 on eBay.
That sounds great but how about new limited edition badges and also the badges they stopped doing on health app
The price will be sky high as usual 😆
Gonna stick with my ultra 2 which I just got a month ago which is a beast and Apple Watches last a while
Really happy with the design. I’ve wanted it to be thinner for a long time. Current one is too bulky and gadget like.
After 10 year and it STILL gets 1 day of charge ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE !
True! Nothing but marketing...😅😂
Yea the real story is how apple makes shitty batteries that you can’t replace that degrade over time forcing the user into a de facto rental agreement
do you plan to update the AppleTrack leaderboard?
I only charge my Apple Watch SE 2 every two nights. It does last over 18 hours for me and has for more than a year. 🤷♀️
Good update!
I think (or rather I hope) that they implement some form of AI like the AI pin so that you get a better assistant (siri) that can take voice memos and answer trivia, etc. That would be pretty big!
I hope it has a FaceTime camera under the screen and it should be able to connect to multiple iPhones, MacBooks & iPads.
Will they work through tattoos?????
If and thats a big IF the blood pressure is actually recognised as a real health metric data that can be used to actually monitor your blood pressure it would be cool, but most likely will be as useless as the oxygen sensor...
They’re not going to use magnets to attach bands to the watch. Why? 1) Magnets strong enough to attach the band securely would interfere with the compass in the watch (Apple already warns that magnets embedded in watch bands and on the far side of your wrist can interfere with the compass). 2) Consumes just won’t trust magnets to keep the watch secure, especially for intensive activity. Just look at all Apples bands that have magnets, they’re all dress bands (millines loop, leather buckle etc.), all of Apples bands for intense activity use a physical fastener (Velcro, pin, traditional buckle).
Thought it was an overpriced gimmick then my sister got me an Apple Watch 4 for my Birthday, haven’t been without one since and have a panic attack each time they break down and I have to wait for delivery!!
Thank You!
I love the Apple Watch it sucks I spend majority of my day at work and in a restaurant job you can’t wear watches 🤒🤒
I love my SE Watch and SE phone. If they keep making them, ill keep buying. I love my apple watch other than the battery life, but I am home often and charge it daily.
