    • You do a wonderful job instructing. Thank you so much. But, have you considered removing the background music while speaking? It’s very distracting when trying to focus on the instructions.

  • I am very grateful that you let the backgroundmusic be after a few minutes because it is so hard to listen. So thank you!! And for your great ideas of doing an invironmentfriendly journal using all kind of things instead of buying it all.

  • I’m old and have a serious problem hearing what’s being said with music in the background. This is not a criticism; my hope is to make you aware of limitations some of your watchers find problematic. This is my old ears having old lady problems. I appreciate your information and am a new subscriber. I’d love to see a video about making handmade paper.

    • I have the same problem. The music is very dominant in this video. I have to leave videos like this, unfortunately. I'm hypersensitive due to a five year old concussion, so I deeply prefer videos without music at all. I can't "receive" on more than "one channel" - soundwise.

    • Same🙁too much loud music when I was younger, I guess. Headphones don’t help as it’s the ambient sound that competes with the dialogue. It’s worth the struggle though as these videos are great to watch.🙂

Being someone who loves vintage I enjoy everything about an old book so the thought of cutting one up broke my heart. You turned it into such a lovely journal I think I could probably work up the courage to do it. I’ll just have to **inhale** really big, **exhale** blow it out-ok...I can do this. Shake it out. All systems are go. Whew!! Little nervous thinking about cutting up a book but I’m good now. Oh yeah and I loved the labels you made. Have to see if you have a video for that as well. So thanks again. You are a very talented crafter!! God bless!

    • Thank you! I get most of my papers from old books and music sheets that I buy from goodwill or get for free from “free book” shelves at libraries and around town. If I do spend money on papers it’s usually a multipack of colored card stock that you can find at dollar stores, Walmart, or Amazon for super cheap. I say, if you can fold it, you can bind it! That’s the beauty of junk journals. Experiment with packaging or try coffee dying or painting regular computer paper to add variety if you can’t get out the house. Junk mail is a great way to get pages too!
