The Techne if I take off the mic and take a jack 3.5mm and plug it on headset it will work on the phone. I will be happy if you answer it’s important for me .
@@H.Ghost.H Btw this doesnt have an included 3.5 mm jack so you have to buy that on a store in order for it to work properly, i am also not sure if the headset would turn itself off automatically when ypu plug the jack since this doesnt have a hole meant for a headphone jack.
@@H.Ghost.H I will also warn you to avoid doing what you really want to do because the feedback loop which was created because the jack is placed on a wrong port will destroy your audio device. Buy the ordinary cloud flight if you want to use a headphone jack.
Ultra Instinct thanks for answer of course i want to use it wireless on my pc, but I’m asking to know if I can use it with my phone when I go out and not necessarily to use the mic on my phone I don’t have a problem if the mic will disable when I plug to phone
Ultra Instinct some people told me you don’t have any chance to use it on phone even if you find a 3.5mm jack it won’t work

Maybe I got unlucky. Maybe it was a bad batch. But a day after I got it. Something went wrong. It was damaged. I sent it back. Minor set back. A day in. I liked it. But then came the 2nd day. I had a complete loss of sound quality. The mic went to crap and everything went wrong

Loved my Flights and used them for a little under 2 years when abruptly they stopped charging 2 days ago - charging port must have bugged out. Probably will still try to get them fixed by warranty, but used the opportunity to buy the new Flight S. This review is accurate and helpful, I dig them - even with the weird fake 7.1 option, that's not a downside. Very comfy headset and the added buttons are a plus. Losing the red LED is a good thing too, subtle is better. Did not know Qi chargers were that cheap, will pick one up, thanks for the tip!
How are they holding up? Does the build feel cheap? I am debating on getting these or the new gpro x headset that was announced.

The Techne, I have the original cloud flights, should I upgrade or just keep mine. I typically use them wired just for the more open sound stage but the new ones have really nice features. I was just curious of your opinion.
do they hurt your head after 9+ hrs, is there alot of clamping force
@@alexhajal119 no they dont hurt after 9 plus hours. i thought they would feel a lot heavier thna they do

@@gerardovictoria9309 I do think the volume is low.. I just adjust it to my comfort level. I've don't have problems with the chat volume either.
@@alexhajal8245 I've played around 9hrs+ a couple of times, my ears didn't hurt. They did get a little warm from lack of air flow. I wear glasses too which can hurt your ears with a headset on but this HyperX headset is very comfortable, so it doesn't hurt my ears. I recommend it.
Great review! i was looking into these since i had just a pair up today, and was trying to test them out, and couldnt seem to get those higher notes like my old pair. then you spoke about the 7.1 difference and it made up almost all the issue i had.

@@troviftw6480 unfortunately no, you cannot. It doesn't have a headphone jack port on it for wired use.

Don't. These headphones are horrendous. Just bought a pair and i'm returning them tomorrow, honestly very poor quality sound. It's ironic because I have been using a wired pair of theirs called the HyperX Cloud and they were pretty good for the most part and have a large volume cap, however the lows were too much to really feel out footsteps in games about 40% of the time. These headphones have a better sound stage than the Cloud's and better directional sense, but lord the mediums and highs (contrary to what this reviewer said) are terrible. The surround sound is a joke from what I can tell, it just makes the highs EVEN HIGHER. It's honestly laughable. I've done the homework and done as much optimizing as I can, but there's very little options for that. To prove my point, HyperX has an app called Hyper NGENUITY to tweak the headset, but there's a max of 4 buttons to change and 3 volume meters to play with. Genuinely so upset these turned out so bad. I legitimately laughed at their app for these headphones. If I were you, don't make impulse buys and purchase exclusively LOGITECH. They have the best optimization possible for their products through their super convenient one-does-all app. They have an easier time pairing and making life easy, all you have to do is find the right headset, unfortunately HyperX just proved to me they aren't about quality with these dogshit headphones.

Nice review! I picked up this headset based on your feedback the other day along with a wireless charging pad. When charging wirelessly I noticed that you can hear a chirping sound coming from the headset. According to HyperX this is likely feedback being picked up by the speaker as the charger is working. I also observed that the headset seems to continue to request power even after full as my charging pad never indicates power was turned off and the headset ear cup is warm to the touch after sitting there for several hours and after I know its full. HyperX mentioned that this headset continues to trickle charge. Did you observe either of these two behaviors at all? The chirping sound is particularly annoying as it basically means I can't sit next to it while charging without it being bothersome so thought I would share. Thanks!

Would you go for Cloud Flight S or Cloud 2 wireless since you've had a chance to review them both at this point? I love my cloud flights ( original ) but I was looking for something with more overall volume. Using on PS4 would you say new cloud 2 wireless headset is louder than cloud flight original?

Great review. But there is something a lot of reviewers miss which is the fact that party/game sound balance works on PC only as stated in the headsets’ manual.
so no good on console?
@@mikesgonzalez2717 Most consoles have an adjustable setting on the system itself so it's not a massive issue

Question, having used and tested both the flight and flight s, are the flight s worth the extra £40+ or would going with the old flight be worth while?
Can I use this headphones with sidetone to hear myself but then tell discord to use my external mic. I should still be able to hear myself with sidetone right?

Are these good on regular ps4? I know you mentioned ps4 pro but wasn’t sure if there was a huge difference regarding headset performance between the two consoles. Any help would be much appreciated in making my final decision on this headset.

I went with hyperx and I’m happy. I heard Arctis 7 lose any 7.1 capabilities when paired with ps. But mainly for comfort and durability hyped has SteelSeries beat. But need usb won’t pair with a slim

Manufacture site lists the headset frequency response (FR) between 10Hz-20kHz. Microphone FR 50Hz-18kHz.

I wonder if this has the hissing/white noise that the Older Flight's had. I'm currently using the GSP 370 after getting 3 replacements for the Older Flights due to the hissing/white noise which I found out after researching is a manufacturing defect.

Does this headset have the toggle of chat audio or game audio because your video says it does but doesnt state if is for pc of ps4. I am buying it to use it in a PS4. People are stating this feature only works in a PC and not in the Playstation 4 is this true? So just got it upgraded from my stealth 400 turtle beach on ps4 so maybe 4+ years old. It sounds good definitely more clear but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't tinker with the bass or other sounds like I could in my turtle beach apparently you can't do that on the ps4 worth these? I think ill be returning its not bad but for what I paid 150 I expected more especially since I have upgraded in 4 years. Ill be trying the steele pro series next. So really comfy and definitely clear but since my old gaming headset is perfectly fine and I can adjust certain sounds on the headset. That's probably the only thing that ruined it for me not being able to dial in sound. Not bad though just not much of a upgrade to me. Super comfy and noise reduction though.

Ive put the pop filter from the cloud 2 microphone and it fits perfectly, the led indicator isn’t hidden
Does the surround sound work on PS4? Question is because there's no optical cable involved and Sony doesn't usually share their codec with other manufacturers to get 7.1 out of the USB port

Yeah but what about background noises while streaming? Like, the buzzing in the background while streaming. Does it help eliminate that????
I have the original Cloud Flight and they are GREAT. The only flaws: No visual indicator on the microphone if it is active or not. If you mute the mic and leave it on mute for a minute or two, you forget to have muted it since the audio hint is only played when you change state. The S have an LED so issue solved. Another problem with the original Flight is the lose volume adjustment. I cannot get them to adjust volume by 1 point in Windows 10, it goes always in steps of 2 or 4 sometimes. If the S have this fixed, perfect. The last problem is the battery indicator. There is NONE on the Flight, the LED on S is a bit of an improvement but the implementation sucks. I'd like Green for top 1/3, orange for middle 1/3 and red for bottom 1/3 of the battery, no blinking .... Anyway since my Cloud Flight are falling apart from the amount of use, I think I'll give the S a try. Thanks for the review.

no popping sound when I tested the 7.1 now I just about never use surround sound on headsets, I like the balanced sound, 7.1 on headsets just sounds so bad to me

i got these but the sound almost feels muffled.. like the audio quality changes when used.. its strange, the old versions of the hyperx cloud flight has waaaay clearer and better sound in my opinion, maybe its a setting i forgot? but i cant find it in the hyperx software

Tyler Krasavage I don’t recommend buying them I just got mine in the mail and the sound quality is trash compared to the $50 headphones that I currently have.there’s little to no customization, and the 7.1 surround sound doesn’t change anything it just makes the game louder.
These headsets are good at first but it's a pain to constantly charge them. I've had them for about a year now and the earcups are starting to wear down having the leather fall off the headset.
Does anyone have the issue with the headset where discord volume always stays the same regardless of overall volume? I find it both kind of nice and a nuance, I think there's buttons on the headset to adjust them but without the software open they don't work. Having chat volume stay the same is nice so that you can adjust game volume based off chat without always having to go into settings.

Great review!! Im exited for these. I just don't understand the removal of the headphone jack. I mean, they make it super casual and almost usable in public, but then they dont include bluetooth or a headphone jack...? Feels like a small addition which would push more people to buy them. Besides that they look amazing
