    • @@BoatZone $3500 a day is a million a year. If you ran some of these boats every day, that's close to the fuel cost. The guys that buy these boats, they just take the fuel cost and put it in "the budget". It's just part of the day. The credit card given to me for my job, when I "on it" full time is easily $10,000 a month and sometimes it's $30,000 a month. I don't even call those expenses in. As a heads-up I mean. I've bought lunch before at $5,500. Yea it's insane money. But for some people, it is literally just what Thursday lunch cost. "Some people" means just that, not saying I'm 'some people'. I know a guy that has private jet and private island kinda money. His house in my hometown, he has 10 guys working in his yard every day. Every day. He has 3 acres of shop under AC with classic cars. I've seen the insurence list. $15,000,000. He has 3 guys in there full time. I know another guy that 10 years ago was watching Barrett Jackson on tv, he told his wife that a car collection "could be fun". They had a 60 Vette already. He went to a few auctions, had 75 cars within 45 days. If a guy wants to spend $5,000 a day ON the days he drives the boat. More powr to him. It's cheaer than a cocaine habit.

  • 2:48 - C@SEA - that vessel is absolutely breathtaking. You can tell the owners not only have exquisite taste, they also have exacting standards that they pay the crew to uphold. Even the anchors and pockets are perfectly polished! That boat would pass even my mother’s inspection!! 😂😂😂

  • I think I'd still take a Bering 80 over most of those yachts. You can go anywhere you want, fit just about anywhere you want, go as far as you want, and stay out for as long as you want. You only burn about 10 gph and have a range of 5-6k miles.

  • If someone has over 100 million, they could buy either one ofmthese yachts and with the money still,inmthe bank accruing interest on investments and savings, they can afford the running costs as well. I worked on yachts, and none of these are billionaire yachts.

    • That sandbar is the ROCKS along the outlet shore. No sand until he goes around the corner of the outlet at the beach. Very dangerous position for that P Boarder.

  • I noticed you put the price of diesel in the corner of a couple of the boats… in Canada where I am at it is $1.69 per litre, so that makes it roughly $6.76 per gallon. That is as of July 9, 2023…

  • I was part of a crew delivering a 65' yacht down the coast of California to Mexico and we did a "Burn rate curve" to see how much fuel she burns at each speed. At 30 knots, we were burning 300 gallons an hour. . . . Some of these yachts take half my life's savings just to fill up their tanks. . . What are ya going to do. . . .

  • Somewhat accurate in cost if they’re filling these yachts up with regular diesel and not marine grade diesel. Marine grade diesel is about $1.50-$2 per gallon more then regular diesel like he is referencing. More like $6 per gallon and not $4

Also, when you put your ´boat´ to work, this will help a lot too. I have a bigger ´boat´than most of the presented in your video, and I don't complain. The vessel works for itself, and I get to use it for myself from time to time, practically ´for free´.

  • Even if I could afford one of these, I would never want a boat that required a paid captain and crew. I wouldn't want anything bigger than what I could pilot myself and that could be crewed by my family and friends. And yeah, that's easy for me to say when I could never afford one of these! Haha. But even boats that meet my criteria can still be very nice and very big and very expensive! 😂
