  • Imagine Tao's journey since the beginning of this year's Giro. Out of the top 10 of the general classification in the first* half of the tour until the start of the mountain stages where he started to work his way up and now tied with the pink jersey. Excellent job by the team.🙌👏👏👏

    • @@Tim-K. I'm referring to conditions that the DS can't control. Race tactics is entirely fair game. And even if we choose to go down, "who had it worse", I can mention the fact that for the first week, Tao was doing a domestique's job, shuttling water bottles back and forth.

  • This giro shows how stacked ineos is. Geraint gets injured on day 1, they go for stagewins, get 6 ( + probably ganna wins last tt), and then tao gets atleast 2nd gc. i wish we had more teams with that kind of financial backing.

  • Another top 5 place for João Almeida, our "pantera". He deserved the podium but I hope he can finish at least on 4th. Watch out Pello. And... I fell so bad for Kelderman. He would have won this Giro and he deserved it but Sunweb wanted 1st and 2nd on GN. Now they'll have 2nd and 3rd. Karma for disrespecting Wilco. See u tomorrow lads for the last day

    @ftsportugal@ftsportugal3 жыл бұрын
    • He was dropped out the back with 45km to go on a high mountain stage. Credit to him for digging in and only losing 2 minutes, but there was no way for Sunweb to know that. He could have cracked completely and lost 10 minutes or more, and if Hindley had dropped back then TGH would have just ran away with the Giro. Honestly Sunweb should probably have told Hindley to attack. He just rode on TGH's wheel the entire way because Kelderman was behind, but TGH was putting in so much effort that a dig in the last few kilometers might have distanced him and given Hindley 10-15 seconds on TGH, which would have been huge
