I assume they’re purposefully trying to avoid being like top gear, but if they have anxieties about being copycats they shouldn’t.

Yep - they could have standing rules too, to make it more interesting. Like...Alex can't get a BMW, Ethan's not allowed any sensible cars and Jack loses a point every time he looks nervous passing a Royal Mail truck.

Actually, I do that. I tell them my next available free time is a certain date and literally only do it so I can see what good offers come in. Had a guy pay 2 grand more for a motor I was selling before because he wanted it there and then, so legit made time just to sell it. Nothing wrong with holding back a little to see what everyone wants.

Anyone else think Jason rang his friend before the guys did and were like ‘hey man these guys have a budget of 5000 and they’re desperate for a Mustang’. @@faisalleeds I don't think they officially sold them new in the UK until 2016, so everything for sale before then is going to have a markup due to rarity and the fact that somebody had to pay whatever fees the UK requires to import them.

That Bright Atlantic Blue color is actually one of the more rare mustang colors they made!!
In 1994 it was just called bright blue. Still a great color and somewhat rare with only about 6 grand being produced.

In all these challenges where all 3 participate, the boys give me such a good "old top gear" vibe, but with some sort of their own twist and uniqueness. They have the chemistry going on, they have the passion; even Ethan is slowly turning into one of us. It's spot on for a car show. Idk if Ethan still does the editing all by himself, but there are some really good music choices. The slow guitar at the end of the day montage was just fabulous. It's one of the best short pieces i've seen this year. Good job mates!

I already know what life is like with a Mustang in the UK, she was my dad's daily driver. As a kid my dad had a fox body, a 1986 model, red interior (cloth with a cigarette burn in the rear left seat and a cracked dash) and a red exterior (dad had to replace the hatch with a green one when the neighbors got drunk and put a wheelie bin through the rear glass) with a 3.8 V6 140hp and I remember him reversing through a McDonalds drive thru so that he was on the correct side to get the food. We called her Megan as the registration plate was C220 MGN. She's long been sold and the next owner painted her silver with a blown ford big block and fat drag tyres turning her into a racing car
I've got a thing for the Pontiac firebird from the 90s looks fantastic from the back with that honeycomb pattern in the rear lights
