I honest to God could not understand what it is like to go through it, I know it will always happen and hopefully they are in a much much better place then here. I've seen coast guard inflatables with four 300hp outboards on them. Fin might get away at first but they won't be far behind!
When Cleeter started sawing at the wheel I was like OH SHIT!! NO!!! I thought he was gonna flip the thing and I think so did Finnegan. I was amazed how calmly Finnegan handled it. He obviously has tons of money and years of sweat in that boat. Most dudes would never let someone else (with no boating experience) drive a boat like this! This just shows what cool guy Finnegan is! Great collaboration!
Plus you have to think about the fact that cleetus has a lot of cars that have garbage alignments so he might've thought it was fine but he honestly did a good job getting it back together after that

That is insane. We had a 454 big block with a dual holly tunnel ram on a 20 ft get boat in the early 80 and I though that was crazy. Them twin turbos sound amazing.

You've gotta have a massive amount of respect for a person.. and massive confidence in someone's ability to not be stupid and reckless with your stuff/your life... Massive balls don't hurt though either. I'd have been absolutely flattered if I were Cleetus.
Growing up I’ve learned a great lesson. Never operate anything you can’t afford. Cleetus can afford to replace a jet boat.

When I lived in Nashville we’d go out to the lakes and guys had boats similar to this except no one back in the 70s ran turbo motor, supercharged and dual quad tunnel rams were the norm but the ran a lot of jet drives, wick cool

Ive just bought a scarab 38ft (the squalo II from vivwith ~1100hp are jet drives something to look into first boat only worked on cars before, mopar big blocks, rb26s, hondas mopar 451 stroker, 440s etc

Lol, Mike just about shat himself when the boat started yawing a little.
Yawing isn't necessarily the issue, it's the direction of movement vs the yaw angle, and the speed of the yaw. Fish tailing in the water at speed isn't good, and drifting/donuts in the water at speed is a recipe for rapid occupant ejection and potential watercraft deconstruction.
