This mouse has been absolutely perfect for me. Replaced the G-Pro wireless for me after years of use. If you're even remotely a fan of ergo shapes, this is just a welcomed shape.

Guy easily gets offended, I just commented in rjn video how this looks like my HP mouse in the office back in 2016. Its my opinion im not shitting on your accomplishment. People will have their preferrence, the same people that buys this product. Mind you I was about to buy this product becoz i loved my hp mouse back in the day. But decided not to after that rude uncalled for reaction.

I recently got mine and going from a little too oversized DeathAdder from 2013 to the MZ1 is mind-blowing. Accuracy is dead-on, Zy got it perfect for my small hands

Great mouse with a solid build, great sensor and buttons. I knew the shape would be an issue but decided to give it a shot anyway, will give it a days to see.
My copy is pretty much flawless, alignments and all, love it!
This is very cool, props to RJN. And funnily enough I know that I would hate this mouse, but I know that in large part because of what I've learned from Zy's content, and learning his preferences has helped me make informed decisions and learn what I like and what works for me. So even then you know how important he's been for this space, and a lot of people will share his tastes making this a great pickup for a lot of people. Personally I've learned that I don't like a raised back, it's my biggest issue with the Zowie S. I favour a tilt grip for both comfort and performance and that means at least the rear right of the mouse needs to be low. I prefer an asymmetrical shape that offers a genuinely ergonomic space for the third and fourth fingers. I've also learned that I agree with what the Vaxee designers said about comfort curves on mouse buttons, that the click feeling is more consistent (and imo better) without them. So while his mouse may not be for me I've been able to find mice that are thanks to him, and I hope this does well for him. And great video as always Brian! (is it weird for fans to call him Brian... should I say BadSeed? BST? :P)

I have pretty much the same handsize as Zy. I can't wait to get my hands (or rather hand) on this mouse.
For lotion recommendations, I would like to recommend you looking at some Cetaphil products.
I can confirm my copy does not have the mouse 1 issue and has even less side play on both M1 and 2. Love the videos man keep up the great work!!
First time being here so early, excited to see what this mouse can do!
The shape is almost exactly what I've had in my head as my "perfect mouse" for years now (hump completely at the back, really low front, and nice finger grooves). My hands are pretty much the same size as yours (20x10cm), and I usually use like a palm/claw hybrid grip on my current mouse, the Logitech G900. I might have to pick this up and give it a try, especially since it doesn't require software. That's awesome.

What i want to see is an mz1 wired without holes. Like razer did on the viper mini 61 grams without holes all internal cut out to make it lighter and solid build quality.
Got this mouse and absolutely love it!!!! I have similar hand size to Zy and this really works for me. I tried placing my fingers where he does and…. That’s a no go for me haha but nonetheless this is an awesome mouse and I def recommend giving it a shot if you’re interested.
Just got mine today an for someone with big hands that has practice with multiple grip styles I think it’s a good mouse not great claw but non the less It feels really good an I feel no discomfort
I’ve been having a hard time finding a lightweight mouse that’s comfortable for fingertip grip, similar hand size to yours (19.5 x 11). Best I could find so far is the g pro. Pulsefire haste is ok but it’s up there too. Any recommendations?

I love the look and function of this mouse, VERY interested in the shape. Looks like it should be perfect, BUT it's too small. If they scaled it up to about the size of the EC1, it may be the perfect choice for those of us who prefer XL mice.
Chosing a mouse is like buying shoes. All you can take from others is looks or production quality, but at the end of the day YOU need to be comfy with it.
Mine has quite a bit quality issues, but the shape is oddly interesting. Got it recently and i always have had hard time fully adjusting to small mice such as Orochi, VMini etc but that thicc & instant hump of MZ1 really does benefit claw grippers *a lot* despite it's short lenght, height and grip width. -Interesting / good shape for many handsizes -Suitable for different variations of claw and fingertip which is rare -Nice, fast and tactile main clicks. They are infact very well tensioned, i really like the minimum pre-travel to prevent accidental clicks,nothing obnoxious/irritating -Solid side buttons with nice tactility and minimal post/pre-travel -A good looking RGB is never necessity but always appreciated and that one looks stellar. Wish they had M42/M4 in that smokey colorway too since it's badass and looks very nice. Reactive dual-tone effects are vibe. I really wish Xtrfy had kept that type of RGB on their Wireless line : MZ1 , M4 , M42. Under the button strip just looks spectacular in comparison to any other mouse at least in my opinion. Downsides : Pre-travel on M2 feels "springy" which is very weird and unpleasing. Springy feel as if there is something sticky in there. The entire right side flexing and creacking. Feet are barely rounded, along with being small and tiny, makes the experience quite scratchy. I never vibed with Xtrfy's scroll wheels, so needless to say am not happy with that one either. Even back from G703, i never vibed with rubber wheel that much as they tend to feel sluggish/irresponsive compared to GPW/GPX/RVU/Orochi etc. M3 is heavy and so is the wheel, steps doesn't feel as defined as RVU's for ex. but rather just heavy/sluggish. Could be just me.
Mine will arrive tomorrow, cannot wait to try it out, hopefully it live to the hype. Now, unfair question for you: If you had to choose an OrochiV2 or a ZysRail for a main, which one would you pick?

Do you have any mice that would fit fingertip grip, hand size is 6.6 x 3? Or at least have any recommendations, unfortunately I was not graced with an average hand size.

Hi , I own a razor lachesis (10 year old mouse) Im wondering if razor didn't try this shape first. Its a larger mouse and I love it but very dated. ? Any thoughts, and are the any similarly shaped mice on the market currently. the xtrfy looks a little to small for my hand. thank you.

As a casual gamer that generally rests my wrist on a pad, I really like mouse buttons being closer to the surface. Keeps my hand and wrist more in line and not bending upward. Hard to tell if the hump in the back would negate this though. I would like mouse manufacturers to make the rear of the mouse more slender. My palm when holding a mouse does not flare out in the back, in fact just the opposite, so I don't know why they make mice this way.
This is the best mouse I have ever had. I have had various mouses like the Razer Viper, Glorious Model O, Endgame XM1r and of course this one, this is the best one for me by quite some distance as good as the others were. I am somewhat of an anomaly because I love this mouse but my hands are also huge but what works for me, works.
@badseedtech Thanks Brien for the review. Awesome as always my man. I think you just got a bad trigger copy. Mine doesn't have that rise on mouse one. Yes it is a mouse made for small hand users as much as I would like to tell everyone as well to go and get one it's not gonna be for everyone out there. I noticed a drastic improvement in my game play on day one once I started using the MZ1. Some may say placebo but nah I don't need Placebo. I have been fps gaming for over 15 years. I know a when something is helping my aim and when something isn't helping my aim. This mouse helps my aim. Awesome content as usual my man. I know you don't know me cause I don't always comment but rest assured I do drop in and watch your views on the tech you are reviewing. With that being said, Have a good week and God Bless man. That's a lot more positive than I was expecting given I thought the mouse would be unusable in your larger mitts. Still fairly certain it will be unusable for me though, gonna be rolling over my pinkie all day long.
Love all of the Xtrfy mice. Nice build quality and haptics, but no wireless is a dealbreaker for me, these days. Gotta wait for the wireless.

Honestly, I just want a wireless version. Xtrfy will probably never make a wireless mouse, but the mouse shape just seems so good as someone who has a G203, and does not really like the egg shape.

If I were to design a mouse it would likely be a mix between the Basilisk v2 and Orochi v2. Medium sized, egg shaped with ergo features and lots of grip.

I don’t understand what the use is for the f11 button is. In games it just toggles full screen mode, so every time I press it my game switches to borderless. I do not know how this feature got released into the final copy.

I'm looking for a mouse that has all the latest tech plus 3 thumb buttons, two thumb button standard just doesn't cut it for First Person Shooters. currently using the razer basilisk v 2
Man how I miss my Naga's num pad. 2 side buttons just isn't enough. I hate using the keyboard for weapon switching and stuff. Idk how people click them so fast, and you have to stop moving too.

Comment on this vid is super late to the party, but I love the look and feel of this mouse. And I don't do any FPS gaming at all with it. Instead, my MZ1 is my ultimate productivity mouse. It's more ergonomic and easy to use than my previous productivity mouse, the Logitech MX Master 3. And of course, the RGB on it makes my home office setup complete.
