  • I can't believe the person that wished this on Tampa or ANY other team for that matter! That is just sick! Get well soon Aaron, thankfully most people wish you a speedy recovery no matter what jersey you wear, we want to see you back in action quickly!!

    • I know right!? There's some awful people in this comments section wishing this on specific players even! Like, sure, I don't like Marchand either but I would NEVER wish this on a player! They are human beings people, jeez! Luckily the majority of people were compassionate. I hope that fan that yelled "soccer player!!!" feels like crap after they find out what happened to him.

  • Doesn’t matter your likes/dislikes/affiliations, you never want to see something like this happen to anyone (Brad Marchand-I’d have to think long and hard on that). Hope it’s only this season that’s affected and not anything beyond that. 🙏😷🤘

  • I remember when I saw this for the first time. I was on vacation in North Carolina and was watching another NHL game. This came on during an intermission, and I was absolutely horrified. Watching the clip of him landing like that is bad enough, but hearing him scream in agony is even worse, and you can really hear it because the arena is empty. Thank goodness he was able to recover from it. I bet Lindell felt horrible after that. He never wanted anything of this sort to happen.

    • JeanetteG the unfortunate thing is with these injuries it doesn't even matter. Huberdeau suffered an Achilles injury years back and only last year did he finally return to what looked like full form, trocheck had a similar injury to Ek but Ek got way luckier where he only just now returned to being a productive forward. I wish Ekblad has a full recovery
