  • With no dominating Team able to lock the race tactics from start to finish, this Giro delivers unexpected stage winners each day. Let's hope we will have the same situation during the Tour in July.

    • Ever since sky (ineos) started domintating the tour the giro has become so much more interesting. Different winner every year and the maglia rosa changing riders constantly

    • Team ineos will bring their strongest team. G, froome, bernal, poels, kwiatkowski. impossible to break although the stages look quite tough.

  • Landa's attack was very well set up by Movistar, with Carapaz behind him no one could immediately get onto the wheel removing instincts and making people hesitate, enabling Landa to get clear.

    • I've seen that move a couple of times this year. Quick-Step used it to allow Asgreen to clinch 2nd in the Tour of Flanders and Lampaerts helped Gilbert with it in Paris-Roubaix too. Smart when the riders are so tired that they can't react instantly.

    • Despina Zeykili I don’t think Nibali can come close to Carapaz. No way that it happened. However tomorrow can be a sort of ‘nervous’ day. I think Nibali will try to attack, because many kilometres are downhill and he likes that. But it doesn’t help anything. Hero Carapaz is extremely full of confidence and will follow Nibali easy

  • This has been the most boring Giro in many many years, losing Doumolin possibly allowed more riders to relax too much. I wish Rob Hatch would stop adding that unnecessary foreign accent at every opportunity, it just makes him sound like a pretentious pratt.
