In this video I'm going to be ranking EVERY COSTUME in the Devil May Cry Series on a Tier List. This will include all main and alternate costumes from all the playable characters in the main series as well as the reboot.
I will also be ranking the outfits from WORST to BEST on the tier list as we go through though them, which will be reflected by the Tier List at the very end.

V’s costume being green isn’t meant to be a reference to Vergil, but instead, it’s supposed to be like Gilver from the dmc novel.

It's such a pity that Capcom didn't give more skins in DMC 5 I'm still hoping for some DLC - maybe playable Lady and Trish
also all of the alternative skins kinda meh, except for V, such a shame

One thing that people miss on the dmc3 legendary dark knight is the fact his shadow is his sparda form with the wings open and then when he transforms the wings close.
Same as dmc 1 "sparda" outfit, exept in dmc1 he gets yamato which turns into "devil sword sparda" once in devil trigger.
The only reason I like White and Gold Nero from DMC5 is because it is meant to be reminiscent of Credo, and I actually really love Credo, bro deserved better!

The only reason i like the Nero recolor in 5 is because the DT makes him look like Credo and its so damn cool.
Plus they changed the devil trigger colors and it looks even more dope

The black coat on Dante DMC4 makes him look like goth ,wich is interesting.
Honestly, your ranking is pretty close to what I would have picked myself, aside from the concept Nero from DMC4 because that one just hits different for me.
I'm surprised You didn't mention the Taunts between Coat and Coatless dante, because his dialogue changes, Coatless dante is my favorite because when you use taunt at SSS rank, Dante says "Let's start the party!" And with that, it was my favorite in DMC3
corrupted Vergil is the closest thing to playing as Gilver from the Tony Redgrave dmc one novel because he's under the influence of Mundus and his dt is Nelo Angelo the downside is he's not wearing a green tux and he would be ok with using guns instead of phantom swords because in the novel the Nelo Angelo replica would use whatever he could get his hands on to complete his task and number 3 Corrupt Vergil skin doesn’t have bandages around his face nor is his hair flip how i would picture Gilver with the bandages coming off is a dmc3 model of hair flipped Vergil and default Dante
I could be wrong but i believe if nico's alt is ment to reference her mom which is a nice touch atleast technically it makes it the first time we've ever seen the woman who made ebony and ivory for Dante in the games

DMC2 DMC1 Dante's Costume was just importing the model from dmc1 into dmc2.
U said that hair made DMC4 Nero look like pale imitation of Dante and Vergil and glad that they changed it in dmc5, meanwhile me specifically modding dmc5 for nero to have dmc4 hair from get go cuz I hated that his shaved design made him look less like a part of sparda family. Also he just looks less like a dork in cutscenes with longer hair

DMC5 Dante has 0 pizzazz. There's no flair to him. Especially because of the super muted colors. I also think they should've given him a proper beard. Imo Dante's fit peaked in DMC4.
