You can AFK in the LS Car Meet when you go to test drive a car, as soon as you enter the test track immediately go back up the ramp in the little menu when it gives you the option to enter the Car meet or leave the car meet you are able to AFK, O found this out from GhillieMaster’s Latest LSCM rep video

Thanks for the tips. Something not said was it does not have to be just Tuner cars at the meet garage. You WILL get rep points if you customize your other vehicles in there also.
The rep system is the one thing holding this DLC back in my opinion. There needs to be other ways to boost your rep like selling cars from your tuner garage. As a person who only occasionally does races and isn't really good at them, I don't see myself doing street and pursuit races 500+ times.
Meh. Rockstar is just reverting back to their old roots. Those who play minimally should not be able to gain unlocks easy. If so, the game loses its playability in a months time. Therefore lost profits for Rockstar.
While I like the idea that car guys/gals can show off items they got through the grind, part of me wishes you could buy the items for an increased price like you could with arena war. Either that or they better be doing a lot of 2x and 3x rep weeks.
Same here. I am a 53 year old disabled veteran. Arthritis, spinal stenosis, I can't race well. Then....stick drift... To win the car, I have hubby let me win once per day. Yay! I was shocked and disappointed NONE of the auto shop activities give you rep. I mean, seriously? Add in the staff crashes 9/10 times, the mods are rarely bonuses, but penalties. Still, it's better than VIP work for money vs time.
The auto shop is separate from the Meet, the only relation it has is the fact that Moodyman and his girl attend the meet. Their auto shop business and mini heists are their own thing, has nothing to do with the Meet.

Its clearly just a way to keep us busy while we wait months for the next content drops. 1000 levels is very excessive though you're right. Hopefully they have a car at the end

Im guessing Rockstar didn't think to much on how we can earn rep cause there is no real good way to earn rep.
Same exact problem with Arena War. There's no way whatsoever to ever unlock the high end rank stuff because the payouts are shit and nobody does it.
You get 5000 for winning a street race against 7 others. So, it’s still a ridiculous grind, but I assume the idea was to make the new clothes a way for good drivers to brag that they are good drivers.
I just grind races. As long as you don't get sentimental about someone ramming you off the road, you can easily do 5-10 a day, then focus on grinding the one thing races are never good at paying: money.

@@mineralinis Unfortunately they won't make you any rep. I wish the rep system went into all races, even the classic street races along with the stunt ones.
The thing about pursuit races is that you cant consistently win because either you get smashed by someone at the start or a laggy police car bumps you, etc... Even if you are fast you may not win regularly.
even street races aren’t safe, I hit the corpse of the girl who counts down the start by accident and did a whole flip from 2nd to last. meanwhile everyone else was just unaffected if they drove over her
That's races in general tbh. I spent most of a race in first place until what I assumed was the host lagged into me, pushed me off a bridge, and got me into last place. Definitely grind races without the winning mentality. Anything can happen especially with pursuit races.
Yea if you’re a good racer pursuit races just ruin you with lag I’ve done 12 street races and won EVERY SINGLE ONE by at least 10-20 ahead of second place sometimes 30 so I took my confidence to a street race and it was a shit fest of lag and crashes Went back to street races and instantly won again I’m level 720 and Ive been going up against level 300s 400s 500s but I still won every single time by a lot even with catchup and slip stream on

Welp,guess i start grinding to hit all future cars trade prices and hopefully unlock the NfS Most Wanted Livery. They better do 2x and 3x REP events instead of like Arena Wars where 2x and 3x Arena Points are avaible as modifiers,but never activated in an event.

Rockstar need to give us reps for doing the contracts, the payout is too small compared to Cayo.
that’s because the contracts aren’t big heists they’re mini heists, they should give a little more but it shouldn’t be at cayo level

Instead of rubber banding your controller, go to the test track, drive up to the exit and stay afk in the menu that asks if you want to enter or exit the ls car meet. You’ll be able to stay afk even if your controller runs out of battery.

7:31 is a deceiving shortcut, everybody misses the left alleyway here surprisingly, you still hit the checkpoints and it saves you a few seconds!

Tip for the Calico and other AWD/FWD cars with a tendency to understeer: Use left-foot braking, i.e. hold the brake and throttle down at the same time while you turn. It takes a second to "kick in", but when it does, the tail end of the car will come out to a point of drifting. I use this very often with the Armored Karuma, but it's especially useful with the Calico which has a tendency to plow/understeer in corners.
I just wish it had 0% off road traction loss like the Sultan RS classic and the Kuruma
I found I get more rep from going in the test track than standing or walking around

Afk in the test track bishes
Do the time trials in the test track.. start with a really shit time, like 3+ minutes. Then just start working your way down beating your time by a few seconds each time. I managed to gain 3 levels this way. It is a bit time consuming, tedious, and boring though.

If yall want a cheap tip to get the car by doing the “place top 3 3 days in a row” just host a street race, turn off slipstream and catchup and make it one lap. Makes it way quicker and easier for the top 3 to maintain.
Or just launch the race by yourself or with 3 ppl only

A go way to do it, when your are sleeping or away from your pc or console, spin that record and when your are playing switch between pursuit races and street races to not get bored to quick.

It should be noted that while spinning in circles is bad for rep gain, it's brilliant for rep gain when you are sleeping or at work. I'm getting several levels each work day and each night by doing this with a little weighted peg on my A key.

In practice, the AFK rep works all day. I'm wondering if the 10 times a day means 10 times per GTA day, or 48 minutes.
10 times per GTA day (48 minutes real life). 4 minutes per tick, so 4th minutes, 8th minutes, 12th minutes, 16th minutes, 20th minutes, 24th minutes, 28th minutes, 32nd minutes, 36th minutes, 40th minutes. (No ticks at 44th minutes and 48th minutes). 10 rep per tick without Los Santos Car Meet clothing. 20 rep per tick with any Los Santos Car Meet clothing.
I still haven't even unlocked all the bunker unlocks yet 😂
Just take a friend into the test track and take turns in winning head to heads and scrambles. I’ve only got 1 trade price to go on the current 10 cars available and have barely pushed for rep. Been doing Cayo and the auto shop contracts.

I find it is a lot easier to win a street race than the pursuit race. There is so much luck involved with pursuit race with all the NPC vehicles and cops crashing into you.
I earn rep while i'm sleeping and wake up 5-10 levels higher than I was the previous day. I'm not bothered to race for clothes.
So it would be almost impossible to unlock those high rank stuff when the dlc become less popular. Since the street race need at least two players to start, and pursuit race need at least four players to start. Where can we find people to play with when the dlc died out ?

did some math and to get to rep lvl 75 (to get all car trade prices) with a friend together it would take 3 hours assuming perfect 90 second races and equal win/loss ratio between the two of you
I wish there were a few more options to earn rep like doing tasks for the hosts of the car meet or something like that. Personally I find races incredibly boring most of the time (vast minority I know) though I have enjoyed the new ones a lot but it becomes tedious after a few matches and non-contact is literally essiential because people forget the meaning of the term "personal space". I'm fine with races being the best way to earn rep, that just makes the most sense, I just wish there were more variety in ways of gaining it. I'm probably going to just go for all the trade prices then call it a day but all that said, while this will still be a serious grind, it's at least more consistant and enjoyable than Arena War so I suppose that's a good silver lining

Also try the export exotics , you get $20000 $$$, and 1000 RP (regular rank up) and I believe 100 street rep. I did it my first board in a couple hours.
You can earn rep by inviting people to a sprint race and then quit it right when they join to get the rep without doing the actual race. You can do this a much as you want and you can earn a level a minute

AFK Method Go to one of the three new cars and test drive one of them. When you load into the track simply reverse to the gate and it'll give you two choices to either Enter or Exit the Meet,don't choose either. Simply stay on that menu and you won't get kicked. I play on XBOX and I used to disconnect from games when my controller turned off and I'd get kicked for inactivity. To counter this go into Settings -> Preferences -> Idle Options and UNTICK the SMTWI box Hope this helps :)

When you do the guides for the street and pursuit races could you do separate routes for the jester rr and calico where they would apply? because they’re the two most dominant tuners so far and obviously since they are different cars they have different strengths .
trust me dont worry about the jester RR, its rwd handling cant keep up with the awd calico, almost every race has no long straights, and thats the only strength the jester has over the calico, no straights, no chance for jester to beat the calico
@@thomas751 i would say its the opposite, the calico wins in long straights and the jester rr wins in turns, with the jester rr you can mantain your speed while going thru corners and the calico almost always requires you to brake a little. If the person knows how to use the calico that person will always win. The jester rr can give it a fight.
@@daga534 oh yeah definitely ive raced both and can win in both versing other experienced players, its down to preference, i just love the acceleration out of the hairpins in the calico, they’re the times i get away from jesters

I’ve been grinding since day 1 of dlc winning over 65 races of first place and have had my ps5 on for 3 days. I’m barely level 59 of 1000 levels! I even did 15 laps and there is no rep bonus only money bonus!

The leave exploit only works for 6 or so times before it becomes redundant. Buuut you can also do this with scramble assuming you and your friend are the only people on the track

How do I do street races with my own car? I’ve been playing some online races and I only get to choose from the same five or six cars each time.
You have to have custom cars turned on and your car has to be tuner class
