INSTALMENT #5 ON THE WAR AGAINST THE RATS! LET ME TELL YOU, THEY WERE OUT IN NUMBERS AND DIRECTING TRAFFIC. ALMOST SEEMS LIKE THEY DOUBLED THERE NUMBERS. FOUR OF US WERE OUT THIS NIGHT, RICHIE RICH, JIMMY ,HIS BROTHER AND I. THIS IS MY TAKE FOR THE NIGHT AS I WAS THE ONLY ONE FILMING. BUT TOTAL OF ALL OF US WAS ABOUT 200+
HERES 85+ GONE TO THE AFTER LIFE.

    • cabdriveruk I agree. I had a rat problem that was nothing compared to this. We put out traps, and killed more birds than anything, even got a squirrel. Invested $150 into a decent pellet rifle, and with use of my pvs14 night vision, and an ir laser, the problem was solved in a few evenings, with no more collateral damage.

  • great video. nice shooting. few questions for socal xtreme hunter. I've been air gunning the rats that come up out of the woods at night to eat the dog food that the stellar jays scatter throughout the day as my "attack" dogs watch in amusement. I'm up in norcal and I have never seen such mellow rats like the ones in this video. its rare now to see more than one rat at a time anymore. I keep them thinned out as much as possible. but even if I only see one, as soon as I see it, it seems like the slight bit of adrenalin that produces is enough to alert the day and they scoot and duck and rethink their approach. when I squeeze the trigger on them, they jump and change directions so fast , I need at least 900fps if I'm going to hit it. and any other possible bystanders disappear in a flash. all the cocking and coughing and talking I heard in this video would keep these rats here from coming out to play at all. I think we have 2 kinds of rats here. ..3 if you count the mc gang, e b rats. lol is there a difference between city rats and country rats? also, how were you able to get hold of one of these xsites? they make them here locally but won't sell me one. but I was able to buy an ATN gen I nvrs from bass pro shops. Amazon and optics planet won't ship me one either. finally, are you pleased with this size of a scope or do you wish you would have gone up to the bigger size? thanks for sharing. good hunting...

  • When I was in Jamaica in 2000 I couldn't believe what my mum said to me! Saying that there are mice who find there way in the house! So I bought 17 mouse traps and put them all over the house and when night time arrived at about 7pm they start to get trapped and my mum and dad is pleased about it.. They'll never come back anymore!!

    • Believe it or not, until recently there were not very many semi-auto pcp air guns. Sure there are plenty of CO2 semi autos, but they do not have the accuracy to do this job which is shooting a rat from 10 to 40 yds. Plus the semi-autos cost a LOT more than a bolt mostly due to scarcity. There were a few semi-autos at SHOT this year so we'll see.

  • Good that all the ratters go for head shots, minimal suffering. It's so addictive watching these rat hunter and rat traps videos, can't get enough of them. I saw one glue rat trap video and couldn't finish it. So horrific and senseless torture.
