You are right, but none of the has the character of Jezza, and Ethan isn't a car nut, so they are not quite the same, but they're very good team.

Jacob White mate I live in Australia so stuffs a bit different here. For the 2007 V6 it cost me around 950 a year for registration and 65 a month for insurance and it cost me 275 for stamp duty tax

The thing is...the standard Ka with the newer 1.3 Duratec SOHC is actually a brilliant car in the corners. It's what I have as my first car, and on a local twisty road with up and downhill hairpins I outran my mate in his mk3 Golf 1.6 CL. I honestly can't decide if I want to make it a project or just get a nicer car when my insurance finishes in September.
Are they really that bad? Seems like with a bit of work you could have a lightweight toy with nearly base Miata power...

@@CasualGearheads The more logical choice is the SportKa over the StreetKa. The SportKa is just a standard Ka with a nicer interior, body kit, nicer alloys and a more powerful 1.6 engine putting out 95 bhp. The StreetKa is a convertible with the same engine as the SportKa but because it's a convertible it's much heavier.

@@finnjb3249 True, but you don't really need one. The 4 cylinder turbo is a lot better for tuning. It's actually an upgraded version of the Lancia Delta Integrale engine. Actually, it can go to maybe 300hp with parts from other Lancia and Fiat engines, no need for expensive, custom made tuning parts, like for the 5 cylinder one.

Put it this way, I haven't watched top gear since Clarkson, May and Hammond were off. But I have watched a CarThrottle video at least once or twice a week! Imagine if they did like an India special, an hourlong feature on buying a cheap car in rupees to road trip across India 😂

@@clauds5th352 once you do general maintenance yes. It's a smooth ride considering it's age. It's specially good on corners because it's a low car. If you mod it you can get a good amount of power.

The thing I love about this is that he genuinely tutored him on the best line to take round the entire track for five laps (probably more) and he was still able to beat the time hahaha
