Insane 3000HP Twin Turbine 46' Skater Boat "Hellfire" Debuts in Lake Havasu

The 46' flame throwing twin jet turbine "Hellfire" Skater powerboat hits the waters of Lake Havasu City, AZ! This speed boat is one of a kind and has customization's from the ground up. The owner also has a matching custom painted Euro-copter EC130 Helicopter. The pair is truly a show stopper... The boat is currently rigged with twin turbine engines producing thousands of horsepower with Mercury Racing #6 drives and Herring props. The hull is carbon laid and capable of speeds over 200mph.
Pulling the cat out into the sunlight at the beginning shows what a piece of art those boats are and the views at the end 7:22 are awesome. Thank you so much you didn't pollute the video with any music. Cheers! 🍻

I'm not a boat guy but I am an engine and engineering guy and holy cow this thing is just insane. Love it and hearing it go is a privilege. Seeing the end of the video with what I believe is an ICE engine in comparison with it was just smashing. Church music the whole thing. My hat's off to the owner for having the muscle to get this done in all the ways they have. Just ace. :-)

I was a groomsman in the wedding of the daughter of one of the people involved in the reassembly of the London bridge that took place under the bridge on the one side back in 1980. Seeing that lake again brings back memories. What an amazing boat. How fast can it go on that smooth water?
Stunning boat.. I used to ski years back with a small boat with a Mercury 75 fitted, & that was quick enough! That rooster tail probably means skiing is out😄

Hell yea man, grew up drag racing watching too fuelers and I spent almost every holiday weekend at the lake of the ozarks growing up I always loved these crazy fast boats. I remember when Qatar took there twin turbine 244mph at the ozarks. So cool y'all I love and respect the attention to detail and you can have riders so comfortable in padded race seats. Very very cool super boat sorry I'm not sure what you call something so show quality yet plenty of seats and such power. Maybe someday I can see one up close and get some pics.

I have never seen such an absolutely amazing and spectacular piece of marine engineering in my life!! Not only does the boat perform fantastic, it sounds and looks out of this world , l can't imagine the pride and joy the owner of this fabulous machine must feel operating such an absolute thing of beauty, I'm truly astounded by its beautiful lines! These are works of art. I and male members of my family gravitate towards Drag boats, some of which have turbines but most have BIG turbo GMBB based engine designs. But these boats are like fine music solidified into metal and carbon fiber.....

WoW ! I did not think anyone would try to emulate the Skater twin turbine Howard Arneson did 25 years ago. Well done. He also invented the "Arneson surface drive" Much more efficiant way or propulsion IMHO. Arneson also set the speed record for the "Missippi river challenge" from New orleans to St Lois in river traffic and beat his transportation vehicle by 10-hourse (it left the night before) and that was in his original single turbine engine w/Arneson surface drive in a 35' cat

I was on a 46 skater 160 mp. That was back in 2006. It hard for people to understand how fast that feels on that water. Amazing how quickly speds are getting faster since the early 80s fast offshore in those days was in the 80s.
On water really is a different ball game. I had the pleasure of riding shotgun on a 36 Skater @ 128Mph and that was a rush. I cant imagine what the 200 range is like.

Were you on Jet Set? In NJ? I had the pleasure of doing 180 on that boat in 1999, completely memorable experience. Joe, the owner, really nice for taking us for a ride
