🔒Where are yachts made?
The Worlds most luxurious Yachts are built in the shipyards of the Netherlands and Germany by the famous yacht builders Feadship, Blohm+ Voss and Amels who are rated amongst the very top Yacht builders today.
🔒How are boats manufactured?
With fiberglass boat building, however, the major components of the boat - the hull, deck, liner, and large parts like consoles-are molded from fiberglass. ... The mold is first sprayed with gelcoat, then fiberglass cloth is applied, and then resin is used to saturate or “wet out” the fiberglass.

  • I have personally toured the Bavaria Factory......They have an awesome facility and really do a great job on the production line....I think they are hands down one of the best production boat manufacturers

Though I could never, begrudge anyone that has worked hard for such opulence, the joys it brings, I can't help but wonder, if that amount of money could be better spent, helping others rather than pleasing the desires of one person. If I had that kind of dosh, maybe I'd get a.much smaller boat..... and the rest could go towards building a safe place for homeless and or sufferers of domestic violence. Help them get back on their feet....

  • In 1995 I lived in S. Florida and worked for a company that took older yacht hulls 50' and longer, then added 20' to 30' of length to the hull, and then finished it out completely, according to the client's wishes. I built all of the interior cabinetry, which was quite challenging, and required a lot more time and efforts to complete, compared to non-nautical cabinets and fixtures. I was paid well and the only "negative" was the heat and humidity while working inside the ship.

  • I love your video. I Love the sail boats. You guys build a huge assortment of boats. I use to work a smaller place back in the 80s. Bayfield Boat Yard. We built from 28 foot to 53 footers. Huge money back in the eighties. I remember everything you do is CNC modern life goes into your stuff .But it still takes people to roll out all the fiberglass. The only thing Different is you guys make the keel to bolt on. I have never heard or seen before. Stronger or smaller molds. We use to fiberglass the big heavy lead sections in the bottom of the keel. Beautiful 💕 looking boats and sailing vessels Thanks for sharing

  • I have to admit that the technicians are in a class way above 5 stars I also remember my uncle telling me when he accepted of his new fishing vessel and those words were grateful thanks to the chef at the boatyard and the cleaners at said yard and he went on to say that each and everyone working at the yard is essential and if one goes I’ll you’re cream crackered

  • The people who bemoan the ultra rich for having such things are so ignorant and short-sighted. Look at these beautiful objects, designed and created by engineers, artisans, and craftspeople that would not exist but for those who are able to afford them. Look at all the well paying jobs that the building of these yachts provide. I'm glad that there are people who can buy these amazing machines and people and companies with the skill to build them.

  • It would be a good idea to use stainless steel sheet metal for an extra durable bow around the hull and other sections of a boat to strengthen the boat hull. Then the form fitted sheet metal could be applied to the hull with epoxy and bolts. Then fiber glassed and epoxied over to seal the sheet metal and bolts. Then finally a paint job over the hardened epoxy. Plus hybrid gas or diesel electric engine systems with the toroidal props would make more fuel efficient longer range super yachts !

  • Building the yacht very tidiest. Masterpiece of the complicated to concord of the seas. To made the yacht sailing safely is another major issue, involving the costs operating, the crews on board, the permissions to dock internationally for each venturing out/in at sea shores. Owning the yacht or the boat- just as burning money. You couldn’t operate by yourself nor heading out waters with families without professional crews onboard. I wouldn’t have such fun with crews onboard and paying them to help me to have fun’s with my yacht(No, I rather operating by my own to seven seas).
