The best definition of Multipla that I've heard: It's like a brothel, super-comfortable and enjoyable while you're inside, but when you get out of it you can't help but feel ashamed.
The best multipla is on his way right know A French yt channel called Vilebrequin is currently making one that is gonna be over 1000hp 😅 it’s worth checking even if you don’t speak French

As a Swede, it warms my heart to see that SAAB is still going strong
Because Swedish cars are the best Volvo Saab can't go wrong with one I've previously owned a 89 volvo740 with well it displayed 323.000 miles but the clocks were broken so more like 400.000 still ran like new with no rust at all and everything worked to heated seats windows the lot
@@medler2110 nice that proves reliability kind of the same story for me but with a Volvo I was working for my uncle as a teen around 6 and a bit years ago our work car had a gear box issue so we picked up a Volvo 850 as a stopping gap was 300 pound brought of the bloke who got it new only 60.000 miles we put about 40.000 miles on it then got another van the van never lasted long we regretted selling the 850 as it's still on the road today I'll soon be getting another Saab or Volvo

Yeah the Saab is easily the best car there by far. The boys need to do their homework on the GM Saab saga as that car is much more than a vectra that’s why Saab went under.

It has some (minimal) passive rear wheel steering which helps oversteer a lil’ bit

That is by far the best drift I've ever seen in a Multipla. I mean, it's also the only drift I've ever seen in a Multipla.

If you are good at making cars you don't stop doing it because of some bigger company or because you can't make profit out of them. If you stop you're just not good at making cars.

@@medler2110 Yep, remember when GM said "hey SAAB people, the message is COMMON PLATFORM CHASSIS... The base of all the models will be the same with just different cabins and body designs, so we can enjoy the economy of scale it gives us" ...and the saab guys just muttered a bit and made theirs a couple of inches longer... Shortly after, GM gave up trying to get SAAB to conform to modern car production philosophy and let the brand die. Same when ford bought JLR and tried to get them to be something remotely resembling profitable... No good being quirky if you just hemorrhage money

I will probably get a 9-3 like that in a couple of years when I get my driver’s license. However I’ll probably buy a convertible or a saloon with a petrol engine and a manual.

Yup me! A 9.5 ! 2007 model ! Station. 400.k ! With no major issues. Best car i had zo far! ....Nissan Primera Honda Accord .fiat essee essee . Saab 9.5 /1999 . A 9.3/2006 .a .9.3/ B206R. Now a 9.5 vector ttid . 250bhp . At 550nm tourge .....💪🏻

How on earth is that car £500? Even if it only runs for a day it's worth that to have broken down outside your house making you look good.
I drive one of these. They don't cost a lot more than that and they are pretty dull but you get an awful lot of car for the 💰
Got a 9-3 sedan with automatic, 400bhp and a good set of coilovers, the best car ive ever driven👌🏼
I had the 9-3 1.9tid vector. Forever in limp mode. Was overfuleing badly. So got rid. Do miss it though.
A proud Saab 95 Aero (260bhp) owner here :-) 160000 miles on the clock and still going strong :-) If you look after it, it will look after you. Great video you guys.

SAABs are seriously underrated and should feature on this channel more often.
No they shouldn't because they would destroy them and there aren't many about.
In Sweden where SAAB was invented they're one of the most common cars on the roads after Volvo.

owner of a 93 1.9TTiD Vector from 2011 for 2 months now, it's a fucking pleasure to drive. 110k miles but exterior looks brand new, inside everything is functional and leather barely faded

I hate it when dudes say Saabs are just rebadged Vauxhalls, the reason why GM was so poor when they owned Saab is because they always went their own way, Saab had a better Sat-nav, a better Stereo, and sometimes even better engines.

@@wodspy666 It was the nicest car.. but it was painfully slow off the line, you would have to be extremely patient to ever pull out onto the road in traffic.
@@iamezza theres versions with two turbos instead of one. 400nm and 150ish hp. Theyre not slow for a 2 ton estate car.

That’s for the older saabs, not on this generation, on the older it would let you lock the car only if the cars in reverse and it would lock into that
No. The original reason to place the ignition lock in the centre console (on Saab 99) was indeed to avoid injury on drivers knee during a crash. The gearbox lock on reverse was simply done because a steering lock wasn't really feasible then.
Doesn't unlock nor lock the gearbox.

Unfortunately the rust is included, so maybe it's a fair price...
I paid £100 for a saloon the same age last year. Was destined for the scrappy and I was going to use it for spares. Decided to try for a MOT. Some new tyres and a new front spring saw a clean ticket and I sold it on to a mate to be his daily car. Rust isn't usually what kills them off
